Been waiting for several weeks for them to open. We just went. Couple dozen people exercising but door locked. The people looked at us like we were stupid. Another lady joined us outside. No one would respond to us. Not a single sign on the door. No phone number. I will never go back and all the equipment will end back at Play it Again Sports.

PART 1:
My son and I went to this gym located at US#1 and Oslo Road in Vero Beach. We told the attendant we wanted to join for 3 months and was paying the 3 months in one payment. He gave the price and we put the money on the counter. The attendant asked what the money was for. We said it is to pay the membership dues. He said they don't take money. We told the attendant that we do not use credit cards when we have cash in hand. The attendant said we could not join the gym. What a disgrace! How much more disrespectful can you get that American currency is not accepted? I will spread the word at my gym that is closing to forget going to Velocity.

PART 2:
After reading the owners reply, I called the SR 60 gym. The attendant there said they take cash, and I could pay there for the US1 gym. We went there. I explained to the attendant the offer we got to join the US1 gym. She said okay and took the cash and my driver's license. After about 1/2 hour, I asked when this would be done. She asked if I was eligible for a discount. I said I told in my introduction that I am a senior citizen and she has my driver's license to verify my DOB. She said she had forgotten that. We waited longer, so I asked again how much longer. She said she put us in the computer as month to month, not paying 3 months, AND BECAUSE OF THAT THE COST WAS HIGHER. I asked her to correct it. She said she couldn't. I said we are not paying more because of a data entry error. The cash and my driver's license were returned, and we left.

How can a business be so bad that they can't even sign people up?

I signed up yesterday for a membership Aixa Gomez club manager was very friendly and helpful this morning I went to do my first workout it wasn't crowded the atmosphere was great gym equipment is brand new and well kept the place is well cleaned the building seems to be small at first but in side I found everything I am looking for I would recommend to anyone

Excellent location, convenience (24 /7 hour access), very clean, high quality equipment, and nice people. It has everything you need and membership is very reasonable. If you live and/or work in the West Corridor of Vero Beach, I recommend this gym.

It is clean and the equipment is new. I’m happy there is a a barbell bench press and squat rack besides just a smith machine. Only thing I wish they had was weighted straight bars and curl bars. Most gyms have a rack that goes from 30lbs to 70 or 80lbs. Also, a straight pvc pipe for stretching would be a cheap addition but very useful.

All exercise enthusiasts in Vero Beach looking for a gym need to meet Delsey and have a look at Velocity 1. This newer business is a 24/7 gym that has state of the art Matrix resistance machines, along with many treadmill and cardio options. Velocity 1 is located in a convenient location on 20th street near the mall entrance with ample parking. It is clean, well lit and has CPT’s availability upon request. I encountered serious men and women athletes as well as many seniors. All were welcomed by Delsey and the regulars I met during my three week visit to Vero. Combined with SuperSet Nutrition off US 1 makes Vero an Exercise Haven in my opinion. I’ll be back next March.

If you are looking for a gym...... LOOK NO MORE! I joined Velocity 1 in July and I can’t say enough about how wonderful it is. First..... it’s family owned and operated, which is something that I truly LOVE! When u walk in they treat you like family too! Velocity 1 has everything you need to get the results you are looking for! Their equipment is top notch! They also have trainers available by appointment if you are looking for a little kick start! They have boot camps which I LOVE!!! Since I joined here I have met so many wonderful people, it’s like a family!

Stopped in here to check out this new facility as a potential place to work out. I was impressed with the amount and brand new condition of all the equipment. It had a nice feel inside and the staff/ownership were very courteous. There is plenty of parking outside and it is pretty easy to enter and exit off the side street. The pricing structure seemed in line with what other competitors offer.

Delsey was such a sweetheart when I came in yesterday to sign up, made sure I would feel comfortable and accommodated. Showed me all the equipment and amenities. I’m looking forward to coming here all the time, great atmosphere. Her youngest daughter was also there, very sweet & welcoming!
