My daughter here for a short amount of time and we’ve never wasted more money and when we thought just maybe we’d come back they showed us exactly why we shouldn’t they only care if you have some money to shove down there throat the don’t care how much money youve wasted, teacher canceled every other class makeup days landed on Easter and they aren’t even open on holidays!

My daughter was enrolled here years ago, and now that I’m looking for a gym for my other child, I was reminded why we will never come back. The owners/people in charge were unbelievably nasty and rude back then, and it seems from recent reviews that nothing has changed. Do not enroll your child here. Believe what you read. These people have cheap, unpleasant attitudes and don’t deserve your business. Look elsewhere if you want your child treated with respect.

Both my kids started in coach Ben's recreational class and loved it! He is an amazing coach. My youngest daughter decided to try out for the team she loved it so much and begged us. We had our first season this past season. To see my daughter grow in her skills and become more confident is everything! The coaches work really hard. My daughter loves all the coaches she works with on team. Thank you!

Horrible ownership. Some of the coaches are decent, but that’s about it. I actually feel bad for some of them. They are stuck with managers that treat both them and the children and their families horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone at all, and I am very surprised they are still in business! When I expressed why we were upset over how we were being treated, The owner then ran to register and charged me again For another month And then canceled my membership without addressing the problem. They basically canceled my membership on their own all because I expressed my concerns. I also seen someone else said the same thing. The owner has a very nasty attitude, and it really needs to be adjusted. What a joke!!

I have a daughter in gymnastics and two sons in the ninja warrior class. The staff is good with kids and the activities are great for their skill level. The are a wide range if classes and skill levels.

Please what ever you do DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT TOP CONTENDERS CHEERLEADING!!! We were promised 6-8 competitions our daughters on the "Senior" team went to 3! As parents we spent well over $3000 only to receive lies and never receive the thing that were promised in our CONTRACT! The final straw was that the owner and her minion of a daughter cancelled the rest of our girls season without notification and were very unprofessional about the whole thing! AGAIN I ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO JOIN TOP CONTENDERS CHEERLEADING PROGRAM!! Btw the entire YOUTH and SENIOR team from this year have decided not to return! Avoid this cheer organization !! Sign on the door should warn: enter at your own risk, no coach on duty. Price gouging, unsanitary conditions (lice infestation among athletes due to lack of cleaning the mats and knowingly allowing girls to compete with live bugs in their hair), the owner (Beth) yanks girls’ ponytails to “get their chins up” and is verbally abusive to children. Tried to report this gym to the Better Business Bureau- they are not members (big surprise). The owner creates a hostile environment and drama at your expense. The numbers speak for themselves- half the team quit before the last month. Families who stayed for the season in hopes of attending competitions went and paid other local gyms to supplement tumbling that was not being taught despite being “offered”. When asked if anyone is returning, we all said, “NO”!

My daughter has been with coach Riley for almost a year and we see more and more improvement every week! She is extremely kind and patient with all of the kids and has made this a great experience for our entire family. The staff and other coaches seem very friendly and caring as well we will be here for years to come!

Everyone was nice at first until we paid to be on team. The owner talked down to the girls and the coach, Ashley is just as mean to them. Things that happened to us while being there:
1. Pulled daughters pony tail for not looking the right way.
2. Grown adults sat on top of her to “help” her stretch.
3. She was called names, such as, crybaby and negative minded. (Shes 7 years old)
4. Son broke his arm at day camp and no one even knew or called.
Just be careful. Ask to meet the owner first. Follow your gut.
Ally is super nice however she is the owners daughter so situations and concerns were never handled appropriately.

My niece was a gymnast here and she was kicked out because her grandmother wanted to talk to someone about some of the issues she was having with the gym. This gym shows favorites and does not give each gymnast the same attention . The ones that they feel are more prominent get much more attention then the ones who are still learning and starting out.

I used to be a competitive gymnast throughout my entire childhood & now my kids are starting gymnastics. I have tried a few gyms close to where we live but none of them were “good gyms with good coaches”. This is by far the best gym I could find anywhere throughout Ocala, Beverly Hills, Homosassa & Crystal River areas and the Dunnellon area as well. We drive almost an hour to go to Top Contenders Gymnastics & it’s worth every penny in gas money. Thank you guys for providing a beautiful, clean gym that is organized and has coaches that are happy and know how to coach gymnastics, cheerleading, etc…Top Contenders Gym is better than what I expected, so thank you all for such a great establishment for our children to learn and grow! (And, I am a real customer & this is a real review. My kid is taking the beginners gymnastics class and she loves it so much that she counts down the minutes before her class starts each time)

Money eaters. The administration double charge my card in one week for a payment that was done in person two weeks before They said that the first time was a mistake but they were willing to give me a credit for the next month. Funny!!! Couple of days later they did it again. This time I called the bank and cancel the card. I requested a refund from them. But I am still waiting for a reason and the money. By law all automated payments must be authorized by the card holder. No authorization was made..

Started off great! Loved the place then true colors were shown. I was directly lied to by owners daughter and given the run around trying to make me a bad person. When it all came down to it its about money and favorites. We left and have no interest in going back. Also sense we left I have heard similar experiences from other families.

These people with 1 stars are not lying! I came here with my daughter a while back and the owners are argumentative and money hungry people. I have heard them screaming at parents for no reason and making the kids cry and they did not care not one bit. They have permanently traumatized my child from wanting to do sports because of their behavior. I don’t recommend this place at all. The people that wrote the good reviews are either being mind washed or were probably paid to write good reviews in my opinion. What a joke this place is! Oh and i must add as soon as i told her i was going to cancel she ran to computer and charged me one more month and then said ok have a great day with a nasty smirk. Very nasty ignorance is the only words i can find right now.

My daughter has been here for two years. What started as something to burn energy, has become an amazing empowering experience for her. She has grown so much in her sportsmanship first and foremost, athleticism second. Her friendships she has made are all supportive and lifelong. Safety is paramount here, the facility is clean and well cared for. My daughter is treated like family here. Personal growth and wellbeing is the priority here for all girls.

I have gone to this location on 3 different occasions to join tot time and on all 3 occasions they have canceled it. There was no notice on their social pages and no notice on their sign out front either. I’m very disappointed.

Love Top Contenders! Very friendly cautious about their precautions with the pandemic but not overly dramatic. Temperatures are taken and handsanatizer is given to all who enter. No mandatory mask enforcement it is your choice. It has been a great experience so far for my family and my 4 year old daughter loves it. She started taking classes in October and loves her coach Riley!

We visited the old building twice but absolutely love the new building. My daughter and necie have the absolute best time and I know they are safe. Most things have been replaced but the itmes not replaced aren't used for toddler time. I think it's wonderful having open play one day a week and we very much look forward to it.
