It took me 4 months to finally try a class and I was in absolute awe from the experience. Loretta is an amazing instructor, you come out from her class feeling physically and mentally detoxed, relaxed and somehow more balanced (no matter what is going on outside of the studio). She is THAT good. Flor is my favorite, tough but so gentle and her classes are amazing. Her energy is inspiring. Melba has so much energy that it’s contagious. I was not a yoga person, but I crave it now. Fell in live with this studio.

The studio used to be one of my favorites. The yoga teachers are excellent but the manager Adriana is extremely rude and very unprofessional. I was told the price for one single class was gonna be $10 and when I show at the studio it was $35 I told her I was told different over the phone, she was very rude and said the girl was gonna be immediately fired because of it . I offered to pay the $35 just to avoid any issues for the new front desk girl and she just dismissed me. I never felt so disrespected in my entire life

I arrived 5 minutes late because the GPS didn’t take me to the right place and I got lost. I explained this to the girl at the door, and she told me the manager doesn’t allow people to enter after a certain time. I think it’s really unfair that even if you pay for a class, they won’t let you in no matter the reason. I wasn’t 30 minutes late, just 5. I definitely won’t attend her class again, and I was left with the worst impression of that place.

Came in to the studio for a morning class after booking a class on ClassPass, and was told that I am not on the list. The lady in the front was rude and not accommodating at all, even when I showed her prof from classpass that I had the class booked . This was my 1st time at the studio , but the lady didn’t even offer to help and maybe offer a first class price of $10 ( advertised on website) and told me that I can just pay a $33 for the class and join. To add , i came with my wife and she had the same class booked on class pass as well. In my opinion, NOT PROFESSIONAL, and I would never go back there.

This place did not feel safe. There is often no receptionist on-site, only the teacher. We had young people in class , with a strong smell of weed, laughing throughout the entire session. Les professeurs sont pour différents niveaux, professionnelles, parfois athlétiques, parfois plus intense, moins pour moi, j’étais à la recherche d’un mix bien être et mise en forme, le yoga plus slow mouvement, j’ai trouvé mon rythme avec une en particulier Loretta, gentille elle est attentive à chacune, nous repositionne, prend le temps de bien expliquer les mouvements et surtout dans le respect de chacune. Elle nous inspire par ses paroles bienveillantes qui font du bien à l’âme et sa douceur nous fait du bien, j’ai pu évoluer dans les mouvements de yoga au fil du temps que je ne croyais plus possible de retrouver!

Place is good and most of the instructors are professional. Till you get to cancel your membership., there are so many rules ans regulations even after not attending studio for 4 months they still charging you for at least one more month by covering it with a franchise rules. Despite my reluctance to give a yoga studio a such a low rating, I must say that I had a disappointing experience with the quality of the classes. The sequences lacked coherence, there was no guidance on breathing, and they often forgot to address both sides of the body. I’ve never even seen the teacher correct a pose. The classes are truly bad.

However, everyone is really kind and courteous.

Pd. It’s also the only studio I’ve seen , that has a actual clock inside of the class. That way everyone will get distracted. Not sure why it is there but take it out! No bueno!

The studio itself has de tolerated tremendously in the past 6 months. The new receptionist is rude and unwelcoming. New policy to give you only 1 towel (sometimes a dirty one) is ridiculous. Sure thing if that would be a regular class, not a hot yoga class in a studio that does not even has a shower. For $170 a month i can take 3 towels if i want. Comments about cancellations and late policy are true. I would not recommend this place, in fact, i am canceling my membership. There are plenty of other studios that will greet you and be happy to have you as a customer. Disappointed.

I typically love this studio, however tonight there was a crazy accident on The One and we were running a little late.

So we called and we’re assured that the class would have a delayed start anyways due to many people being late.

We arrived after fighting through traffic for over 50min. We were in total 15min late and the lady at the front desk would not let us into the class. She was more preoccupied with having a conversation with someone at the front than providing ANY type of customer service.

So we left

After almost getting into 2 car accidents trying to fight our way there in the pouring rain, to be turned down so bluntly was absurdly rude.

IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF SHE CALLED US BACK TO LET US KNOW THE CLASS WAS CLOSING AND NOT TO BOTHER COMING

Instead of assuring us we were fine to come and then turn us away upon arrival. There was another girl who arrived after us on our way out.

Her words were “oh who’s at the front desk if it’s one of the nice girls they’ll let us in” she took one look and said “oh no that woman isn’t nice”

As an avid yogi and reiki master I would personally rather have 3 people who fought to get to my studio sneak in the back 15min late than be turned away at the door…

Beware- they don’t let you in if you are 5 min late. This policy is not advertised on classpass where I booked a class. It should be stated IN BOLD. I would have never booked. Miami traffic is insane, and 5 min rule is not something typical. I got lots of stress and not a yoga practice trying to make it to class.

If you have an emergency, ready to pay $15 for a no-show. And $10 for cancellation.
If you are 5 mins late, you can't get in AND pay for a no-show fee.

The manager, Isabelle does not walk you through this policy when you register. Got to be careful.

When I confused the date and made the reservation by an accident, I wanted to cancel. (-Btw, it was 3 hours ago.) She told me that there is a cancelation fee which I wasn't familiar with. I asked her a favor to wave it for this time since I didn't know. But I will be more mindful next time.

It’s been a challenging year to open a yoga studio, but the staff and teachers at YogaSix Aventura have stayed positive and flexible through it all, in true yogic style! The manager Steve has been fantastic in communicating updates, and while all of the teachers there are great, I have to give a special shout out to Michelle and Jannie! I love that I’ve been able to go in the studio (it is BEYOND clean for anyone who thinks that’s a concern), sign in via Zoom for when I’m on the road or use the YogaSix GO app for when I get inspired to practice on my own at random hours. I've been practicing yoga here at YogaSix Aventura since they opened earlier this month like it's been my part time job! The studio space is nice and clean, the location is central with available parking, the teachers are experienced and the vibe is exactly what I was hoping for as far as a good space to keep up my practice. There are a rotation of classes to fit a variety of individual practices. I have tried all six of the classes and have found my favorites in the heated, but not hot, and slower classes of Restore, Slow Flow and Yoga 101. For the more heat tolerant people who want higher cardio return, they offer hotter classes in Sculpt, Power and Hot. From beginners to advanced, YogaSix has something that will fit everyone!
