I’ve been training with Miwana for 3 years, and she is an excellent trainer. She truly listens to her clients, especially when they’re experiencing pain in a particular muscle or muscle group, and adapts the workout so progress continues safely and effectively.

I grew up in Vero but am currently stationed in TX. I visit my parents during the holiday and used to go here. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be anymore. Back in 2017, I had zero issues and the staff behind the counter understood that I was military and home for only a week and were so great. They would help me out and only charge about $30 for the time I was home. Sad to say, the price had gone up and up with this last time saying they would charge me $90, for again one week, and I can't justify spending that much just to workout while I'm just home on leave. The facility is great and the staff behind the counter have always been friendly, just a little bothered about something that used to work in both our favors change over the years. I don't want to leave a hard negative review because like I said, the staff behind the counter are great. If the owner reads these, if you could implement something for us Activate duty Hometown folks, I'd love to be able to go here again because Planet Fitness isn't exactly the best.

Vero Fitness is the best gym around! The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, and there’s a wide variety—from free weights and resistance machines to cardio and functional training areas.
What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. There is a wide array of classes and plenty of class times to choose from.
I also appreciate how spacious and well-organized everything is. They keep everything spotless, and there’s plenty of sanitizer and wipes available.

I’ve been coming here for years. The gym itself is very large and has a wide array of equipment and facilities. They are however lacking in understanding basic business practices. About 6 months ago I signed up for the VIP locker room which is basically private lockers, bathroom, and sauna. It is quite expensive for what you receive but I like having access to the private sauna and I’m willing to pay the higher price.

Over the last several months they have not stocked towels in the locker room. I submitted at least 3 or 4 comment cards into the comment box begging them to have towels stocked in the locker room. I’ve also made comments to staff about keeping towels stocked in the locker room as this is supposed to be a luxury add on service. Long story short they still are not stocking towels in the private locker room. There has been several occasions where the soap dispensers or paper towels have been completely empty. Today I walked to the front desk and was informed that they have a strict limit of one towel per person when I asked for two. They request that you sit on a towel in the sauna and I don’t like to use the same towel as it gets completely soaked in sweat. I find it hard to believe with all the members and services they offer here they can not afford to pay someone to keep the towels stocked or buy some more towels…

Unfortunately the customer service and business practices are bringing this gym down and they are relying on the fact that they are the largest gym in Vero beach. I hope that no large gym franchises enter the area or they could be in trouble unless they stop coasting and actively manage this gym properly.

I LOVE VERO FITNESS !! I have been a member here a few times through the years since graduating Vero Beach High School in the late 70s. Unfortunately, life's events have occurred, and medical issues have prevented me from attending the many different classes, water aerobics, and the loads of amenities I have enjoyed at Vero Fitness over 35+ years. But, I always come back because the people are wonderful, and the gym atmosphere is an outstanding asset to our local community. They also do a lot of community involvement. Just recently, they had a Zumba event opened to the public to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. This is a great fitness club !! I haven't met one person through the years who hasn't been friendly, informative, and share their professional wealth of knowledge. Vero Fitness is a great place to work out, make a lot of friends, and enjoy their pool, hot tub and saunas, multiple areas with free weights, weight machines, spin classes, boxing, even a virtual area with ongoing videos to attend at different time schedules posted. They also have swimming lessons for the little ones, toddlers and young children with certified instructors. They even have a class that brings the parents in to work in the pool with their child. I think is so necessary. And of course there are many personal trainers who have years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. Right now I am currently enrolled in a Summer Fitness Challenge. There is just so much to do here !! Vero Fitness also offers specialty treatments like facials, fire and ice, red light therapy, cold plunge, IV hydration and many different vitamin therapies under professional medical guidance. I hope if you're reading my review, please know this is not a paid advertisement. I am a local nurse that's lived in Vero Beach forever and known by many people in this community.. I just love this place and bet you would too !! It's worth it !!

I have done personal training with Kaylan Kathley for approx 6 years and I have learned so much with a diet plan, one that took awhile to refine and commit to. My diet now and gradually gotten much better and further refined as I needed. She also helped me with flexibility and it's important, and work outs that are designed specifically to my body type. I cannot speak highly enough about her personal training skills. If you considering getting a trainer, do straight to Kaylan you won't be disappointed!

New to vero beach 12/24. So happy a Friend told me about vero fitness. I love the aqua fit in the heated outside pool. Really enjoying the HOT tub and ladies sauna too. Had a complimentary session with trainer Larry who gave me exercises to help strengthen my hips which are truly helping! Checked out several gyms and pools in Vero. I love the wide variety of of options every day of the week. There are small group and large group classes and when there are no live classes you can go into the exercise studio and take a class on video. They have spinning, boxing and aquatic classes. There are 4 indoor pickleball courts plus a sauna and hot tub and an huge selection of weights and cardio machines. Even a lap pool outdoors.

