Great place to do some cardio, lots of machines for tou to choose from. The best this place has to offer is their staff. I train with Matt and Gabbi and they're awesome. I've improved my balance, strenght and resistance. I actually love going there 4-5 times a week. Great training plans if tou wanna improve some physical aspects.

I have been a member for years and love all the gyms, employees and customers alike. But as of late, I have encountered a female employee named Maria. Whenever she sees me she rolls her eyes and mumbles under her breath very negative and derogatory comments. Uopn bringing this up to other male members, they have stated similar happenings. She spends an odd amount of time in the men's room snooping, listening in on people's conversations, and going through people's belongings.
I feel she has mental issues.
While on a date with a member, we crossed paths and she stopped dead in her tracks and stared at both of us for approximately 3 minutes before leaving.
Creepy beyond belief.
Today while leaving Aldi's she was coming in and started screaming something in Spanish, causing a scene.
Again, I feel this lady is mentally disturbed and I am starting to fear for my safety and that of the other members.

I moved to Texas and I NO LONGER USE your gym in Florida or anywhere else! I called you to cancel my plan a little over a month ago and you kept charging my card. Today you probably charged $71 for the annual fee! Terrible service! I do not recommend this gym! It's terrible to cancel. The attendant told me I had canceled and apparently lied! It's $10. Do I really have the right to complain? Not really. But I will. I just won't deduct a star. It would be nice to have a little more of the equipment that people actually use, like a real foam roller or some more rope attachments for the cable machines. Parking is also a mess. I had to park on the other side of the mall last Sunday. I've been told that people have had their cars broken into outside as well, which isn't comforting. Moral of the story, I switched from Lifetime, where the monthly rate is more than YouFit is in a year. I switched due to my commute. And the point is, I'm pretty happy with YouFit.

Update: Seeing my review 8 years later, and I chuckled—I became one of those people who had MY car broken into one morning.

You Fit of Deerfield Beach offers a personalized gym experience. The facility is kept clean, and all equipment is in good working order. There are many different plans people can engage in depending on time and cost. Members can work one on one with a trainer or use the equipment on their own. Hyung is the manager, and I have done personal time with trainers Raphael and Christian who are professional and friendly. The trainers put together specific items for the members to do based on many different factors. As I am 72 years old and this is the first time I have worked out in this way it is very important that the trainer plans specific areas and exercises for me to do. Also, my neighbors, husband and wife both in their 40’s, also are members of You Fit Deerfield Beach and work with trainers.

Staff rude.
If you have a complain. they make you feel like your the problem.
Today one of the front desk young man made unnecessary remarks and and turned his back and said that's how I deals with these people. I asked for his name and said he didn't have to give me anything with a smurk on his face. I asked for a supervisor and said I wanted to file a complaint. And he said he would do one and stared at my face and did nothing. The worsed customer service.
Also the dumbbells have 2 racks on the opposite sides of the gym and always missing. You have to go on a hunt for the weights, ridiculous.
They clame people are stealing the dumbbells. They never had enough weights To begin with.
There is no proper customer service staff. The trainers don't even try to earn your business. Terrible through out.

Nice open club; decent equipment; ok value for money. This club is nice but constantly has broken equipment and broken restrooms. Amazing training staff who are very friendly and welcoming. The front desk staff is usually hanging out at one of the side tables. Most times guests, unless they are staff friends, are not greeted on welcomed on arrival or departure. This could be a huge improvement and increase membership. I came on a guest pass and the above would be a determining factor on whether or not I would become a member. I am being charged premium prices for the basic membership. The manager at the location and some of the front desk staff act like they are helping you, but it's just an act. After posting the review below, the music has been turned down to about 1/2 the volume it was previously. I assume management spoke to the front desk staff and they were told to keep the music at a reasonable level.

I repeatedly asked the people at the front desk turn the ear shattering music down and they actually laughed at me. They told me that the loud music was necessary to energize the people in the gym. I guess they got a reprimand from management.

When I walked in at 7pm tonight the music was very loud, then the front desk people (there were four behind the desk) turned it down, about a half-hour later they raised the volume again. At 8:30 pm the one person at the front desk turned up the volume to ear shattering level, abandoned the front desk and went to the back of the gym with two friends. Management should review the video to see where he went and why the left the front desk unmanned.

