Sunset Martial Arts has really been such a great experience for our family. When we first joined we could tell this gym truly cares about the kids and the families who walk through their doors. My husband and I are very grateful for Coach Angel, Coach Esko, their families, and the whole coaching team. We have three kids enrolled and it has truly been a wonderful extension of what we already work hard to instill at home: staying strong, disciplined, respectful, and always aiming to better yourself. The coaches are consistent, intentional and you can tell they genuinely want to partner with other parents to build kids up, not just in jiu jitsu skills, but in the mindset and character that carries into everyday life.

Over the year, it has become a community we’re thankful to be part of. My kids look forward to every class, and it’s been amazing to watch them grow in such a well grounded environment. I go to the women’s kickboxing classes, and I love that the trainers have created such a positive and welcoming environment. They’re patient, knowledgeable, and very focused on technique,making sure you’re using proper form while keeping the learning experience fun. The training has helped me increase my focus, build confidence, and feel stronger. I’m really glad I stepped out of my comfort zone to try something new, and I encourage anyone to do the same.

Hands down best extracurricular activities for my child in Cape Coral FL! Jiu Jitsu is more than a sport. Sunset Martial Arts offers great programs for people of all ages but most importantly they instill respect, discipline, confidence and fun. Even though they offer a 5-day trial, it only took us one day to sign our son up. He’s been attending for a month now, and we’ve already seen so much progress—in his confidence, focus, and discipline. He absolutely loves going every day—yes, all 5 days a week! The instructors are amazing, patient, and truly care about each child’s growth. Here is what I saw based on one day of interacting. I called Sunset to get some information today and they answered the call and provided all the information I needed. I called a second time and he answered and greeted me by my first name. I brought my son to class and I immediately could see lots of indicators of what the culture of the gym was like. They had students in my son’s age group come over and introduce themselves, which helped him better enjoy the class. They have all the students shake hands with each other and the adults. Respect is very obviously a value here. They had four and sometimes five coaches on the floor working with a class of 12 students, previous clubs we have been to were 1 or 2 to 12. This coach to student ratio is really important to me. You can see in the picture how present the coaches are during the class. So each student was getting direct attention from a coach while learning the skills. The coaching was very good, they hold high standards, and everything was very clean. It’s clearly the kind of place kids learn values and also martial arts. I’ll definitely be bringing my son back to try a few more classes before we sign up. But day one perspective I saw a lot of great things at Sunset.

I enrolled my 7-year-old daughter for jiu-jitsu classes here. She absolutely LOVES it! From the moment I first called, I was kindly greeted and warmly welcomed to try out classes.

The facility is beautiful and kept very clean. Benches are spread out around, making it comfortable and easy to watch your kid. The skilled and patient coaches do an excellent job of making sure the kids stay motivated. The different classes throughout the week have a balance of building skills and endurance while making it fun for the children!

My family and I are truly blessed to be a part of the team at Sunset Martial Arts. Highly recommended!

I’m so glad I went to check it out. I’m no stranger to Jiu-Jitsu, but I’ve been in and out for a while. I saw their promotion for a “Free Week Trial” on Instagram, and they are very close to my work. So, last night I gave it a try.

Huge space that was bright and clean (which is huge plus for me when going to close combat sport gyms!). I was immediately greeted and welcomed in. Staff and members are super friendly! Angel, the owner/instructor, is very professional and helpful. Promoting a fun atmosphere while pushing you to be the best you can. Their adult class flowed nicely with great instruction.

I had so much fun rolling and being a part of a new space. If you are swinging by the area, or looking to start something new, I definitely recommend Sunset! Go see for yourself!
