Really well maintained gym. I've been going to this location for almost a year and never had any major issues. Great, working equipment. The only complaint I have is for misplaced dumbbells and attachments that could either be imposed on the visitors to put back or distributed better by the team members.

The equipment needs updating for sure. There is only one curling bench. The cable weight machine uses the old school bars which are hard to grip. There are better newer machines that should be bought to compete with the newer gyms The staff are mostly all younger plastic attitudes. They allow people to carry off weights. You find weights everywhere. Staff just leaves them. They do pick them up eventually. You see weights in the machine only area! They mostly stand around talking to each other or texting. This gym has great potential if these issues were addressed. You can get a good workout with what they offer. The one older cleaning lady is cleaning constantly. She cleans everything. I don’t see anyone ever helping her. Staff has plenty of opportunities to do so. Put your phones down. You got time to text. You got time to pick up and clean!
I’ve seen staff doing more than standing around texting! Yeah! Some not all have started picking up the weights that have just been left by patrons. There is just a machine area which uses no free weights. People take and just leave weights. There is no reason to have free weights there. Supervision is needed or post a sign. Do not remove free weights from its area. There’s still not enough improvement to change the star rating.

The worst Gym ever. They have trainers selling packages with not experience, they sell you the staff but they don't explain to you nothing at all. Also the trainers are not reliable at all, I got a 7 months personalized trainers sessions, I could not schedule more than 5 and the trainer always has events in his life and could not do them, I understand that things happens but, all the time? They still owing me 13 sessions. Anyways, the new manager, who is very nice and transparent, gave me the info to send an email to corporate to ask the for my money back in a charge we did not authorized they keep saying you signed you have to paid, no money back....I told them I already paid the 7 sessions I am asking to give me the money back for the not authorized charge since I did not get proper info....No answer....Very unprofessional and they rather to loose customers than suck it up the mistakes than they allowed the personnel to do. I am out of this Gym that don't care about the customer but their money. Disgusting!****************************I already sent 2 emails and you guys keep telling me is not a solution that I am not getting my money back on a charge that was not plan and also all the think was misinformed. What else do you want me to send you in the email. The whole thing is a joke! I am very disappointed of the people and whoever is in charge!

I have been attending the South Pompano YouFit gym since September and the experience has literally changed my life! I particularly love the silver sneakers programs and now religiously attend them. The instructors are excellent and the entire staff are very friendly and approachable. This is a very clean and well-maintained gym and I will surely remain a faithful member for years to come!

I hope people take the time to read this... Pompano location on Atlantic and us1... I wanted to finally get my wife to try working out for the 1st time... got a membership for her under my name, my email, my account. She had a friend of hers helping her , basically showing her how to perform certain exercises so she didn't hurt herself.
Gym staff said personal trainer wasn't allowed.. I said she's just showing her few things and actually doing the exercises with her... I asked to please stop making a big deal over this, she was basically working out with her. They were like well if you pay us an extra $10 pee visit we will allow it, which is basically illegal, they are asking for more money to allow someone to show another person proper form. They took that extra money and it went directly into their pocket, wonder why the GM isn't there anymore. I said if 2 guys walk in and 1 spots the other how do u know 1 isn't training the other ? You don't know, you can't know. She was only going twice a week, they insisted on us paying extra $10..so we did.. what they were doing is highly illegal and unethical in my opinion. We wanted to cancel and for some reason I got a call from a lawyer saying if we didn't pat past due amount it would affect our credit... instead of fighting an impossible fight, I said I would pay to keep from this fake ridiculous thing off our credit.. I reached out to corporate and the response I got from email, couldn't find a phone number which is ridiculous was talk directly to the manager, I said it's abt the manager so talking to him would be stupid and wouldn't get me anywhere. Bottom like is when u have a company that doesn't have a corporate number to make the slightest complaint, don't do business with them.. I will be in social media posting the horrible experience this was and only hope few people read this and decide to join a different and much better gym... sorry fir the long post, but definitely necessary. They stole money from us and made us a story to make us pay more or be thrown out of the gym, which would have been better. Youfit should do more to listen to the guests they have and not just let it fall on deaf ears...

I've been going to this gym for some time and have had a relatively good experience but recently I wanted to get my partner signed up and try a guest pass but they were insistent on me paying for the day. I wasn't going to argue so we paid it. Some of the guys working are very personable and some arn't. I would strongly suggest just better customer service and if they wanted to do business in the future they would be thinking a bit longer term.

I am not the type of person to write bad reviews; however, after the experience I had, I feel compelled to do so. The staff is unprofessional. They repeatedly called me for training sessions, even after I told them to stop because I wasn’t interested. They don’t greet customers when entering or leaving, and I was often referred to as ‘Bro.’ The only friendly interaction I had was when they informed me that my card on file didn’t process for their annual membership fee. The only reason I joined was that it was the closest gym to my house. I overlooked the dilapidated equipment due to the convenience of the location. Needless to say, I canceled my membership, paid $180 (or whatever their cancellation fee was), and joined LA Fitness a couple of blocks away. I paid the full year upfront and was guaranteed that rate for the life of my membership.

I have been to this Youfit gym for a year or two. An I can say this is a nice median size gym. You meet people of all ages through out the day. Everyone, as far as the people, that come to this gym are really nice and well mannered. Most of the time, people usually unload the weights and put away the dumbbells. I, myself, don’t usually have any issues with anyone. If there was ever a machine that I wanted to use and someone else was on it. I would usually ask the person how much longer they have and their response would normally dictate my decision. An most of the time if that person has just started, I don’t mind going to a different machine or waiting on the person to finish. Sometime I even work in with them on that machine, if he/she is comfortable with that. So long as I ask first. An most of the time, people are welcoming/unbothered with it. That is usually how everyone’s mentality is here. No worries, no problems. The front staff is always able to accommodate me with any issues or needs that I have with them. They usually unload weights on a machine and put away the dumbbells, if people just leave their weights there. The Youfit trainers are normally busy helping their clients with whatever personal body goal they have. Overall, nice people plus nice staff equals nice gym.
