The Training Spot is filled with unbelievable energy. Everyone is so welcoming and the coaches help you grow substantially. I’ve never met a group of trainers who’s main focus is to help others. Each trainer as a different coaching style so you’ll never be bored or unchallenged!
The training spot is a great place to get connected with people in the community, learn more about your strengths and weaknesses, and overall just have fun! I’m a firm believer in “don’t fix what ain’t broken” and all I can say is, there’s no reason to ever leave the training spot, I’ve found my gym family♥️

Came all the way from NYC to take a class w the crazy trainer aka Jarrod Cardona.. the class was amazing and the energy was palpable. Jarrod gave great instructions and challenges your knowledge of kettlebells by including dynamic movements and rotations. I would highly recommend his class if you are intermediate or advance. But the studio does have options for beginners!! 💙💙💙

At first it started it out with a friend inviting me to a flow class, and since then I got hooked. Tbh I initially was not exactly the most athletic motivated person before coming here but since then, that changed. The people here are. It only kind hearted individuals, but are also the exact people needed to keep pushing and encouraging me and I think I changed for the better. And while I am getting more stronger physically, I also am getting good pointers for being stronger mentally, especially on the concept of being more present in the situation and nothing more.

Overall I think this place changed me for the better and I have them to thank.

I really love how personable the staff is!
Not to mention how knowledgeable they are as well. From form all the way to breath work, I feel a lot more confident in my movements and training unconventionally has become my all time favorite style of training!
Jarrod’s trainings with kettlebells, steel mace and rope flow has taught me the art of flow with these tools. I’m so very satisfied with my results training here.

Cannot say enough about how incredible of an experience I had at The Training Spot! I don't live in Orlando, but I learned about the Crazy Trainer (shoutout Coach Jarrod!) and his awesome gym on Instagram. I reached out knowing I was going to be in town last weekend, and Jarrod was more than willing to meet up with me on a Sunday so I could get a session in.

The coaching you get at The Training Spot is some of the most mindful, deliberate and focused training I've ever received. Not only am I still sore (in the best possible way!), but I walked away more knowledgable and more aware of my body and it's movements, which is something I'll continue to take into account in my own workout sessions. The energy Jarrod gives off is immensely contagious, and his passion for positively impacting peoples' lives is palpable!

If you live in Orlando (or are just visiting like I was) and are looking for a place to get both your mind and body stronger, look no further than The Training Spot!

How many good thing can you fit into one review?! The Training Spot is a one stop shop for your fitness goals. Beyond the usual care that Jarrod (the Crazy Trainer) and his staff give to clients looking for the usual toning/weight loss journey, they also specialize in functional patterns and recovery. I have worked with the team here multiple times and this second time I came in after I developed knee pain due to sedentary ways during quarantine and I was pain-free a month later. Jarrod and his team will customize your workout routine to be exactly what you need to feel your best self. They focus on making you better from the inside out. Breathwork, functional patterns (so, you think you know how to walk, right?) and release are all part of the program options. I appreciate their level of care to make you feel at home and included and could not recommend them more!

I did one of Jarrod’s (aka The Crazy Trainer) group fitness classes on a Saturday. I loved the style of workout, which was circuit training mixed in with some unconventional training with the steel mace and kettlebells. Jarrod kept me motivated throughout the class and corrected my posture throughout. I learned a lot and look forward to coming back. I highly recommend this place!

Went for a weekend group training session with my husband and mom and we all loved it! It’s a small place but loved the indoor/outdoor workout, with creative exercises and fun trainers. Jarrod and Jimmy are great. Everyone was so nice. No judgement at all and I definitely needed a lot of modifications after recently having had a baby. Looking forward to going again the next time I am in town!

This Personal Training establishment maintains a safe, professional, and supportive environment where clientele are able to arrive and thrive physically as well as mentally by conventional and unconventional means —Kettle Bell and Steel Mace just to name a few.

Apart from the Training Spot’s biomechanics proficiency, its continued drive for spiritual fitness is its most attractive quality. Meaning, the individuals methodically selected as instructors are grounded and thoughtful of their equipment and service to their patrons.

