Sweet Peas is an educational gymnastics program designed to promote physical, social and cognitive development in children 6 months to 9 years old. Early childhood provides important windows of developmental opportunity. Basic components of a child’s neural development are genetically coded, however, trillions of finer neural connections are unprogrammed, and they are heavily influenced by enriching early childhood experiences. Research shows that movement and sensory activities strengthen and bond synapses – the essential connections between neurons. Sweet Peas’ Educational Gymnastics curriculum helps forge the architecture of a child’s brain that will serve him or her for a lifetime.

I’m not sure why a response from the owner was posted before I even wrote my review. The mention of safety in their reply is interesting, considering that multiple times older siblings were in the younger children’s class running around, which didn’t feel like a high quality or safe experience.
The make-up policy was disappointing, though. My daughter missed two weeks while sick because I wanted to be extra cautious about exposing other kids. Since open spots in other classes are visible online, I’m not sure how that would impact safety or balance. It just came across as more about policy than care.
That said, the make-up issue wasn’t the main reason for switching to a new gym, the class itself just wasn’t a great fit for us, especially after trying something more structured and gymnastics focused.

Been going for a little over a year and ever since they changed the instructor to Elise it’s been a complete disaster . Each time she manages to humiliate me and my two daughters by stopping class and saying we are not on the list or she can’t find us on the list . I went for a make up and she made a huge production how we are not suppose to be there . Stopping class calling texting the owner going out of her way to once again humiliate and say we aren’t supposed to be there . Until I finally showed her the make up email confirmation. Today I had enough!! Entered class and immediately goes out of her way no good morning or anything THIS IS A PARENT PARTICIPATION CLASS ! As I kid you not in the middle of taking my shoes off to join the class. I’ve been going for a year of course I know it’s parent participation. I will not be returning . I’d like a full refund . Also , Elise is a manager fixer and controller complete psycho with the kids . These are 2 and 3 years olds and gets so controlling if the children don’t do what she says . I don’t understand how someone that controlling is running a business that involves children !! Save your self the money humiliation and headache and just keep your babies away from there

Sweet Peas is the best gym for little ones. We had a big group of moms that all attended on Thursdays and we had so much fun! My daughter loves how clean the gym is and I love the new obstacles that are set up each time we come. Their instructors are so nice and really patient with the littles. My toddler is obsessed with gymnastics bc of SP! Love the owners and the location is ideal for LWR moms. Highly recommend!

My daughter had a blast for the first time here Saturday . I think I need to book a double class. I signed her up to meet friends and it was sad she cried when we left . She had the time of her life and the teachers are so sweet . I Will definitely continue her here

My little girl LOVES going here. She runs to the door saying "let's go!" everytime I say it's time for Sweet Peas! It is a very clean, well maintained facility, and our teacher is sweet & kind with my 16 month old. I highly recommend!!!

You know it’s good when your kids like it! Haha! I have twins, and they both love their Ninja class here! There’s constant movement and change of scenery during the hour long session! It keeps them on their toes, and they don’t lose interest! They sleep so well the nights we have this class!

Would not recommend them- way too many kids in the class to allow teachers to give proper instructions, which is so vital during gymnastics. Didn’t seem safe. The instructors seemed to always give more time and attention to certain students they knew better. And the lack of understanding of developmental levels of preschool age kids was shocking. It may be fine for older kiddos or those that have already been taught proper technique and safety. Instructor was rude when we tried to share how to work with our kid and get their cooperation easier. Now we’re at a new gym and our kid is thriving with the better fit.

It’s small and I was unsure at first, but my daughter loves going there. She has learned more than she ever did at the big gyms and they seem to really care for their students. She is so excited when it is gymnastics day. Highly recommend!

Great gymnastics company for littles! Our first class wasn’t the best and my son was so nervous. Everyone who works here is so kind and patient. By the second and third class my son felt comfortable and ready to learn. Now that it’s been a few months of attending, he is running out the door to go to gymnastics class and he has learned so much about how he can move his body!

We love Sweet Peas Gymnastics! My daughter started there since they open. She learning how to do handstand and almost ready for her cartwheels. The team is very helpful and great place to learn basic foundations and be a great gymnast!

I have 2 children that have attended SweetPeas since they opened and they are amazing! The staff is great, very knowledgeable and hands on, the owners are very involved and great people. The gym is very clean, well kept, I love the seating area that’s open so I can watch my kids. My kids love it and look forward to it every week! If you are looking for a great place for your kids, this is your place!
