This is such a scam. The place is totally shut down, and he knew it was coming. He hired people even though he knew it was about to go out of business, kept charging customers every month, and then just disappeared with no warning. Turned on and blocked people that knew the truth. He even turned off comments so no one could call it out. Took the money, sold his house, and ran. Honestly, everyone should dispute every charge they can.

I have visited this studio when visiting my family in Maitland, and have always enjoyed visiting here. I am a frequent rider at my local spin studio in Maryland, so I am very familiar & experienced with indoor cycling and I am saddened to know this studio in Maitland is closing. The instructors, owner, and front desk staff were always welcoming and are nonjudgmental. All of the classes were always a fun workout. I truly hope this studio will reopen one day or relocate. If they do and you need a good and fun workout, Urban Body Works is the place to visit!! Kudos to you, Mauricio for creating a safe and wonderful space!!

Absolutely loved this place! After years of searching for a cycling studio that could compare to the one that my husband and I loved back home, we finally found it — and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment I walked in, the energy was so inviting, and the vibe was warm yet motivating. The classes are challenging but in the best possible way, and they make everyone feel welcome to ride!

It’s rare to find a studio that checks all the boxes — fun, supportive, amazing beats, choreo, and an incredible workout. I'm beyond grateful for the short time I spent here and for the amazing instructors we got to ride with (Caroline, Aimee, Fisher)

It breaks my heart to know this gem is closing. The cycling community will lose something truly special — this studio was so much more than just a place to ride. It was a space to connect, challenge yourself, and feel part of something bigger. We will definitely miss it here.

We spent the last two weekends absolutely adoring this special studio. Today we got word they are shuttering their doors and we are devastated. Everyone has been so nice, the front desk staff, the instructors and most importantly the members have made us feel so welcomed. We hope Urban comes back in some capacity. I usually don’t like cycling, but I really heard good things from a friend and tried it out with her. Our instructor was Laney and her energy early in the morning is unmatched! The music does tend to get really loud in there but they do other ear buds. Something about her class makes me come back every week. She plays really good music and the lighting in there just makes you feel like you’re in a club. I like that they give you towels in the beginning and then a nice cold one at the end.

Don’t go here! They are scammers! They basically stole nearly $600 for a class I only went to for a week! The owner has absolutely no humanity. He only cares for himself. Not his customers. He will present a contract that has no protection for you and will scam you out of your money. With that said here is the contract he will make you sign. Month over month. With that said the owner made me feel uncomfortable and I am going to post all the payments took from my account and the contracts. Mind you I was told by the front desk I can cancel after the first month. I even canceled the card that they took from and my account was still charged.

I went here months and months ago. From the classmates app. I saw a friend there and decided to sign for a membership. At signing I asked the front desk lady specifically if I could cancel after a month and she replied “yes.” Then the first issue arrived… when pressing the “book” button and being sent on a waitlist it doesn’t automatically add you into the class after pressing add me to the waitlist. So I was then charged 60$ on top of the monthly payment. So I was asked to be sent to the owner. He then said that the money can be taken off the next months payment. But, I don’t feel comfortable with what had happened already with the waitlist. I wanted to cancel. As a person should have the right to do. Also, after verbally being told that I could cancel the first month. The owner got really upset while I was remaining calm and said that he is going to charge me month over month. Mind you I went to this place for 1 week. I have more been charged about $600 for a place I don’t even go to. The owner made me feel soo uncomfortable and told me not to come back in. Just because i wanted to cancel after the first month. I went to this place, to support the owner and the lgbtq+ ownership. I am also apart of. But, it is ran by a crook. 600$ for a place I don’t even go. I learned my Lesson to never sign up for a class workout membership ever again. Thankyou. Also read contracts before you sign. These people have no idea what they were talking about when it comes to the contract. I truly trusted and that got thrown down the drain. Don’t go here if you don’t plan on staying for at least 3-4 months.

This is easily THE most unique cycling class I've ever been to, and it does not get stagnant or boring for the entirety of the 50 minutes.

