I’m being forced to pay a debt on a membership I twice tried to cancel in writing, and I have the email receipts to prove it. I reached out to cancel because YouFit failed to provide the personal training services I signed up for. Despite explaining this and following up multiple times, they ignored my cancellation requests and kept charging me.

Now they’re refusing to cancel my membership, trying to collect payment for a service I didn’t receive, and I’m being forced to pay dues even after trying to cancel. Absolutely unacceptable.

This experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and a complete lack of accountability on YouFit’s end. I’m warning others so you don’t end up in the same situation. Be careful before signing anything with them. Even if you follow their process, they might still try to trap you into paying for nothing.

I joined this gym, in January, of 2025, because it was the closest gym to my house and also happened to be less than half the cost of LA Fitness, down the street, with much better parking available. It was strictly a matter of convenience, and affordability. I chose the no contract option, at $14.99/month, and a $60 annual fee, charged the first month, whether or not you stay a full year. In the 39 years I've been working out, I can't recall ever having encountered a friendlier staff, at any gym I've been to. They have all of the equipment that I need, and the place is always clean. The only thing missing, that I would like and use is a spa or sauna, but that's a lot to ask, for the price. LA Fitness has both, but again, they charge more than double what this gym does.

All of that said, and considered, I am currently looking at other options, solely because of their horribly limited weekend hours. You can't open late and close early on the weekends, and expect that to work for most working people. Right now, it's Sunday early evening, and I'm sitting around, in the daylight watching it rain, and wishing I could be at the gym, but it closed, at 6:00! That's just ridiculous.

EDIT: I have been a member of this gym now for 10 months. I am unimpressed. The only redeeming quality is the group fitness classes. This gym is NOT clean. The locker room smells and never looks clean, the machines always have sweat on them and the group fitness room ALWAYS has hand prints on the mirror and badly needs the floor swept. The air conditioning hasn't worked in the group fitness room in months (yes plural), and despite the group fitness trainers complaining, and my complaining, nothing has been done. I can't even get the manager to talk to me about it and am now convinced he is dodging my calls and in person requests to talk to him. It's so hot that I and several others have had to step out before we pass out. It's a Zumba class, not hot yoga.. They don't even have yoga. They also don't offer Les Paul classes as advertised online. They have less classes now than ever. Only star given is for Brittany and Kelly who teach group fitness classes in the evening, and Janet who teaches during the day but has subbed at night and Emily who also has subbed at night.

I’ve been a member at this gym for several months. They don’t clean or maintenance their machines. The workout mats gave me a rash on my forearms…they’re disgusting and falling apart. Should have known better. Cleanliness and quality equipment shouldn’t be too much to ask of a gym. Staff are friendly. Good variety of machines. Overall, I’d recommend going elsewhere, someplace that cares enough about members to clean and maintain its equipment.

Be advised you cannot cancel your membership depending on the level you select. The contract is ambiguous and if you cancel you will still be billed and then sent to collections if you protest the charge. Go to a locally owned gym where you can understand the agreement.

I see other folks having the same issue I am. I really liked the gym, I liked the employees and I liked the location. I was only here for a short period of time. Apparently, I signed a one year contract, which I never would have done (knowing I was only here for three months) had I known about it. I suppose there’s a possibility that I just misheard or misunderstood, but I highly doubt it. From what I recall of the conversation, it was “cancel anytime”. That’s what was so appealing to me. Now, I have to show proof of my move and pay the gym another $50, on top of my monthly bill. I would look for another gym, unless you’re going to use this gym for the full year term. Learn from my mistake and read the fine print.

Hate that I'm leaving anything but a 5 star review, because the gym itself is great, and I love the staff there (Will is awesome). But I needed to cancel my membership. The front desk said they couldn't do that, and told me I needed to call a 1-888 call center. After a 30-minute conversation, the call center said I needed to call the gym, then the gym said I needed to call the 1-888 number back. I fully planned on signing back up with this gym when I got back in town, but after this experience, I think I'll try another gym first.

I love the Zumba classes. Tuesday and Thursday with Paul and Saturdays with Kelly, these two deserve 5 stars. They are my favorite part of this gym. Kelly also teaches other classes on Monday that are fantastic as well and I take them when I can. I've had the chance to try the Glutes and Core with Christine on Tuesdays and Thursday. It was fantastic. There is an early Zumba class at 11 on Mondays and Wednesdays. I haven't been able to try the class at that time but Janet filled in on a Saturday, it was so much fun. These instructors make me love going to this location. Fill in Zumba instructor Britney is great too.
They still have a broken arc trainer but now we know they are waiting on parts. At least we know now. It's been 3 months though.
The best staff member at the front desk is Will. He always greets you with a smile and says goodbye when you are leaving. Others do as well but he stands out.
With these 5 star staff members, it brings up the overall positive experience you get at this gym. Even with things that need to be fixed, updated or repaired, it seems like they are working on improving the gym.

It’s nearby and convenient for me to get to between my work schedule, which is the only reason I’m a member. Otherwise, it’s overcrowded with limited equipment, and the staff at the front desk are extremely rude and stuck up. Half of them don’t even acknowledge you when you scan your membership . I’d cancel in a heartbeat if I didn’t live so close. But then again, by reading other reviews, it’s quite the process to even do that. I wouldn’t recommend it here.

I was shopping around for a gym and decided to utilize YouFit's free 3 Day Pass. Upon entry, I was escorted to an office where this guy kept trying to sell me a membership. This is a business; I get it but it would have been better to allow me to have the experience first. He kept going on about how the guy in the office next door was the owner and that he could get me a deal if I signed on the spot. Very car salesman-like to the point of being creepy. By the time he finally got that I wasn't signing anything 2 seconds after walking in, I was so turned off that I walked out and never came back. You don't have to try so hard. If a product or service is good enough, it'll sell itself.

