I'm glad I made the decision to join Winter Garden Yoga 5 months ago. I love all the instructors, they teach you how to do your poses right to get the most benefit. I work all day sitting in front of a computer. My neck, shoulder and wrist hurt sometimes, I've learned some poses that has helped me alleviate this problem. They also posted you tube videos for you to do some practice at home when you can't make it to class. Keep it up Winter Garden Yoga!

I came back to WG yoga after 18 months of trying out some other top rated studios in the area. None of them made sense to me. I was getting injured and frankly not benefiting from yoga. I was "spoiled" from my previous experience with WG yoga so ...I returned "home" and am experiencing so much more in a single month than 18 months of other instruction. This studio is so dedicated and caring in helping with your yoga practice. There are several classes to add to your yoga experience to make it well rounded. I really enjoy the yin class in helping me gain more flexibility. I have also participated in several workshops with excellent instruction and joint mobility. Several levels of yoga are offered with excellent instruction on the correct alignment to prevent injury. Come give this studio a try, know you will not regret it!!!!!

Great instruction. Lots of explanations about how poses are supposed to be done so you don't get hurt. Very patient. I never feel embarrassed when I can't get into a pose or have to modify. Love that the classes are a little bit longer than other studios so we have time for stretching, abs, and meditation.

I decided to try Winter Garden Yoga several weeks ago. I have some physical limitations and a knee injury but I wanted the discipline of functional movement to strengthen my core and the muscles around my injury. I’ve loved the classes where I’m learning to engage muscles and control body movement. Balance has been an issue and with some valuable instruction I’ve seen significant improvement. I chose to join as a VIP and it’s been a great motivator to get me to class even when I’m tired. I’m never sorry I went!

Me and my daughter have recently joined Winter Garden Yoga. We did our free week and just knew it was the right place for us. Both Brian and Karen were very nice and their classes are well thought out. We have enjoy every class that we have taken. We have even done some weekend morning classes with Kathy and love her too. They all are very thorough with the yoga poses, making sure to work on technique. Ensuring safety in the poses. We wouldn’t go anywhere else. We are very glad we found them.

I have been going to Winter Garden Yoga for 1 yr It has really helped with my back , joints and flexibility. Brian and all the instructors are so knowledgeable and helpful. The big thing they emphasize is correct set up for all the positions you get into.. I have been to other yoga classes and they move from one position to another without correct instruction. It can be so easy to hurt yourself. I also like the fact that they offer different levels of yoga and other classes to help with joints, relaxation, sleep and more. If you are thinking about it give it a try, you won't be sorry.

After just one week free trial from month with Winter Garden Yoga my life has changed for the better. I lost a small amount of weight and seen an improvement in strength, balance, and confidence. Yoga helps me stay focused and relaxed. The instructors are wonderful and share knowledge to help me improve my yoga skill. It is incredible to see the positive environment, no pressure, but encouragement to improve your own set of skill for every skill set and individual fitness level. I am impressed to see those older than me who have better yoga skills than myself. This past week I have I left the studio feeling renewed and recharged yet calm. Winter Garden Yoga is the best. I actually met Brian, the owner, a while back at a yoga class he was teaching. I loved his teaching style then but didn't live anywhere close to Winter Garden. Fast forward to a year and a a half ago when I saw a post in Facebook about it so I emailed to get more info and they were doing a month long challenge so I signed up for it. I joined when the challenge was over and have been going to 3-4 classes a week since! I feel so much better and can tell when I miss a few classes due to my schedule and I always look forward to getting back to my normal schedule! It has helped with my running as well. I couldn't imagine not having it now! The instructors are all awesome and I've learned so much in the past year and a half and I keep learning new things!!

After three babies I had no idea if I would ever be able to get my core strength back. I joined when my youngest was about a year old and he just turned three- not only did I get my strength back in my core, it's stronger than it has ever been and I stopped having some nerve problems in my legs because my posture is so much better. I went down a pants size even though I didn't lose weight because my core is tucked in and muscular instead of flabby and throwing off my center of balance.

I am almost always the least flexible person in yoga class, but that is not a problem for Winter Garden Yoga. The point of WGY is not to twist you in knots, but to make your body more functional, less painful, and less likely to be injured. They achieve this by emphasizing good form and pushing to your limits not some other person's limits. They help you modify yoga positions when necessary. This pays off in making whatever activity you do easier.

Because of WGY, I'm able to walk around and stand straighter, avoiding lower back pain. I can do indoor rowing with a longer stroke and higher power output. I can lift my tandem bicycle with better posture, avoiding injury.

WGY's been a big help to me and a good starting place for making living a life a little easier.

I’ve been practicing yoga at WGY for about 15 months now. I was so self-conscious going into my first class but that feeling left soon after walking in the studio. The instructors are so warm and genuinely caring and the studio is very welcoming and comfortable.

Today was my first yoga class. Ever. I was very nervous not knowing what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The instructor was so nice and when she would correct me on the posing she would do it quietly, so I wasn't embarrassed in front of everyone. The ladies in the class were very welcoming. I first came to Winter Garden Yoga in January 2013. I had just returned from my hometown in Hawaii where I visited my “fitness focused” family for the holidays. For the 3 weeks I was there, I went to the gym, paddle boarded, hiked, swam, surfed etc. For over a year, I suffered with constant shoulder and clavicle pain and by the end of my visit, the pain was unbearable, even after several massage, chiropractic and acupuncture treatments. I wanted to keep fit, so I thought yoga might be something I could handle. I practiced yoga off and on since I was a preteen because my mother was a yogi. As an adult, I occasionally did yoga videos at home, but this didn’t have enough impact for results. I wanted to try a real class with live instructors and a friend told me that Winter Garden Yoga had just opened a big studio on Plant Street and she heard it was good. I signed up for a 2 week introductory offer and I was hooked!