Came to Vero Beach to visit family over the Labor Day weekend. But I still wanted to get my workouts in. The closest location of the gym I have membership in is 40 mintues away in Port St Lucie, so I was fortunate to find that Vero Fitness has short term options. Beyond the convenience of being close to where we were staying, Vero Fitness has by far better equipment and more options than any other gym I have been to. There are many options that you just will not find at your average national chain gym. Things like a pendulum squat machine. I was so excited to get to use some of these machines. I think for the first time ever, I was excited for leg day, lol! All the equipment I found to be in very good condition and it was obvious that it was well maintained. While I did not personal use, I did notice some people with the personal trainers and it really looked like the trainers did a great job, showing their clients how to proper form in doing the exercises. I was impressed with that as I have seen trainers at other gyms stand by as the client was doing the exercise with form that I would consider not great. A trainer is there to help people learn how to do the exercises properly and get the most out of them, how else can someone learn? So, that was impressive to me to notice.

Also, the place is very large with just so much to do. There is a room when you first enter with machine and another room to the right of that. Then while working out, I noticed an area upstairs, so explored up there and there was a whole room of machines up there!

I also noticed that there seemed to be a lot of camaraderie with many of the members. It seemed like a place where if you wanted to work out by yourself, like I did, you can, but also a place where you can get to know others and be able to encourage one another and have a more interactive experience. People also seemed very nice, so the members seem to be a great group of people (but Vero is a town full of nice, friendly people in my experience).

Everything was very clean and I have nothing bad to say about my week of going there to workout. When I come down again to visit my family, I now know where I will go for my workouts! This place is totally worth it!

Not all of the Managers actually greet people back so that's a bit unusual.
It can get VERY crowded, especially when they have the Vero Beach Volleyball team training, be aware of that.
Somewhat clean, the changing rooms used to be a catastrophe, smelled like a Tiger cage.
A lot better what it used to be, I think a dehumidifier and a air cleaner would help a lot.
Equipment middle buts and pieces here and there BUT they have a big variety of weights and machines.

I LOVE Vero Fitness!! I am a Sebastian resident but it is well worth my drive, I been here for over a year now and is my favorite gym. I have definitely seen a huge difference on my weigh loss journey. It has everything you need ! so much equipment, such kind and amazing employees, so much to do! what more can you ask for ?? I had eight training sessions with Ty, a new-to-the-facility trainer. He is knowledgeable, clear, and observant. His observational skillset honed in on problem areas and his protocol strengthened muscle groups that assist my weak spots, making me feel strength and dexterity in areas where I’ve struggled for years. My wife and I have been Vero Fitness members Jan - Mar 2024 and we could not be happier with the experience.

I have used the 2nd floor weight area and the sauna five times per week. The condition and cleanliness of the facilities has always been top notch.

The staff at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful.

Vero Fitness has been great for my stay for the last 3 months. I use the pool exclusively for the water fitness classes. The teachers are all very good and I really like the variety in teaching styles. They give you modifications for any kind of injury and are very personable. The place is always CLEAN! The staff is super friendly!
I only have one recommendation and that would be to invest in pool weights.

Gym is great, been a member of 4 years. All the staff is friendly besides one PT Kaylan she is rude and unprofessional. There are weird members, drama that occurs at this facility and had a bad experience with a previous PT/massage therapist. Several PTs were replaced to cover up "allegations". Spent 5-6 days a week at this gym unfortunately it was time to go.

Doesn’t sit well with me that I did everything right yet when it was time to opt out, they weren’t able to waive “the last month charge” even though I went ahead of billing time. Since they weren’t able to charge my bank account, they took the extra step to charge my credit card that hadn’t been used in over a year. I was in utter disbelief. Are you really that money hungry? Love this fitness center so much. Definitely an upgrade from my last gym. The classes they offer are so good i took one 30 minute virtual class and i was sore later that day. So many hotties go here. 10/10 experience. also they have two pools AND a hot tub. Day passes for guests are kind of expensive but honestly for what this gym offers entirely it's worth it.

This place quite literally changed my life. I got all the way up to 327 pounds and decided I desperately needed to make a change. The price was more than reasonable for what’s included and I knew I needed some guidance so I also worked with Master Trainer Kaylan who helped me through some tough times including injury that set me back a little. Overall amazing place and even more amazing staff. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Vero Fitness staff is awesome! The only issue Vero Fitness has is its members who refuse to adhere the re-rack policy. I have been going to gyms now for 30 plus years and have never seen a more disorganized gym. I have seen members, men and women, who know better just walk away from an activity without putting their weights back. This causes 2 problems. People approaching the said piece of equipment think someone is still using it and go somewhere else. The second problem is that the next person has to re-rack the weights themselves. I have seen elderly people struggle with this on numerous occasions. I have also seen women who are following up on equipment that a man has recently used and has to remove a bunch of heavy plates. What Vero Fitness needs to do is enforce their re-rack policy. Maybe consider hiring someone to enforce your re-rack policy?

