The Bar Method Orlando - Winter Park is a boutique fitness studio offering barre classes for students of all levels. The signature method uses your own body weight, the ballet barre and a few props to create a transformative workout that results in long, lean sculpted muscles. Not only does it reshape your entire body, but it allows you to channel your inner strength and leave class feeling strong, confident and poised. Highly-trained instructors customize the exercises to ensure they are safe and effective for any age and every body, including modifications for pregnant women and students with injuries. I started The Bar Method just two weeks ago, mainly looking for a low-impact workout to support my recovery from a knee injury—and I’m honestly amazed at how quickly I’ve seen results. The Bar Method Winter Park is unlike any other workout place around. Karen has created a caring, friendly and supportive community. Everyone no matter your age, body shape, weight, etc. are welcome. The instructors are the best in the Central Florida area. They will correct your form and make sure you don’t hurt yourself or are overdoing it. The playlists are top notch and the teachers are making you laugh or praising you so you don’t quit. Each day you are working on different body parts so it’s a full body workout each day. The workouts are always challenging but if you need more of a challenge the instructors always give you more options so you can get the best workout routine. They also have different classes from regular bar method to strength, to cardio. There truly is a class format for everyone. I have been coming to the Bar Method Winter Park for almost two years and it has made me more flexible, toner and stronger. I love getting my workouts here! The Bar Method has amazing instructors who are all encouraging and supportive. Karen is the owner and she has created a wonderful place for women to get fit and feel good about themselves. The whole staff is very welcoming and they make an effort to know your name immediately. There are lockers, a shower and towels available to use. There are often fun challenges and other activities to participate in where you can win things like free bar socks or discounted merchandise. Best place to work out in Winter Park especially for ladies. It’s low impact and the steps are not intricate. It’s actually exercise at the ballet bar. I’ve been doing it for 13 years and I’ve never stuck with an exercise program for more than a short time before I found Bar Method. Thank you to the owner KarenMarino, who brought it here. It’s a great place to work out in social setting with the nicest instructors and the friendliest staff. I work out with many friends here and we just all adore it. The express classes on my absolute favorite in 45 minutes you get a whole workout in and you feel like 1 million bucks afterwards. Also, I love it because I can do it at lunch. I don’t sweat a ton and I can just put my work clothes back on and get back to business quickly.

This studio is beautiful! Everyone from the front desk to the instructors, and the other class participants were super kind! Studio is LGBTQ+ affirming and has great package options. The class itself was phenomenal. I was shaking like a leaf. They offered clear instructions and all necessary tools ot items you'd need for the class. They even celebrate their participants and recognize their birthdays and other milestones. They gave me a tour of the studio and gifted me a bag of epsom salt after my first class! Definitely recommend this studio to anyone interested in barre workouts. It is a fun loving and inclusive environment for all kinds of people, body types and ages!

I've never been one to commit to an exercise routine until now! I'm 99 classes in, and I still absolutely love it! There’s such a beautiful sense of community here and the owner is a wonderful human. Having had hand, foot, and spine surgery, I need to be careful, but I feel incredibly safe in this environment. The workouts are low impact and whole- body focused. The instructors are highly trained and are always there to correct unsafe positions. While it may be a costly, it’s truly worth it.

This was my first experience taking a barre class and I have been back 5 times since, it is ADDICTING and DIFFICULT. I lift heavy weights 4-5x a week, do yoga regularly, and this has my whole body shaking with no weights needed.
I'm a ClassPass girly but they welcomed me with open arms the first day I walked in and have been SO SWEET and welcoming every single time I go. The instructors are kind to everyone, no matter what you look like or how in shape you are.
The workout is balanced. I enjoy both the Bar Method class (60 min) and the Bar Method Express class (45 min). They never sit on one movement for too long but definitely give your muscles ample time to scream and shake. I look forward to coming here once or twice a week to supplement my workouts!

The Winter Park location has been absolutely great since I moved to the area! Every instructor I have taken, and I’ve taken a decent amount of them, has been super friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. I’ve even received a couple of cards from the studio giving me well wishes as it related to a personal family situation I was going through. I’ve never experienced that at a fitness studio, ever! Additionally, everyone that attends the classes, particularly the 6AM classes, is super fun to be around and I feel like I’ve made some great class friends. Definitely recommend.

As a plus size person I was super nervous about joining an exercise class surrounded by mirrors.

Extremely beneficial work out for me before and during the pandemics. It’s safe to my aging joints and remote injuries. It helps to eliminate my chronic back, hip and neck pain by enhancing muscle strength and adjusting better posture. It’s hard core workout and does not get easier. Whatever level you are, you can get full body strength and flexibility challenge during the 45 mins to one hour session. It doesn’t take much space or special equipment. Especially during current situation, it is awesome to do it at home through online program 24/7. Karen, the owner, and all the instructors are fun and inspiring. They follow similar routines and corporate teaching updates yet have different teaching styles. They show us no matter what happens, we stay beautiful and strong.