Since joining Winter Garden Yoga, I have lost fat and gained muscle. Within a year at WGY, I dropped 8 -10 lbs and have gone down at least 2 sizes in clothing. I am stronger, have better mobility and more energy.

I now have good posture... This is something I have battled with my entire life without success. I slouch less than ever before and anyone that hasn’t seen me in awhile notices the big change.

I am living without constant pain! Brian taught me techniques that enable me to do my job without injuring myself. The FYI and Kettelbell training created new habits I use at work and in everything I do. I now move with proper alignment, which builds strength and keeps me safe and injury free.

I am a much calmer person. The WGY classes and breathing techniques have given me an inner calm that helps me cope with everything life deals me. My stress level has dropped several notches. Yin Yoga has really helped with this! WGY truly benefits Mind, Body and Spirit.

All of the instructors at WGY are so helpful, supportive and treat me like family. WGY attracts like-minded people who share this good energy. No matter whatʻs going on in my life, as soon as I walk into WYG, I am calmed and leave there with a renewed energy that gets me through all the rest of the stuff that life deals.

I have taken yoga from a couple different studios and never really enjoyed it. I kept being drawn to yoga so when I saw WGY, I thought I'd give it one more try. I'm so glad I did. I am a fairly new member of the Winter Garden Yoga family, and I can tell you that is exactly what it is...family. I have battled many neck issues for nearly 15 years and have tried everything for healing except for yoga...until now. I figured, what do I have to lose? I should have said, "Why didn't I think of this earlier?!" I am nearly 5 weeks in, practicing yoga three times per week and working with Karen on my nutrition. I am feeling better and loosing fat! Winter Garden Yoga has the best instructors. They are knowledgeable and helpful. The other class members are friendly, and the studio has a relaxed atmosphere to it. I noticed after attending class for one week that my back and knee pain had gone away. After 6 weeks, my chiropractor told me I felt strong, and my massage therapist commented on the improvement in my muscles. I have lost weight, am sleeping better, and am calmer. I cannot recommend WGY enough. Check it out. You will be glad you did.

I joined WGY the same month that my husband was being deployed for nine months to Afghanistan. I knew this was going to be emotionally challenging for me and wanted to have something to occupy my time and mind. I had no idea at the time what I would be gaining by becoming a member at this yoga studio. I not only received expert yoga training but became a part of an encouraging, positive and supportive yoga family of instructors and members. Brian and all the instructors are patient and teach in such a way where there is no pain or injury. I have so much respect and trust for the whole staff. I have also made many wonderful and caring friends. I take two classes a week, beginning yoga and power yoga, and recently have started kettlebell lessons. I am down a dress size, several pounds, feel strong and healthy, but most of all, my stress level is lower than it has ever been. I've personally known the owner of Winter Garden Yoga for at least 8 years. I was so ecstatic when I learned he opened the studio in downtown Winter Garden. Brian is so knowledgeable about the yoga practice as well as healthy living; I knew the studio would be one built on solid fundamentals and not just a "come-and-go" yoga facility.
Brian and his team of instructors actually care about the transformation of their clients. Beside sharing their decades worth of yoga knowledge with each student, they also help you with nutrition, setting personal health goals, and yes, holding you accountable to those goals. They encourage you all throughout your journey.
The classes themselves range in skill level, with proper instruction being given during the sessions. I find the ambiance of the studio to be very relaxing, perfect for meditating and destressing.
If you are a beginner yogi - or an expert looking to gain additional skill, Winter Garden Yoga is the place to do it at. I would 100% recommend Winter Garden Yoga to all my family and friends.

I registered for two classes in July, 2013 and shortly thereafter I contacted Brian and Karen to ask about the benefits of membership. I could not rave enough about my awesome experience as a VIP client at Winter Garden Yoga. I fell in love right away, and was particularly attracted to the "zero pain" approach at WGY. I had been looking for a way to become active and to create the energy I felt I should have at my age. The emotional and physical benefits of practicing at WGY have been numerous. I have learned to create space for myself each week/day. I have also lost around 15+ pounds, gone down over 3 sizes and created an amazingly toned body! I really thought it was physically impossible for my body to look the way it does now! And my energy level is exactly where I want it! My advice to anyone considering WGY, stop thinking about it and register for one class today! It is the best gift you can give to yourself. I completed a 12-week personal training program with Brian, the owner. My main goal was to become more toned and gain more energy. I have a 1-year old and I desperately needed the energy to keep up with him. Brian helped me reach my goals and then some. He taught me how to use Kettlebells with great form and fine-tuned my yoga technique. The combination of his workout routine and nutrition tips really took my energy levels to a new high. I even shed 4 pounds which I wasn't expecting since I was already at my "ideal" weight. I highly recommend signing up for private training sessions with Brian. If that is out of your budget, then definitely attend one of his yoga classes. It is worth the time and money.

I met Brian and Karen last year shooting there first dvd "beginners yoga" and the experience from a non-yoga person like myself was refreshing. Watching Brian interact with his class and the patience he had with individuals was great. The studio was welcoming and clean yet simple.
