As a driving instructor from Germany, I spend most of my working day sitting in the car, which has often led to back pain and a stiff neck.
My friend introduced me to Keno's training - he had achieved great results with the online training. Although I've only received a short introduction and a few exercises from him so far (as I don't currently have a budget for the seminars), that alone has worked wonders.
My pain is gone and I can finally balance my physical fitness with my busy work and daily schedule. It's really impressive how easy it is to do the exercises even from a distance in Germany - even without being there.
The training is well thought out, efficient and worth every penny.

I’ve known and worked with keno in a professional capacity many times throughout the year. His attention to detail and dedication to his craft has remained unchanged for as long as Ive known him.

Outside of the multitude of experience he possesses, keno is just a great person to have in your corner throughout your journey to repair and rebuild your body functionally.

Keno has delivered results for me in many ways through Fp as well. As a Former basketball player and multi sport athlete, I struggled with posture, feet, and knee issues. Even with limited time that I had to make sessions, the results still are apparent today.

I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t interested in overall health. Coming from an obese family, I was born with scoliosis and an asymmetrical rib cage, often referred to as pigeon chest. I made very different choices than my biological family, a journey we now recognize as shaped by epigenetics.

My commitment to diet, exercise, and wellness ultimately led me to pursue certifications in personal training, advanced yoga, and various other modalities. Yet, despite my best efforts, I still experienced chronic pain, especially on my right side—hip, neck, and sometimes knee.

Around 2020 I was dealing with significant knee pain from years of playing basketball and getting training that was putting wear and tear on my joints. At the time, I felt like I was trying everything and anything to get out of pain, but could not find a solution. A good friend of mine recommended that I train with Keno and assured me could fix my knee pain. After my first session with Keno, not only was I not feeling that knee pain I felt before but I was moving and feeling better than ever! It’s been three years that I started working out with functional pattern as an online client and I am honestly very happy I did. I was fighting cancer on and off from 2019 until six months ago so I had many side effects from cramps, to back pain up to problems with my nerves. After only a few session my back pain was gone and that’s why I continued. The result is fascinating to me, just to think about how less I was physically able to work out during that period of time and still getting amazing results just by doing 2 to max 3 hours of workout a week. I've been training with Keno for just over two years. I have learned so much about my body during this time, and how I exist in three dimensional space. I was experiencing extreme pain in my knees, and was getting winded constantly.

Since working with him, my knees are significantly better, and we are working for them to continue improving. My energy is up, and Ifeel better about how I move my body.

I trained with Lydia last year to help me solve issues related to my hypermobility. I'm a yoga teacher and massage therapist and although mild, I started to develop pain in wrists and elbows. As we worked together, I also realised I had other imbalances in my body that, down the line, would lead to more issues. She is so knowledgeable and was able to help me improve my hypermobility and develop my muscles (which I had always struggled with!). She is a wonderful trainer, you can sense it's a real calling. In early 2021 I made a decision that changed my life, I tried Function Patterns. When I first met Keno, I came in with an anterior pelvic tilt and persistent knee and back pain. After just a couple sessions I was already noticing the difference. I was walking and running with less pain. I was referred to Keno and FP by my sister and her fiancé, who had worked with him in the past with visible success. I had been struggling for more than 15 years with chronic pain issues that were starting to be debilitating in my daily life. I had pain in my feet, ankles, legs, hips, and lower back that caused me to feel pain and even dizziness when standing or walking for more than 10 minutes. I had a complicated relationship with exercise for years, feeling wary of movement as it usually resulted in pain for days or even weeks. After just 3 months of FP, I started to see massive differences - I could walk further distances, I was stronger, and my body was changing at a pace I had never seen before. Now, 9 months later, I have lost over 15 lbs (not my initial goal, but a crazy side effect!), I can walk for up to an hour without feeling ANY pain at all (unheard of for me for years) and my strength is increasing every single day. My relationship with my body and exercise has changed permanently, and I honestly feel that this experience has altered my life in so many ways. I trained with Keno for over a year. He introduced me to functional patterns and was the first person to tell me I could improve my idiopathic scoliosis without spinal fusion surgery. Working with Keno I saw significant muscle development, improved coordination, and improvement in both of my scoliotic curves. I learned how to activate certain muscles and became much more in tune with my body. I’ve started doing Functional Patterns protocols with Brikeno Fusha back in March of 2021. Little I can say it was a life changing thing for me. Me being a professional basketball player, Brikeno really took his time and knowledge to help me become better human being, athlete and person at the same time. Even though we worked online it was pretty easy and straight forward how to implement the movements. After every online session he would tell me what should I focus on doing the most, what are my weakest parts so I could progress faster. What I admire the most about him is that he would tell me how to do a movement/chamber because similar, position/ movement would happen in a basketball game. Then he would tell me that I should keep my feet narrow for example, and that it will help me tremendously, because most likely my feet will never be narrow in basketball game but if I’m able to do that while doing Functional Patterns, the game of basketball will become so easy for me, as it is now after almost year and half. I have really specific type of body with long arms and long legs that he even studied the best basketball players in the world, how they move to help me become better athlete. My whole life I was looking for someone like Brikeno, who has tremendous knowledge and is really serious about the stuff that he does, and knows what he does, and is precise about every little thing