I have joined several gyms, but have never really been satisfied with the outcome, or the environment, like I am at Bar Method, Winter Park. The owner, instructors and staff are all knowledgeable, professional, courteous and fun. The members are also very easy to get along with and considerate, which you don't always find at traditional gyms. I got a Groupon for two weeks of unlimited classes, and I plan to take advantage of the lower rate for January for a month of unlimited classes for new members. This class is great for working small muscle groups. I would recommend cardio and strength training in addition to this class, but I highly recommend it in conjunction with those other types of exercise .

I wasn't sure I was up for this at first, but now, it's become an addiction.
My body says "thank you" after every class. The instructors are all kind and knowledgeable and make sure you get clear instruction on form. I didn't know I was capable of half the things I am now doing . No one cares where you want to stand .... there's none of that "you're in my spot" stuff. Somehow there is an unwritten rule that only kindness is allowed here.

By far my favorite form of working out. When I first started at the Bar Method, everyone was so welcoming and warm. Made me feel like I was family right at the beginning of my first class. Fast forward to 3 months later, they still treat you like you’re family and always warm, kind and happy to have you there. The work outs are amazing and I’ve definitely noticed a difference in overall strength and toning of my body. I look forward to my class and try to go 4 times a week. The vibe at Bar is welcoming! I did a two week class and then decided to go unlimited on a monthly basis. With a sit down job, this was exactly what I needed to feel attached back to my body and not just a head floating on a torso. The instructors are encouraging and really help newbies with their form. Bar is a fantastic way to not overdo it and feel “cinched in” again. It’s a great way to ease into the week with a Monday class and end with the Saturday morning class. I’m hooked!

I absolutely love the Bar Method! I have been an athlete and gym rat my whole life and in just a few sessions at the bar method I saw results. I have had many personal trainers and have never seen results that quickly. Thank you Karen for creating the best workout for me at the Winter Park location and thank you Tess Falk for introducing me to this workout.

I have enjoyed the classes at The Bar Method studio! The instructors are welcoming and friendly with lots of hands on assistance as they pay close attention to your form to assure you will not hurt yourself and that you get the most out of ever position. The classes are challenging and you get out of it what You put into it! The studio is very neat and tidy. They offer locker, towel and shower services as well!

The ladies at the Bar Method are super friendly and welcoming. I was nervous for my first class but they make you feel like you’re a part of the family right off the bat! The workout is incredible and you see noticeable changes in no time. Definitely worth a try!

I've been coming to this studio for about 2 1/2 years now. The workouts are amazing, but it's the instructors and staff that keep me coming back for more. This is an incredible group of women that give so much more that a workout. They are welcoming, supportive, and push you in the most positive way. I was nervous to begin classes here because I knew that I would be starting with several modifications and likely far behind the rest of the class' abilities. I've just completed my 12th class and I'm thrilled with my progress. Instructors like Dolly and Karen have made me feel so welcome and supported and many of the students are encouraging. I'm happy that I made the decision to keep at it and I look forward to growing stronger in my physical abilities and with the Bar Method community.

Have been attending BARR for just over 2 years. My core has never been stronger and my body has never felt better. I have lost 2” in my hips and my waist is 1” smaller. This is a great workout and works out your entire body. The instructors here are also there to support you and teach how to hold the poses correctly. All BARRs are not created equal so make sure you go to BARR Method.

The Bar Method Winter Park is amazing! It's the only workout I've ever been able to stick to. I've been going here for over four years (since the day they opened!). Not only is the workout incredible, but the instructors are simply the best. They are attentive to each client and always go above and beyond. I did Bar Method until I was 37 weeks pregnant, and picked it up again just 6 weeks after my baby was born. It definitely helped me stay in shape during my pregnancy, and helped me bounce back quickly! I can't say enough good things. Check it out!

Began classes in January and after only six months feel stronger and more limber. Instructors are very helpful with explanations of what the exercises are doing for your body and making subtle "adjustments" to correct form and posture for maximum benefit. They encourage those who've been attending for awhile to challenge themselves, and those who are just beginning to not give up. The instructors, as well as the front desk staff, are always super cheerful and greet everyone by first name. The studio is beautifully decorated, with lockers and even showers with toiletries, hair dryers, etc. if you are going out afterwards. I enjoy the Bar Method very much and look forward to my visits. P.S. If you find the routines too strenuous at first and struggle to keep up, don't be tempted to quit. It gets easier as you get stronger!
