All I can say is WOW!!!! We are visiting from out-of-state… And they were nice enough to let us do a drop in class. I was blown away with the intentionality of each station and the progression for the preschool students and the parent/tot class. As a past gymnast, I can confidently say this is the best gym we have been in. Wish we lived here so we could attend classes full time! So fun and kid-friendly…my kids thoroughly enjoyed the class and it was a great way to beat the Destin heat. Coach Erin and the staff were amazing!

My daughter has been going to US Golds off and on since she was 3 years old. We love this gym. We want to make a shout out to Coach Kandice Menifee. She is an amazing coach. My daughter is currently taking two classes with her as well as private lessons. With her skills, techniques, knowledge and teaching approach Coach Kandice has turned my daughter into the best athlete she can be. She takes each lesson personally and to heart. If you’re looking for private lessons from a coach to help train your child for cheer tryouts or just to improve their skills, I highly recommend Coach Kandice.

The best place ever! My sister is on top of learning not just gymnastics skills but discipline, compassion and friendship. All the coaches are amazing! We had learned a lot since she started competing. I really like the way Coach Kathy is running the gym! She is the best! That’s why us gold gymnastics is growing. I couldn’t choose a better place to my daughter. All the coaches are amazing. The facility is the best! I love the energy over there …. My daughter loves gymnastics because she said is the second family and I agree! My daughter got scholarship for the first year because I was treating Breast cancer and Coach Kathy that have a biggest heart that I ever seen and loves what she do and love those kids….she couldn’t let us out. Thank you very much Coach for the help and showing compassion and love for all of us . That’s our gymnastics family! That’s how we feel.

I can’t say how disgusted i am with the owner of this gym. To belittle 7,8 and 9 year olds in both the competitive and non competitive gymnastics is such a cowardly approach. You are not handing out scholarships. These are children who hang off of every word you say, Kathy. You have no idea the impact of a coach, the words you say calling a child a ding dong, or saying to the group, let’s get someone i know won’t screw it up, to belittle the child standing at the front of the line. They are children. Have a little compassion for those kids struggling through life. This place is garbage. Don’t try to tell yourself it is anything else. I love the other coaches, but the owner needs to do better or just not just interact with the kids.

US Gold is truly a top notch gymnastics facility. I have 2 daughters on the competitive team and have nothing but great experience. Yes, gymnastics is not for the faint of heart but all US Gold coaches, Coaches Kathy, Cindy, Noelle, Neil, Trei and Kelly, are very experienced and put their heart and soul into each gymnast. I’m always amazed at their patience and dedication to the girls. Each and every coach trains the kids with 100% excellence and safety in mind. Our family feels very fortunate to be part of the US Gold family. Cheers to many more years to come. We can't say enough good things about US Gold. We have attended many birthday parties here and also the Kids Night Out. We love how attentive the staff is, always assistanting the kids to show them proper technique and procedures. My daughter loves going and always looks forward to returning. Coach Bailey is so good with the kiddos and they just love her. Highly recommend this gym for kids interested in gymnastics or if they just need something to do on a Friday night!

My daughter broke her foot on one of their Friday kids night out. Boy pushed her of the mats repeatedly and on a last time she fell down. Teenager aka coach didn’t said anything to perpetrator, and said to my daughter that she is alright. They made her to wait until I arrive without even bothering to call me and tell about what happened. Didn’t even have her ice pack. One coach said - “if I will be calling about every ice pack I’m giving to kids I’ll be on a phone all day”. But then she also said - “we are not a doctors to decide if kids are alright”.

I called them after we went to ER and took an X-ray to find out why her foot is still hurting since coaches didn’t find it urgent enough to notify me. Three broken bones and almost two months in a cast so far, and dealing with crying child that can’t do anything on her daily routine without extra assistance. Not to mentioned missed school time because the closest children orthopedics are in Pensacola.

After talking to Gym coaches and asking them to retrieve the footage and tell us exactly what happened, they said the footage showing everything perfect until the fact when boy pushing my daughter. They claimed “at this moment everything went blurry, and after a few minutes went back to normal”

How convenient is that? Highly not recommend this place and will keep telling everyone I know in town on how gym handled a situation.

The place is clean and we like the atmosphere. However, there is at least 35-40 kids to 3 teenagers that “run” the place on Friday night. They say nothing at check in. They stare at you with a glossed over look on their face and play with their hair or on their phones.

The male coach is nothing short of a complete jerk. I'm very surprised the owner (whom I'm acquainted with) allows him to speak to customers like he does. Or maybe she just doesn't know. It's the second time I've had an issue with him. Sad, bc the gym is the best gym around. The kids upstairs act like wild banshees before class but that's more to lack of parenting... these are mostly moms so caught up in their phones and gossip to realize their kids are acting insane despite signs all over the place that say no running or horseplay.

Can't blame the gym for that, however hopefully this raises some awareness on how to treat people. When the owner of the gym came to my place of business, if I treated her the way her staff member treated me, I can bet she wouldn't have done much business with me.

If you're looking for a gym to babysit your kids and coddle them, this isn't for you. They actually teach kids how to do stuff and expect them to be the best they can.
