Just joined this location. First impressions everything and Marcella exceeded mine. That tells me that Workout Anytime corporate has a good training program for managers. Also unlike planet fitness which I just ended an agreement with, people are basically working out over strolling on their cell phones. I highly recommend this location to all fitness enthusiasts. Ask for Marcella and she'll take care of you.

They do not pay vendors I was asked to obtain certified copies in an expedited manner from the State of Florida 3 companies I did that. The bill is a no pay and I did not even charge much to do it.

Best gym ever!!!! Been to many in town but this one is my favorite. You got all the equipment you need here to get a good solid workout. Can feel cramped from time to time but that’s every gym. Not enough floor space for the amount of memberships(may be due to people letting in their friends).

Dirty gym. Worn, broken and damaged equipment. People filming in the bathrooms.
Tried contacting management multiple times with no return contact. Calls, emails etc.
Honestly pretty grateful, this pushed me to build my own gym! Best decision I ever made!

Love this gym. The access of 24/7 is great. I love the tanning and hydro beds. The staff 4 years ago were not my favorite. The staff now is much more welcoming with the new faces, one in particular Joeseph. He goes above and beyond at work and really cares about the place. Very attentive and I don’t have to hunt down the staff if I need something. Keep up the good work.

The bathrooms and facility is always so clean. The machines are always working and if not they are fixed within a day! I seriously haven’t joined a better gym. It's nice that it's 24 hours, it's pretty clean, but there is an obvious overgrowth of members vs available equipment (yes, even in the am). And like any gym, always too much cardio equipment where 2 to 4 could be sacrificed in order to provide a much higher demand machine (dual cables, smith machine and or squat rack). You also have the typical group of people that come in together and use 3 to 4 machines at a time together. Good luck getting your workout done before work if that's what you're trying to do.

Been going here for 7 years. For the first time EVER the music has finally become more of what people actually work out too. Joe, Savannah, and the other young guy have really made it more pleasant lately. They all 3 workout consistently, easy to talk to, and play more rap/hip hop. The reason for the 1 star is because of staff attitude, they truly are the least helpful individuals and act like they don’t care if you are there or not, not a good environment for a gym. Gym is great, never had an issue till the last few months of 2023. The amount of people has grown exponentially it feels. Any time of day is filled with 30+. So unless you feel like waiting 20 minutes to grab the machine you want or trying to workout around the groups of 4+ that slip their way in during the late hours then good luck.

FT. Walton location could’ve used an expansion ages ago. Other than that gym is great, staff is friendly, equipment is busted from time to time but doesn’t bother me too much.

Never anyone working. I’ve tried to cancel my membership twice no staff at the desk or answering the phone, and you can’t leave a message. Equipment to members ratio is way off. Manager is beyond rude. I canceled two weeks into a membership after the first person explained we would be charged 99 for canceling early, well I didn’t like the gym AT ALL. So I canceled and the next front desk staff member I spoke to said she would try and get the cancellation waived since I canceled so quickly which I really appreciated. BUT then I was not only charged the 99 but I was charged another 41 dollars because I didn’t cancel 30 days before the next payment. I worked at a gym for two and a half years and I know these fees are easily waived, this guy was just a straight up jerk who didn’t care in the slightest.

Positive reviews are probably fake. Gym looks nice, but management is terrible, nothing gets fixed. The same bench has been broke for 4+ months with an injury waiting to happen. Manager is never there, workers are forced to pick up the slack. This place needs new management.

Great place to workout. Friendly staff. The reason i don't give it 5 stars, is because when it opened it was awesome, but the upkeep of gym equipment isn't great. Stuff is starting to break or wear and it doesn't get fixed or replaced which is really annoying in a nice gym.

UPDATE:
I posted the above review and got a response from management saying they would work to repair the situation, yet it has continued to get worse. More broken equipment that is not being repaired. For the amount of people with memberships here, I would imagine that a repairman would be affordable. It's really not that hard to repair or maintain the equipment, especially the equipment that is broken. Replacing cables or seat cushions, using some loctite and tightening screws isn't that difficult. It just keeps getting more disappointing to work out there. As it continues I'll just keep taking off stars, hopefully others will follow suit until management does something to remedy the situation.

UPDATE #2:
It's been 7 months since management responded saying that they would fix stuff around here. It's getting continuously worse. I posted some pics of broken stuff. For what we pay to use this gym and for the amount of people who have memberships, it is absolutely unacceptable to have this broken equipment for this amount of time with no resolution. I've got friends that have discontinued their membership here due to nothing getting fixed. The staff below the manager try their best but without a present manager, they're at a loss. At least make one of them the actual manager since he's never here. I've taken it down to 1 star in hopes that maybe something will get done about it.

