After my gym at west Brandon closed without notifying us, I find out they sent all our info to this location. I went in to get my membership cancelled after several weeks of no communication, first warning should have been that no one, including all of the workers, was wearing masks. Then the lady at the front seemed nice and helpful, only to find out from corporate that she did nothing to actually get me cancelled, just said she did. Now I have to go to the closest corporate Youfit that’s about 40 min away from me just to get this taken care of. The lack of attention to safety (masks) and not actually doing what they said they would do makes me glad I’m canceling..

I supported this place and kept paying my membership dues, even when the COVID19 had them closed for quite a while. My son is going to the "Y" for the summer and it's economically more feasible and more convenient for my family to join the "Y" as a family and so we joined the "Y" and cancelled my YouFit membership......THEY charged me a $10.00 "processing fee" to cancel my membership. I'll Never support them, or recommend anyone else to support them either.

We've had a membership here for a few months. The best part about the membership is the access to personal trainers. I've been working with Lex for a couple months & she is great! My results have been amazing & Lex has been flexible, encouraging, and a vital part of my success so far.

I was interested in getting information about a gym so tried youfit gym. I was meant by the staff who took me on a tour of the gym and were knowledgeable answering all my questions. I ended up joining the gym and have been there for over a month now. The gym is very clean and the staff are always available to help me when I need it.

This place is horrible I was harassed by a female staff and management about making a payment that I Faithfully make every year in full. I was four days pass to on my payment and they want to give me a hard time about when I'm going to make a payment. I felt targeted, and they showed no compassion about me being a member there for the past 3 years. What happened to quality customer service.I believe customers are not always right but in this case I was not wrong I simply stated that I will make a payment as soon as I can, and I was expecting them to allow me to work out and make a payment in the very near future. The management and staff service was in the toilet and I certainly did not feel like a valued customer I will be looking at Anytime Fitness for my next gym membership.

Ok gym for the price but doesn't have the options of other Youfits. I have had several issues with billing, seems to be a common problem wth members as I talked around. The manager always says he'll fix things and they still come up.

Management is my largest complaint. There's a lot of talk about club improvement and new equipment but in 2 years only a power rack has been added. Our "annual" fees pay for maintenance and upgrades but there are no upgrades and the same machines always have the same issues or don't work. I've reported issues several times but the manager doesn't ever get them fixed. TVs don't work, toilets overflow or don't work, cardio equipment down, etc There's a lot of talk about upgrading but no action.

Front desk staff brags about drugs and curses in front of customers. If you just want a cheap $10 club, it's ok. But there's a lot better options. I only go because its close to work.

Rude Meat Head Staff:
We arrived to ask questions and the young lady who greeted us was delightful and engaging. Once we sat to learn the payment concept, a staff member was over that young ladies shoulder over selling. When we were leaving a hot head employee asked "are you signing up," we said "not sure yet." He said, "did the two colors confuse you." The first thing I thought was, if they gave that treatment to the many Elderly that live in this area, I'd have to go put someone in there place. I make plenty of money and don't need a discount gym. I would make my choice based on my families desires for a gym. Needless to say, they were not a fit for us and I'd pay extra money not to deal with meat heads that would make me go to jail if I saw them be rude to an elderly person.

Clean, music is not loud, has both Machine and free weights. The free weight area is quite open so you will not feel crunched. There is a view of the tree lined parking lot out to lowes. But even when you are In one place for a while the cardio equipment has tv service on it with audio if you bring headphones with you.

Small location but I like it because it's very clean and not as busy as other locations I go to! Staff is friendly as well. A small complaint I have is that the morning front desk worker works out instead of attending to the front desk. You have to scan your own card in the morning. I've never been to a location where the desk staff is paid to workout and use equipment while guests are there.

This employee literally turned all the lights off at 8:01 because they close at 8PM. Literally while people were exercising. I'm appalled.

Not to mention- gym AC has been set to 78 degrees every time I'm there *except* days the manager is in.. the tanning beds are dirtier than I'd like, and they had placed me in one without a functioning fan (impossible to tan w/o overheating). Manager said it's being replaced this week, but.. yeah.

I wish I stayed at planet fitness, honestly. If they didn't have limited locations I would. Youfit is good for no judgements but I'm really not okay with my lights being shut off while I'm exercising so this chick can clock out faster. Find another way to close shop.

Had membership, left the state for work for 6 months. Continue to charge me for membership and personal training, I reached out to the gym and asked to have my account frozen and was told i couldn't be refunded for the time I couldn't use, no biggy.

Continued to charge me for personal training, promised me they would refund the money, weeks later get charged again* still without a refund, and was told by the manager that his notes say that they would continue charging me and i could double up on my personal training upon returning, which is not what we discusse. He very clearly told me I he would work on getting me refunded the cost since he remembered the conversation with me to freeze my account several weeks before that, but it would take some time. Now Im being told it will take another few days to figure out and im not even sure they are going to refund the nearly $200. This is affecting my ability to pay my bills and actually afford food, I thoroughly regret ever signing onto a membership with this establishment.

No one makes fun of no one. Everyone does there own thing staff is amazing equipment is great for all type of work outs. Bathrooms are clean! And i have a trainer now and when my intake was done they took there time walked me through the process. Help with food ideas etc I have never been able to afford a trainer before it was to high! But here it is affordable so i was able to. I have been to other gyms before and other people would make you fill uncomfortable or smirking etc. That is not done here they offer yoga,zumba also. please come try this gym you wont regret it

I intended to cancel my membership, so when I was charged the annual dues I made a point to go in. I was informed that my 40 something in annual dues, monthly bill and 10.00 cancellation fee would all be assessed. I did not dispute the annual dues, but I did communicate that since I would be paying those plus another 10.00 and an additional 10 for cancelling, that would be over 60.00. I asked if they would please wave either the monthly bill or the cancellation fee as I was paying them the equivalent of 6+ months of membership. They were very inflexible and didn't mind of course taking 60.00 from someone that would no longer be attending. I felt like I was being ripped off and they didn't care. I just perceive it as unethical and bad business practice in general.

I've had the worst experience with this company from a billing stand point, they don't email you like they promise they will, they are inconsistent when they run your card for the monthly fee, the mgr says onething and then does something completely different, we an agreement that he would freeze my account til a certain time and he would stop billing me and then the very next month bull me anyways, I call for the refund and they act like, I'm from another country speaking a foreign language and then the final straw was he agreed to close my account, and refund me the monthly fee, and he couldn't even see that thru.
The staff is hit and miss, some are there for you and some are just uneducated kids who don't belong in the job to begin with.
The Mgr tries to do things to make you feel better and then doesn't do what he previously promised.
This place is a joke and a complete waste of time and they obviously are so desperate for the monthly fee money, they can't refund anything they say they would.
I would go to another club this one is not worth anyone's time or money.

Youfit is great! The plan we have gives you unlimited tanning and working out while bringing a friend. (Which is great for my BF and I since then we can have one membership and go together!) It is the best value I have found for a gym membership.