I went to this gym with the intention of signing a month-to-month contract due to my health condition. I was very specific with the salesman, Fabian. He assured me that it was not an annual contract and that I could cancel anytime with just a 30-day notice. I have a witness who can verify this conversation.

After a couple of months of paying without attending due to my health, I decided to cancel. However, when I called, I was told I needed to visit the gym and find the person I signed up with. Despite my repeated attempts to contact Fabian, it took weeks to finally locate him. When I did, his tone changed, claiming it was a one-year contract and he was doing me a favor by canceling it. However, he insisted I come back the next month after making another payment to finalize the cancellation.

After complying with his demands, I returned to the gym only to find Fabian absent. The staff at the front desk refused to cancel my contract, despite his earlier assurances. When I mentioned Fabian's promise, they dismissed it and claimed they couldn't cancel.

When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they were busy and nothing could be done. This experience revealed their disregard for customers' well-being, feelings, and financial situations. They exploit situations to maximize profits, showing no empathy or understanding.

Martin is probably the most encouraging and motivating person I’ve met. He’s always willing to help out and lend an ear. I have been a member of Youfit for the last eight months at the Orange Avenue location and have nothing but good things to say. The gym has an abundance of cardio and weightlifting equipment as well as a really nice turf area for hiit workouts. The gym is always well kept, the bathrooms and showers are always clean, and the equipment in all eight months that I have been there has been of high quality and has never been broken or out of service. While all of these things make the gym great what really sets this location apart is the amazing staff. The gym manager, Mr. Martin, greets you every day without fail with tons of enthusiasm, and a smile. He and the rest of the staff make you feel comfortable, at home, and like a part of a community every time you walk in the door. Considering the gym can be a very intimidating place, the staff makes it a good spot for beginners and advanced levels alike. Additionally, if you were looking for personal training, they have amazing personal trainers at a pretty affordable price, Edwin and Rosemary, have truly brought my fitness journey to the next level by simultaneously challenging and encouraging me. I would recommend Youfit and particularly this location a hundred times over.

Youfit is a good gym for the money. As grandma always said you get what you pay for. They have good equipment, however there seems to always be a wait for the only leg press machine in the gym. This can also be the case with a lot of the other machines as there is just one set of machines for everyone in the gym. Free weights and other types of machines seem to be their thing. They have a great free weight area.
Their focus is a lot on getting you to sign up for classes or personal training which of course cost extra. However, if you just need a treadmill, a bike, a StairMaster, an elliptical machine or some free weight stuff. This is the place for you. Membership start at $10 per month for a year-long membership with a $49 activation fee or 1499 per month if you want to go month to month.

I had the pleasure of visiting Youfit in Orlando, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the cleanliness of the facilities. The floors were spotless, the equipment was well-maintained, and the entire gym had a fresh and inviting atmosphere.

During peak hours, the gym does tend to get busy. However, I found that during odd hours, it was much more comfortable and less crowded, allowing me to have a peaceful workout session without any unnecessary interruptions.

I've been to a lot of gyms, and this is one of my favorites as my regular gym. It's got great equipment like a hip thrust machine, variety of smiths machines, squat tracks w bumper plates, hex bars and deadlift platform, an area for training with sled, battle ropes, punching bag, kettle bells, etc.

My favorite thing is people come in to work out... not have a video/photo session. People are polite and typically wipe down equipment and rack weights. The staff is so friendly too.

UPDATE! 2/15/23: This location just installed new plate loaded equipment at this location. The equipment is dedicated to back, legs and chest. This is now a great place to get a full body workout if you’re into lifting heavy or light!

This is a very nice gym. Nice staff, nice equipment, nice members. General manager Rich will take good care of you, he and his amazing staff are kind, helpful and always available to help with any questions. The facility itself is on the smaller side but it is extremely clean, surprisingly open and spacious. The equipment is well maintained and always working properly. The leg press was inoperable for a few days but like any good gym, there were options and the leg press was back up and running very quickly. You won’t find a lot of intense Hammer Strength type equipment, but then again, with any good gym, there are many other options like plenty of barbells and enough space to use them. I’m getting some of the best work outs here lately. Doesn’t seem like anybody gets in anybody’s way either and I hardly ever find myself waiting for anything simply because there’s always another option available. Great Wi-Fi too.

This gym won't stop calling my number, even after I've cancelled. When you're a member they call you and try and sell you on personal trainer services, and when you leave the staff continues to harass you.

This YouFit location is super clean and the staff is super friendly! The machines are great and I’m happy there is free weight machines as well. I’ve been going consistently for about half a year and it’s been awesome. I’ve never had any issues!
If you want to use the lockers, make sure you bring your own lock and that’s all.

Not exactly your typical $10/month gym! I’ve had a membership here now for a little over 2 years, and within that time period they’ve done two pretty substantial improvements to the gym. 1st one was sometime around mid 2021, adding a turf area with all kinds of functional training equipment, then just last week (Feb 2022) they brought in a whole bunch of new equipment for strength training. While talking to one of the guys, he said they will also be getting another new cage for squats, bench, etc. Beyond the physical improvements, I gotta say that most of the staff here are pretty great too! I see their cleaning staff out on the floor almost every time I’m there, and one of their trainers even took a minute to show me how to change up one of my exercises in order to get a better workout. Locker rooms are pretty clean. Front desk people are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Overall, really couldn’t ask for much more for paying $10/month.