I'm a ClassPass girly but they welcomed me with open arms the first day I walked in and have been kind since. They offer shoes and help snapping into and out of the bikes if needed.

Nothing compares to the energy, the choreography, the environment, and the staff of this cycling studio. I didn't realize how uncoordinated I was until I tried to keep a beat while cycling and completing different combos. I feel like a weird floppy noodle but the front row is always killing it and inspiring me.

I go around once a week for a challenge and to have some fun on a Sunday morning. The brunch ride is always the BOMB and they always have some kind of brunch snack afterward. Seriously, impressive work with this studio.

I just have to give a big ol' shoutout to URBAN Body Works for their epic service today! So, the AC decided to take a vacation, right? But the squad there didn't just roll over. Nope, they turned it into an impromptu sauna session with perks. They were slinging extra towels like hotcakes – cool ones, I might add – and tossing out free bottled water like we were in the desert. And let's not even get started on those positive vibes – felt like I was at a motivational seminar!

Then there's our ride maestro, Caroline, and her hype-woman Amie, keeping spirits high despite the sweat flood. The spin room crew was on their A-game too, poised and ready with refreshments and support.

Despite feeling like we were cycling on the sun, they made sure we were looked after and safe – hats off to them! If there was an Olympic gold for gym communities, URBAN Body Works would be standing on that podium. Honestly, their level of service is something you don't see every day. Just wanted to tip my hat to them because they really kept us cool and cared for during today's inferno spin class!

All of the noise that comes from Urban Body Works is horrible. Whether it’s 6 am or 7pm, all I hear is the thumping and loud music. This place has no regard for its neighbors and I feel bad for the other businesses moving into this building that are going to have to deal with this noise coming through those walls day after day.

One of the worst additions to the area in a long time. Music is obnoxiously loud out all hours of the day and can be heard from blocks away. Go ride a bike outside like normal people

Edit: It is extremely sad that after months nothing has changed. Even worse that you won’t own up to it. Claiming it’s another business is a really bad look on you as a business owner. I just finished the Urban 24' workshop and it's hard to put into words what an incredible experience this has been. Mauricio and his team are extremely genuine and truly dedicated to the work that they do.

I have been immersed in the group fitness industry for over 9 years and have experienced a lot of betrayal and negativity over the years - even causing me to take a step back from teaching cycle. Coming to Urban this weekend was a breath of fresh air. This is the most welcomed I've ever felt coming into a new studio.

This workshop has reignited a flame that was blown out and brought me back to the reason WHY I started this journey.

Beyond refining my skills as an instructor, it challenged me to evolve as a leader and coach. Throughout the intensive 3-day program, I experienced laughter, tears, discomfort, and pushed my limits.

Urban emphasized the importance of authenticity, vulnerability and that this is a community and we ride together.

I am leaving feeling empowered and inspired to bring these lessons learned into the world, on and off the bike.

Enormous gratitude towards the Urban team and all the work that went into hosting this workshop. If you have the opportunity to take a class or a workshop at this studio, DO IT.

Love this place so so much! The vibes and energy are absolutely unmatched here. I have been a member of other spin studios in the area and Urban is in a league of their own. As a "Maitlander" born and raised, myself and the whole Bobes family are over the moon that Urban Body works is here!!! Their spin, HITT and stretch classes provide the perfect balance for their members. Each and every instructor shows a genuine care and concern for their members goals. There is no surprise that this is the best studio in Central Florida. It shows as members drive from across Orlando to attend classes each week. As a frequent flyer of Urban I can’t be thankful enough for everything it’s done for me. From day one, I knew this place was special when a complete stranger turned around and gave me a high five during the ride.

I absolutely love this place and come here several times a week for my cycling and motion classes (the yoga is great too!!) I've been a member since January and the community is nothing like you'll find elsewhere in Orlando. They have brought in world class guest instructors, which is always a great time, but their staff coaches are fantastic (EXPERT playlist makers and constantly know how to get everyone in the room pumped up). If you haven't tried their classes yet, do it.

This place is amazing! You can spin, strength train or do yoga. There’s just a whole vibe and energy that makes you feel good.
