I’ve been a member at Tern for years and it’s my home away from home. The coaches are extremely helpful and always watching you to make sure movements are being done properly to avoid injuries. The staff and the community is amazing. The gym is always kept up and clean.

I’ve been a member since the beginning. I never would’ve thought that I could enjoy CrossFit as much as I do, but I owe all to the great people leading this gym. The reviews describing a man named Jack Matthews are all fake and are due to him being a bully and making alarming comments on a show called Big Brother. Even though his behavior is terrible, it does not mean fans should give bad 1 star reviews to a gym where he possibly works at. The fact that people are deliberately lying and making up stores which clearly never happend is despicable. I suggest instead of giving 1 star reviews, contact the company instead of bringing them down for the actions of 1 man who possibly doesn’t even work there anymore. It sucks to see a business near me that I go to occasionally be dragged through the mud because of all of this. The employees there are caring and are professionals from my experience. Again, if you are upset with the actions of Mr.Matthews, email the business instead of making up false stories. I get that his actions are anger inducing, but please direct your anger to the right place.

I have been at Tern for YEARS, and dropped in to other boxes when I travel on occasion. I can tell you that Tern is hands down nothing short of EXCELLENT. The owners are hands on, excellent athletes, excellent coaches, and excellent business people. The coaches are caring, hard working, attentive, and experienced. The facility is better than any other I have been to. If you are looking for a new box, or wanting to try CrossFit for the first time, I promise you won't be disappointed. Try it.

Great gym. I drop in whenever I am in town visiting family. Very welcoming and clean facility. Coaches are great and everyone gets an awesome workout. Awesome set up for weightlifting if you just want to get a lift in! Anyone who is looking for a box in the area or is visiting for a short time, definitely get to Tern! Thanks guys. I contemplated doing Crossfit for years, but honestly I was intimated. I felt I wasn't fit enough to "fit in", and then I decided to give it a go!! I chose Tern after a friend invited me there because they are an incredible bunch. Although all my trainers are fit and look phenomenal, they are super down-to-earth and friendly. I still lack a lot of endurance and feel behind many times but they treat me like I am a champ and make me feel so equal and welcomed. Love this place.

Great box to join or drop in if in the area! Coaches are extremely patient, friendly and have a wealth of information for those just starting as well as the more advanced athlete looking to improve overall performance. The box is well maintained and the equipment is all of good quality. Certainly worth a visit!