I started training with Jarrod almost two weeks ago. My experience has been quite pleasant, I’ve seen phenomenal results in a short amount of time. The atmosphere is different, you will leave feeling confident and well informed. I was very impressed with the professionalism of Coach Jimmy. My definition of a professional is someone who puts the interest of the clients above his and Coach Jimmy certainly does! If he was a doctor, I would say he has great bedside manners. He is so encouraging and friendly and he is so knowledgeable in his field. A true expert he is!
I went to him because i was suffering very much physically and mentally after my surgery. His physical training and encouragement helped me so much that my pain and negative altitude vanished. Coach Jimmy approaches his training with you physically, mentally and spiritually. I highly recommend him and The Training Spot as the best place to recover and to improve one's health.

Man, I am so blessed to have come across this business. Recently, I have been working with Jarrod and not only is he pouring into my fitness/health/muscle toning goals, but he is also pouring into my mind. This facility embraces a growth mindset. Jarrod is a professional, knows his craft very very well, and does an amazing job at creating rapport and allowing you to feel welcomed.

The sessions are one on one and when he's coaching me, you can tell that's the only thing he is focused on. He has a lot of physiology knowledge! In every movement, he is aware. I just started, so I haven't been able to work with Jimmy yet, but you are who you surround yourself with so I know he will share the same values as Jarrod.! I can't wait to see where this journey will lead me.

Working out at the Training Spot has been the health decision I have made in years. In four months of training and following their advice I have lost 41 pounds. Using his kinesiology degree and knowledge, Jared has helped me resolve several chronic injuries, for example I was getting a cortisone shot in my ankle every month for the last four years that I no longer need. I have been training here for a few years and can say I would not go anywhere else. When looking for a trainer it is hard to find someone that is consistent . Not only is Jrod consistent in proving energy for every session, he is extremely knowledgeable. I am an athlete and have suffered a few injuries playing various sports, and Jrod has been able to creative effective training sessions around my injuries. The bottom line is, if you are looking for someone that will push you in getting to the Next level, while always keeping the workouts exciting, then the Training Spot is the place to be.

I met Jarrod the owner of the "Training Spot" at a time in my life I was super vulnerable, I was experiencing severe pain throughout my whole body. I have always been someone who loves fitness but I had stopped going to the gym many months prior. I instantly felt like I had met someone who was not only truly passionate about what he does but someone who genuinely cares about your health and well being. Jarrod helped me build up my strength, gain my muscle back and ultimately be pain free. Regaining my physique was a plus but knowing my health was back on track is priceless. I'm so thankful to have come across the training spot and met this amazing human and trainer! Not to mention quickly I felt comfortable in his facility + all the equipment needed to get an amazing session provided! Very dedicated and knowledgeable trainers. Prior to starting here I had begun experiencing bilateral knee pain whenever I did a lower body workout to the point where I had to stop working out my legs. Jarrod helped me correct the improper body mechanics that I had been unknowingly using so that I can actually workout my legs and have my leg muscles be sore not my knees.

In addition recovery and strength training are also thoroughly gone over. I guarantee after a session with Jimmy ur sore muscles will melt away, leaving you ready to go hard for the next training session

I have to say Jarrod from The Training Spot really helped me to focus on the problem areas of my body. After back surgery I had a lot of physical therapy, but the help I received from Jarrod really made a difference in my exercise routine. I generally do not give out reviews, to be an exception a place has to really impress me! Been training at Training Spot for a few months now, and this place does impress me and is an exception to my no review philosophy. The equipment and tools needed for me to meet and exceed my fitness goals are here, all in a well maintained, clean environment. Since it is a training only gym, there is maybe one other client being trained at the same time when I’m there, which leads to my next benefit here, each machine is available as I need it! The staff equally impresses me with there knowledge and genuine investment in getting results!

Where can I start?
This gentleman Jarrod Cardona is probably thee ONLY individual I’ve come across who actually can tap into your body with his passion of training. I was able to train at his facility and let me tell you I loved EVERY SINGLE MINUTE of it! Great environment for getting into a healthier mindset both physically and mentally! The trainers here create a personal goal oriented workout that is based on science and functional conditioning, all the while looking for creative new methods that personally keep me challenged and excited to work out!
