My daughter started at SFG when she was only 3 years old after we moved from New England roughly 1 year ago. SFG has done an AMAZING job at recognizing her potential and fostering it! They have "bumped her up" numerous class levels over the last year to ensure she is participating in classes that challenge her... even though she may be the youngest (and tiniest) in each class. Her confidence and skill have grown tremendously, and at only 4 years old, she is a proud member of their team! I am so grateful to all of the coaches and SFG staff. They provide wonderful individualized direction to each student. Their skills, patience and confidence in my daughter are unmatched. She has gained more than just physical strength in the last year. Pride, self-esteem, respect and sportsmanship to name a few. I cannot recommend SFG enough, and cannot wait to continue to watch her excel and grow. β‘

South Florida gymnastics is has been nothing but exceptional.
I started as a toddler here and did their competitive gymnastics program. I am now a full time employee and enjoy working here. My kids love the teachers and Iβve noticed how strong my preschooler has gotten.
The management has been very professional and has always been flexible and thoughtful with their policies.
This place values being family oriented and kids happiness while enjoying the sport.
I 100% recommend

My daughter has been attending the beginners group for about 3 months and she absolutely loves it. We were able to squeeze in 5 one on one classes with her coach! It is worth every penny to attend!

The staff is awesome. Particularly coach Jeremy which typically works with the boys is excellent at explaining things to my son. He is fair, firm and patient which son loves. The facility is large and in good shape. Overall a great place for us.

Absolute best gym in Bradenton/Sarasota area. They have been in business for 40 years. Most professional, passionate and caring coaches who really do this for the right reasons. Just look at their website and Facebook and you'll see. Take a free trial class and your child will be begging to come back.

Upon receiving this complaint we would like to address a couple things. On June 1st we received a 2 week notice from our boys head coach and immediately took action to find a replacement. We temporarily gave the position to our assistant boys coach who is USAG professionally certified and had been working with the boys through their entire season, and several years prior to. Through our search we found several candidates but it did take us more than 2 weeks to find the perfect coach for our program, just as it would in various other work places involving children.
In reference to the financial accusations: We have the appropriate documentation stating that necessary notices would be given in order to leave our program , just as all other members of our facility are required to give. Because this situation was so unusual we held all June charges for participants in our competitive boys program and allowed them the choice to stay with us until we could find a replacement or to go elsewhere and return once we found a replacement. This particular family gave their notice for their daughter in May and as a curtesy we applied her deposit of $240 toward her sons account. On the first of June, when we found out our boys head coach would be pursuing other opportunities we gave them the option to stay or to go. They decided one week later that they needed to leave and go to another gym as they were not satisfied with our replacement coach. After receiving his withdraw notice we allowed him to quit immediately and refunded the $145 difference from his deposit, however we did not refund the additional May tuition as they did not give proper notice to withdraw from our program.
We understand that this was not an ideal situation; however our interest has always been whatβs best for our students and will continue to be. It is clear through the documentation given that we have gone above and beyond to help this family with their situation and we apologize for the heartache and wish you and your athlete the most success in the future.
