Best Gym, was always at home here! Cannot believe it's closing, after 6 years, really hurts a lot! Will miss my great staff family and gymgoer family! Friendly staff, quiet location. The young man who works the front desk is super friendly and always willing to help out with whatever inquiries that come his way. If you’re a beginner looking to get started, this is a great gym to begin your journey. I’m definitely your typical “meat head.” With that being said, this gym isn’t filled with a million juice heads hogging the weights and throwing plates around. Friendly atmosphere, good people. I give it a 5 out of 5. 👍

I was in this Gym a year and a half ago. I canceled my membership and they sent me a collection. I had to pay $274.62 to stop reporting on my credit for mismanagement of the gym.

I had not read the reviews that they do this or continue to charge the monthly fee.

The strange thing is that they started texting me to sign up again.

Here's my gripe with this location: poor maintenance of their equipment.

Management does a poor job at keep the equipment in acceptable conditions. Case in point, both leg extension machines. The shin pads have been wasting away and one of them is almost at the metal of the machine. That doesn't happen overnight and there's no way management just found out about it. When I told the attendant at the front desk they said "a ticket was created" but there's no time frame for them to get the replacement parts.

This is disgusting and a health hazard. Those pads are breeding grounds for bacteria. MRSA and Shingles can be easily transmitted through those things. They're better off putting the machines out of service instead of leaving that health hazard for paying customers.

They've also been missing the individual handles for the machines in the middle of the gym. They only have 2! Thank goodness i go when it's not packed. This is something i have personally brought up in the past and was told that other customers have complained about it. This was almost 2 months ago.

I don't understand why management is dropping the ball on this. They have rules and regulations that they rightfully expect members to follow. Well as paying customers we also expect a level of service that they're clearly not meeting. How expensive can these pads or handles be? How long does it take them to get these items in once a request is placed? Even if this process takes a while, why do you wait until these items get so deplorable that you have to be called out on it?

I’ve been going to this gym for about three years now and I love it here. I first started going to the 79th street location but got put onto this location and I haven’t looked back ever since. It’s always clean and as long as you go before 5pm , the gym is fairly empty. On weekends it’s even emptier. This place is definitely bigger and better than the 79th location too.

It’s 12-31-21. The time is 6am. The hours today were from 5am to 4pm. It’s been an hour that I’ve waited and no one has come to open up the doors. This was a waste time. I WAS a new member. I sign up my wife for a personal training session with Marquess, but she was not able to do this sessions due to her bad health. FYI trainer was aware on the 1st interaction and also per text.
as per doctor, she cannot workout due to her spine and brain issues.

I reached the personal training and he point out the manager as responsible to refund the money. i called several times and manager Sianne was never available... and then i was told that she was on vacation.
i left several messages with the counter assistant, but manager never return my calls.

my wife called today, and still the counter assistant Nico could not pass the call to the manager, because she is busy. she request to talk to someone above her and it was denied this information. Nico delivery a manager message saying that she is not able to refund any money, only she could put it as a credit on the account.

with this type of service do you really want me to come back as a client??

The gym is clean and the service seems to be really good! The only problem is that the customers service doesn’t know how to approach situations where member use the circuit machines as they were using any other machine in the gym. A lady was sitting in the circuit machine for 25 minutes and started to yelling on me because I was waiting for her to finish! I understand that some people act this way however the front desk came and asked me to back up as she could not rush her, she could stay for how long she wants there even if there is a rule o the wall showing how the station works. I wanted her at least to explain the lady, because I couldn’t , she couldn’t listen, only screaming! 😱 kind of scary.. stuff could be better trained and prepared to deal with situations like that!