I've been the Tennis Director at Vero Fitness for 28 years. I workout here 5 days a week indoors and twice a week swimming. The training staff, the equipment, and the cleanliness are all 5-star and it's still a pleasure and privilege to say this is still the best workout place around........Gerry

Hands down the best gym I’ve ever worked out at! I Highly recommend this wonderful and beautiful gym. The singular basketball hoop which also seems to be broken is a bit strange considering there are designated areas for literally every other sport, but maybe they just want to avoid large groups of dudes trying to play.

Best gym in Vero Beach! I spend a lot of time in the gym and pool are. Vero Fitness staff very friendly and always helpful. The exercise machines are very modern and there are many types. Equipments are very pros. You can swim in half olympic size pool or heated pool as well and after enjoying the jacuzzi. (Towel is included) You can find a great boxing room in the gym. James one of the best trainer!

It's nice but there's some issues. The pool deck stinks. It get so hot in the sun that it literally burns your feet. I went barefoot on the black street outside and it wasn't any worse. I dunno what material it's made out of but it stinks. And it's not because it's florida, I've been to other pools on 100+ temperature days and my feet never got burned. Not even close. And currently one of the urinals doesn't flush. So there's that :p And one of the sleds has an issue where when you pull it it moves in an arc. It doesn't move in a straight line. Which is really awkward when you gotta stop pulling several times during one trip across the floor, and pick up and adjust the sled and then go back to pulling again. I get the feeling management doesn't really care. Which means the owners don't care. They got their money and there's not much better going on in this area, so why try? :p

I’m so very disappointed in the service from multiple members of staff. Asked to cancel membership in February, received written confirmation the next day and yet they can’t manage to stop billing me or refund the now five months of undue payments. I’ve spoken to multiple staff members, sent multiple sets of email correspondence, agreed multiple times to the cancellation fee. It’s a bit insane they can't get this done. My hubby had been a member off and on for twenty years and I’m wildly frustrated at the lack of assistance. Finally gave up on them figuring it out and filed a chargeback today when the next recurring payment hit. Disappointed.

Joined specifically for certain equipment and classes. I made that very clear when I signed and paid for the year with the Manager, who assured me that the program I desired was a constant at the facility. Within 2 months, the classes were cancelled and 90% of the GTS equipment was gone. Within 4 months, I had found a much nicer fitness center to join and have never been back.

I can say that Danielle is one inspiring and motivating spin instructor...
On the other hand, she is also my personal trainer. And yes, I can do the workouts on my own.. BUT, working with her, I am pushed to some limits and I have learned many new work out ideas. . The Rhythm Ride is an exiciting class that constantly changes up the music and the vibe.... Extra bonus of dance moves on a bike that goes NO WHERE......
Condition 45 class she has on Tuesday evenings is also another muscle mind bending class. And yes, cardio is included. LOL. Not to mention, I have noticed when she subs for other instructors how appreciative some people are, because Danielle explains the reason behind the moves and the weights... And what is the correct way to do it!!!!

I have been a member of Vero Fitness for a couple years now and it is by far the best gym facility in the area. There are plenty of benches, racks and machines to exercise with as well as their two full sized pools. They have both sauna and jacuzzi for recovery, and there is always a spot for you to exercise.

The staff running the operation are always friendly and helpful! And the owners are usually working on the gym and in good spirits when you see them.

This is my favorite gym I’ve ever been too for working out and staying healthy.

Amazing facility and super clean! I was a bit apprehensive about going to the gym in these times- but seriously this place is immaculate and there is so much space- I feel beyond comfortable- plus they have a full time, all day cleaning staff - so even the showers and bathrooms are pristine - the equipment is spaced out and well maintained- the pool and jacuzzi are great- great class assortment: Zumba- body flow, a new spin studio and boxing gym- some of the classes are projected on the big screen which I think is awesome- if you’re thinking twice - check this place out- I’ve been to a lot of gyms around the country and this one is exceptional, superbly clean and well priced for all you get - it’s been recently remodeled and had some amazing upgrades-

I have been coming to Vero Fitness off and on since 1983 and watched it develop into the best gym in town! There is something for everyone from free weights and circuit training to swimming and volleyball. I have made so many great friends here and love that it is a local family owned business. Katie is the absolute best! It is clean and they consistently improve and add new things and have endless classes. All the trainers are professional and know their stuff. Guess I'd have to say...I'm a member for life!

12/10 gym. I've been searching for a gym the past month that has both powerlifting and bodybuilding equipment and this gym has literally everything under the sun that you could need. Overall great - love the gym, the pool area, and more. There’s been great improvements, lots of great classes. Only downside is the cost... there’s not really a family rate nor is there a good rate offered in appreciation for public servants such as teachers, firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement any longer, and insurance is not accepted (most likely hard to do due to economy). Still quite worth the value for individual membership and great place to keep healthy!