I've been a member of FWB Workout Anytime for almost 2 years. The staff is very nice and helpful. It's been an ok experience. The equipment is very good with exception to the Hydro massage tables. Without any notice, they reduced the massage time from 15 minutes down to 10 minutes. The signs still say 15 minutes. Additionally, one of the Hydro tables has not worked for the past several weeks. There is no sign stating it's out of order. It's a good place to workout but I may look around for another gym once my contract is complete.

I joined this gym when it was brand new. It was CLEAN and the equipment was new and in great shape. Lately however we have noticed the cleanliness of the gym has slipped significantly. The equipment is not being maintained properly and most of the handles and ropes used on the pulley machines are dirty, ragged and stored on the floor with people walking all over them. In the COVID 19 age this is really not acceptable. Again - cleanliness has slipped. The Roman chair has been in disrepair for months. The floors need to be cleaned. The table that use to be out front is now behind the service counter and there is no table for the MEMBERS to use. This is exactly the downward spiral that allowed Workout Anytime to put other Gyms out of business. We like the location but wish the owners and manager would get the place back in shape. We have talked to the staff at the front desk but are told there is nothing they can do except report it to management. Maybe the owner will see this and help get the place cleaned up and back in tip top condition.

They really let the cleaning slide. Sure, the spray bottles used by customers are wiped down. But all the equipment...weights. ropes, handles, etc are all over the floors. The ac vent on the ceiling near the restrooms is gray. It smells funky, and that's not the patrons. Even without covid concerns, this gym needs a thorough cleaning.

Wide variety of equipment that's well laid out and maintained. Only downside of this gym is that it's too small. If the gym gets any form of busy it's hard to finish a workout. More than one power rack, some dedicated Olympic lift bars (other than the ones for the squat and bench racks), and another bench press would go a long way to improving things at peak gym times.

I love the fact that with my schedule I can go to workout literally anytime I have a chance. You have a key badge that gives you access to the gym 24/7. Also, the bathroom is always clean. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars are minor reasons. One being the foam mats for core workouts need to be replaced and the cardio area needs mirrors so people can see their forms. They're mirrors pretty much everywhere else but it's awkward doing squats over by the free weights. Love this place and I always recommend it to friends!

Overall this gym is clean and organized. All the members clean the equiment after each use and pretty much do their own thing. You don't have to worry about people staring at you as you're working out everyone is pretty serious about their own work out....so it makes you feel comfortable.

I started back working out a couple months ago and truly enjoyed going to Workout Anytime Fitness in The Uptown Station Shopping Center. All the facilities were clean and well maintained and the staff was cheerful and personable. The Hydo Massage machine was my reward for doing the workout and the tanning beds were top of the line and worked well. I rarely had to wait on a machine and there are tons if cardio, free weight and machines to choose between. Highly recommended!!!

Spent the week in Ft. Walton on vacation and used this Workout Anytime location during my stay. First off, I forgot my keycard and they were able to issue me a new one. Thanks! Secondly, I actually like this location better than my home location. It is slightly bigger and they have additional equipment that my home location doesn’t have. Finally, I appreciated the blue towels that are used to clean the equipment as my home gym just uses paper towels. Overall...friendly staff, great location, great equipment, and super clean. I have worked out in Gyms around the world for over 45 years, I find Workout Anytime in Fort Walton Beach to be OUTSTANDING. What makes it so outstanding: Owners care and are involved, staff are true customer service professionals who take time with each and every member and guest, equipment is well maintained and is never down more than a few hours at max, clean, neat and orderly. I have worked out in the the gyms in Fort Walton and the surrounding area and find this gym to be the absolute BEST and have been a member since I was eligible to leave my previous gym over 6 months ago. As a figure competitor, active duty military and a single mom, it is very important for me to have a facility that is accessible for my schedule as well have the best most diverse equipment in order for me to train specific areas for my prep. This facilty has met my needs and more. For 25 dollars a month you definitely get your monies worth with not only 24/7 access to not only your primary location but all locations with tanning and hydro massage included and bring a guest to motivate killin that crazy workout you had planned all day... Also the staff i kno are very friendly and welcoming and will cater to your needs whenever you need it... I have a FREE gym on the base but i CHOOSE to pay to come here... That should mean something.... :)

The staff here are very knowledgeable. I've been a part of this gym since it opened and I really feel at home. Very convenient location. I'm super pleased with the layout and variety of equipment in the facility. The gym is always clean and that is very important to me. I have recommended this facility to mantra of my friends and they've all had nothing but positive things to say about the gym and it's staff. KEEP UP THE GOODDS WORK! !
