Best golf instructor I’ve ever been to and it’s not even close. I’ve had many many lessons and have even gone to a famous celebrity instructor with no significant results. In my first lesson Tony showed me some things that no one has ever pointed out but it gave me very immediate and significant improved results. Because Tony sent me videos of the lesson, it is very exciting to see that I’m hitting positions that I just didn’t think my body would ever do. The positions that every single good ball striker gets into. I wish I had met Tony 25 years ago but excited to have found him now!

I have been working with Tony since 2019. Easily the best golf instructor and coach, that I have ever had. My handicap has been descending through the single digits over the past 5-6 years, and the tournament results have kept getting better each successive year. For three reasons: his superb overall instruction with respect to all parts of the golf game, my willingness to practice and work away at it, and our combined enthusiasm for always trying to improve.
Tony has a superb eye for everything in your golf game....your full swing, your putting, your chipping and pitching, and your sand play. He spots shortcomings in your game instantly, and then immediately backs his own observations up with shared video, that lets images back up and reinforce what he first says. His lessons take place everywhere....on the range, the putting green, the chipping and pitching and sand trap practice areas, and then every third or fourth lesson is a playing lesson.....we go out on the course, and the teaching continues! It never stops with him. Every single lesson I have ever had with Tony, I have learned something, and usually ten+ somethings. I make and keep notes, and every single lesson adds something to them. I consider those pieces of paper that sum up 5.5 years of lessons with him, to be some of the most valuable of anything in life that I have! Like the lessons down on paper, he's an absolute treasure! Always energetic, upbeat, encouraging, fun and enthusiastic! That's the sort of instruction that always has worked best for me in any sport and in any pursuit in life, and he nails it every time! I take golf and golf tournaments pretty seriously, and in my opinion, there is not a better golf instructor out there! I sincerely believe that any golfer, no matter their current ability, will get better, make improvements and score better, if they commit to lessons with Tony, and then go put in consistent work on both the range and on the golf course, with what he's taught you. Oh, where do I even start with Tony? This guy is like the golf whisperer, I swear. Before I met Tony, my swing was more like a desperate flail than anything that could reasonably be called a golf swing. But Tony, he's got this chill vibe that just puts you at ease right away. He doesn't come at you with a bunch of technical jargon that sounds like it's straight out of a physics textbook. Instead, he's got this knack for breaking things down into bite-sized, easy-to-understand pieces.

The thing is, Tony's not just about improving your swing; he's about improving your entire game, from the mental approach down to the nitty-gritty of your putting technique. And somehow, he makes it all fun. There were days I'd come in feeling totally off my game, and he'd turn it around without making it feel like a chore.

His patience is out of this world, too. Never makes you feel rushed or like you're just another lesson on his schedule. He genuinely wants to see you get better and celebrates your victories, big or small, right alongside you.

He uses these simple but super effective drills that somehow manage to highlight exactly what you need to work on? It’s like he’s got a sixth sense for diagnosing golf ailments.

I have had a few teachers over my years of playing golf and none have really worked out because they want to change everything. I signed up with Tony and what a world of difference. He works within your capabilities and athleticism. He is patient and takes the time to make sure you understand what exactly is going on in the different areas of your swing. I am an ex D1 ncaa golfer. Since graduating in 2014 I have not played much golf and had been shooting in the high 70’s / low 80’s. Since starting working with Tony in September 2022 I have started shooting in the low 70’s again and have several under par scores.

Tony was able to quickly diagnose where I was going wrong with my swing and help me understand in a simple way what we had to improve and work on. I have worked on exactly what he told me to and the results have followed.

As well as long game we have worked on short game and putting. Tony follows up lessons with voice over swing video recaps which are detailed and great to refer back to.

Wow. I had a golf lesson with Tony Keeton yesterday and the experience was incredible due to Tony's high energy and expert instruction. Within 30 minutes, Tony had diagnosed my major issues and I saw immediate results with a more solid strike which added accuracy and 10 yards on my irons. Tony is an amazing instructor. I decided to take up golf to spend time with my dad who is a golf enthusiasts when he visits. Before lessons I played maybe 3 times over 3 years and was averaging 110 to 115. I was embarrassed to play. Two lessons....just TWO and I just hit my best score at 91. I just scheduled my third lesson to push me into the 80's. There is no magic tricks that he gives. Today my husband & I, both in our sixties and complete beginners had a joint lesson with Tony. Working with us on grip, stance and swing we made great progress in striking the ball cleanly. Tony took videos of our swings and used stills from these to point out what we needed to correct. These were compared with photographs of professionals to illustrate the points.
The videos were mailed to us after the lesson so we can remind ourselves of the key issues. Tony was friendly and encouraging throughout.

I just recently took my first lessons with Mr. Keeton and they exceeded my already high expectations. I had taken lessons before with 5 different instructors which always left me asking more questions as opposed to finding answers. I have been playing golf for two and a half years. I have seen two other instructors which left me confused. The last 6 months of golf have been pretty miserable.