I’ve played basketball all my life. Playing that much helped me become a division 1 basketball player. During that time, I had 3 strength and conditioning coaches, who all had their own approach to weight lifting, but were 100% under the conventional lifting tree. To make a long story short, I am 25 years old, I have been during FP with Keno for a little over a year now, and this is the best I have ever felt in my life. I am more athletic than I was with any of my 3 strength coaches; my body feels much more fluid, and elastic than it has ever been; my overall mental fortitude is higher than it has ever been; I hope it isn’t an understatement to say FP changed my life, for the better. I used to have constant knee pain, ultra-restricted range of movement in my hips, and terrible t-spine mobility. FP changed my life, for the better. When I think about how much of a better athlete I am, I think about how now at 25 years old, I am consistently dunking off of 1 foot, and I never could do that before. ‘I’ve worked w Brikeno for nearly 2 years. In that time I have seen my body completely change, my stamina has increased dramatically, I am generally much fitter than I was prior to our sessions, and I feel great; stronger. I am a physical therapist of 5+years and a chronic back pain sufferer for 15+ years. Over the years, I was able to manage my pain with simple techniques but would always end up re injuring my back through lifting and /or sports. In 2021, I threw out my back again - I had 2 disk herniations -L4/5 and L5/S1 and bone spurring.
I wasn't able to sleep or walk without debilitating pain and I knew it was time for alternative techniques and ways of thinking.

After following and considering FP for years, I decided to put it into action and contacted Keno. From day 1, Keno taught me a different way to think about the human body that never conflicted with what I knew through my PT education. Within 1 month of weekly sessions, Keno had me able to run without pain. I cannot thank him enough!!

Now 11+ months into FP, my back is feeling better than it has felt in the last 15 years. I have been able to return to things I love like playing golf and basketball. FP is the way, there's no way around it.

I began working with Lydia after overtraining for a marathon left me injured to a point from which I wasn’t sure I’d recover. Lydia assessed how my whole body worked together and I quickly realized my body wasn’t working as a whole. I had been overcompensating areas that were functional for the other parts that weren’t engaging.

Over a period of a few months with Lydia’s guidance I was able to teach my body to work as a whole and gained both strength, mobility and physical awareness of how to use my body for exercise in a way allows me to run pain free but also feel much stronger.

Additionally, through the training Lydia found and treated long standing issues with my lower back that I thought were unchangeable. The work with Lydia has been both cognitively challenging, as I essentially taught my body to work differently, as well as physically challenging.

Overall, it has been very rewarding to work toward such positive change and be guided by someone so knowledgeable about the body.