GENERAL REVIEW
Very loud unpleasant music! Volume is in control of the staff at the front desk who are controlling the music for their own entertainment. There are three of four people working out when I'm there who aren't listening to their own music, so the front desk employees are really entertaining themselves. 99% of the people there could care less if there was music at all, they're wearing earbuds or headphones. Management should set the music volume at a reasonable safe (not so loud as to do hearing damage) level and take station selection and volume out of the hands of the employees who play what they want to hear at a volume they want. I've been training at Youfit Deerfield Mall for over ten-years but the music is ruining a very nice place to workout. If you want to workout in a place playing music so loud you won't be able to hear your music . . . this is the place for you.

Today I am marking my last day when my foot stepped onto the Youfit premises as the management of this location caused a drama due to my "behavior" and told me to get out of the gym. Still surprised with the way management has dealt with the situation that happened. A bit more on what happened:

Today, I was at the gym having my workout and was moving from one excersie machine to another. There was a gentlemen that seemed to be stretching and planning on using this machine. I asked him politely if he wouldn't mind if we switch between the rounds so everyone would be able to do their workout while not waisting time on waiting. He became pissed about this and asked one of the staff members for help. He told that I sneaked in and started using the machine (WHAT?)
I understand that this gentleman nore the staff members are aware of the basic gym ethics. They told me that if he is using this machine and doesn't want anyone near it, it is his free will. Well, then where is my free will when I want to use it? In any normal gym - people respect each other and they follow this simple rule. I've never been in this station before where someone refuses to share the machine.

However, from here it only got worse. The actual manager of this location came to see what's going on. He told me that I was yelling.... which was not true. My voice might be loud, but I never yell. He also took the side of the gentlemen, even though that gentlemen called me a jerk and an asshole ( a few times)
He disregarded that. Where I'm from - people are being punched in the face for words like that. And that is what I told this gentlemen, since I won't allow anyone to disrespect me. And after that, the amazing manager told me that I need to leave the gym. He told me - Get out. Who is he to talk like that? Am I dog? Is he paying me for any service to behave that way? Awful...
When I asked him, why aren't you asking the guy who called me an asshole to leave? The only answer I got was - get out.

I think that Corey (The manager) is a "great" manager, with his amazing thought through actions and great problem solving skills he was able to lose 3 customers in one day (all my family will never use Youfit again) which converts to around $600 annually. Plus, I can guarantee that they will lose more as I have a few friends that after this situation are planning to cancel their membership as well. Due to unacceptable actions of management.

But hey, I don't want to take the good away from Corey either. He does care about his customers, since if he wouldn't tell me to get out, I wouldn't be able to find a wonderful gym right next to my house. He is an "incredible" manager.

But all jokes apart, I think this is an unacceptable behavior from management. I felt like Corey was waiting for all his life for the moment to be able to say those words - Get out. Otherwise, I don't see any other reason why this action was appropriate. I think this situation could've been handled in a different way where both customers would have ended up being satisfied. But no, Corey took a different approach. Customer satisfaction isn't his priority for some reason.

Lastly, to be fair, let me rate this gym, since I am leaving a review:
Service: -5 out of 5 (based on experience with dear manager Corey)

Assuming this is the YouFit Headquarters, I will begin my smear campaign here.

Without going into much detail on my personal life, I had to freeze and unfreeze my membership one or two times over the course of a year and a half. Every part of this process was botched in some way by YouFit--surprising at the time because it was, after all, their own system, but unsurprising now because I know what kind of people they put in corporate leadership. By "botched" I mean that my membership didn't start when I first set it up, then erroneously double charged, and then not properly frozen when requested, and so on.

Typically, I try my best not to attribute malice to what is likely stupidity, but this one stumped me. On the one hand, I could not have been more clear in my email requests, and the responses reflected that the person on the other end had at least a 6th grade reading level... so not stupid, but malicious? On the other hand, the HR team at YouFit seemed to jump at the idea of losing my membership along with the memberships of my friends and family, who watched the unprofessional behavior from the sidelines and opted to get out while they still could. At all other gyms, losing $200 to keep a steady stream of monthly income is basically always the logical choice, but I guess that was a conclusion the YouFit think tank couldn't quite reach (not malicious, but stupid?).

All in all, the gym itself was adequate, but the membership process, both on the way in and out, was done with minimal accomodation or transparency.

Very predatory Cancellation policy, I have been going back and forth with ABC Fitness which is the people that handle the memberships with Youfit Health Club. I have cancelled with them months ago, to then get calls that My account is going to collections. After their representatives led me to believe my account was fully canceled. Then i call back and we reach an agreement about paying off a remaining balance (that should not have been owed if they had properly canceled my account), fast forward another two weeks I keep getting messages that there is something wrong with my membership and i call in again after making unjust payment and my account is still not canceled. It seems their membership handling department deliberately keep you a member to rack up fees and threaten sending unpaid balances to collections. Very upsetting to say the least.
