We love Zone Cheer All-Stars! Every gym wants to win, but not all gyms care about the whole athlete. The owner and team at zone make sure our children are cared for mentally physically and not just in their sport. They focus on skills, building teams and raising athletes. I don’t think you’re gonna find a family like this anywhere else. We are so thankful to be a part of this gym for 6 years now!

I’ve been part of this cheerleading program since I was 4 years old! I’m now heading into my 14th season here at zone and this gym has been like a second home to me for most of my life. The coaches are incredible teachers and mentors who genuinely care about EVERY athlete’s growth both on and off the mat. They’ve pushed me, supported me, and believed in me through every challenge and every victory. The athletes here are like family to me. My daughter has been an all star cheerleader at zone since 2021. She could barely do a cartwheel when she entered and now she’s working with the awesome tumble coaches on her full! My daughter has been training at Zone since 2017 and even if I tried, I couldn't get her to leave this place! Zone is her 2nd home. She quite literally has grow up in this gym. She has gained not only cheerleading skills, but also life skills. The way she handles adversity, mistakes, failure, and coming up short is with grace and poise, but her successes are celebrated with humility and a true sense of pride. I give all credit to the staff at Zone for this. They focus on character building, accountability and teamwork. Mental health is a HUGE focus at this gym - they do not beat down their athletes when they are struggling, they build them up and celebrate their progress. I see my daughter staying here until she graduates in 2031 without a doubt.

My daughter has been going to zone for the past 7 years and I just wanted to say what an amazing experience it has been for her. She feels like this is her second home and family! The coaches have always listened anytime we go to them with a concern. It's all about communication and I feel they take this seriously. This is a true sport so like my sons football team when you are not giving it your all and the coaches know you can do better they're not going to sugar coat it and they are going to do what they can to make you better. Very disappointing experience at Zone Summer Camp

I do not recommend this camp. My 5-year-old daughter arrived excited on her first day, but there was no one to greet her or help her as a new camper. The second day was exactly the same. When I asked one of the coaches for help, he responded rudely, saying that “a kid like her shouldn’t be at this camp” because “she didn’t do anything the day before and was alone all day.”

I was told I couldn’t get a refund and that the only option was to receive a credit. After insisting, I got a partial refund — but I still lost over $200 for something we didn’t use and didn’t feel comfortable with.

There was a total lack of organization, empathy, and professionalism. I expected much better care for such young children. Very disappointed.

Both my daughters have been here, and both have sad stories. My youngest is still going, but we'll be moving to another Gym after our commitment has elapsed.

Dad's, pay attention here. Your daughters will be held back if they're on a prep team. Zone does not care about the prep teams. They will do poorly at competitions, and your daughters will be upset after you watch them give it their absolute best. They won't understand, and you'll be left to explain why. The coaches don't care because the owner doesn't care, and the gym will cut into practice times and regularly show you that they don't take it seriously. They will consistently give you signs that the growth of the child is not important to them. As a parent, I don't put that responsibility on Zone but it is important to me and therefore this will be the last year my youngest daughter participates at Zone.

If you're casual about cheer and ok with this, this is the place for you.

Many of the other parents who are upset are not posting a review like this because feedback given directly to the owner leads to their child being neglected as retaliation. I've seen it and my 8 year old daughter will experience it as a result of this review but other parents need to know.

My daughter has been attending Zone for a year and a half for tumble and cheer classes. The rate at which she has acquired new skills has been impressive and I am constantly telling people how impressed I am at with the staff and coaching techniques. Recently, my daughter had a "mental block" and I was again blown away at the attention and care the staff placed in getting her through this. We have attended various other programs at different facilities for cheer and tumbling, and the difference in attention to instruction I see is night and day. If you're looking for a place that your athlete can grow his or her skills, even without being a part of the all-star teams, this is hands down the place to go!

My daughter has been at Zone Cheer since March of 2020. She's currently in her second season of All-Stars and is having a great time! She's made lots of friends (I have, too) and has the best time on trips for competitions. Her coaches have been wonderful both seasons, but this season 14 they have been especially encouraging and nurturing of my daughter's skills. I only wish I could actually see the tumble track from the parent viewing area. It's fun to watch her learn new skills and I sometimes can't see her unless she's on the floor.

Wouldn't recommend going here. They charge your credit card whatever amount they want and when they are on vacation and the place is closed they still charge you for that day. I spoke to Amelia and she was very rude and didn't care to listen to what I had to say either. Glad this is my child's last year there!

It's like mean girls at this place. My daughter went here for 2 seasons and this last year has been horrible. It's a toxic environment and the coaches do not do anything about it. The coaches actually promote this behavior. The coaches say they don't allow this behavior but do nothing but blame the victim when it's brought up to them. I do not recommend sending your kids here unless you want their mental health to decline. The owners are rude and snobby. My daughter never felt welcomed here and she ended up dreading going.to practice and she really loves cheer. I recommend going anywhere else this place is really bad.

Over the past 2 years there have been a lot of changes at the gym to try to make it more professional and structured - some changes good, some not so much. I think lot of the "coaches" are not actually qualified to be teaching the classes they are assigned to, I'm not sure what kind of training anyone actually goes through. The owner is nice to your face but will rip your kid apart on the mat; if something goes wrong at a competition, she's quick to assign the blame and publicly shame a child even if it's not their fault. I have watched the owner JESSICA verbally abuse multiple athletes on her comp teams - it's no secret why there are very few long-time athletes at this gym. Gym loyalty does not outweigh verbal abuse in my book. One coach (MELANIE) was even removed from her ability to coach by the FSASF because of such abuse. She no longer coaches all-star there, but she still teaches tumbling at Zone. When learning new skills, they don't focus on technique, just on getting the skill, so injuries are common among many athletes. It's very apparently that becoming a profitable gym has become far more important than building good athletes or putting together winning teams. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, ASK QUESTIONS TO REAL PEOPLE, not staff or members they recommend that you talk to. I would NOT recommend this gym, there are too many others around here to consider.

We took our TM pop Warner cheer team to practice our routine before our local competition.... And our team performed their routine for a couple of Zone's All Star teams (teenagers) AND THE OUTPOURING OF LOVE SUPPORT AND CHEERING FROM that team was beyond our expectations. They made our little girls ages 5-7 feel so amazing and proud!! I can't thank them enough. Not only are they a great cheer association BUT THEY'RE ALSO RAISING our teens to be respectful, kind, supportive young adults. I nanny a little one who is coming up on her first year at zone. When we first started coming she was very nervous and shy, the coaches and entire staff were very patient with her working on getting her comfortable. This is THE BEST competition cheer gym! The owners, the coaches, the entire staff are like one big family. They promote kindness, self-confidence, safety, training and supporting each other. All of the coaches are absolutely top notch. Recently moved to the area and was looking for a gym for my daughter. She had previously competed level 3 gymnastics (2 season) and youth cheer (3 seasons) and was nervous about finding a gym that would take her because we missed tryouts during our transition. The staff, coach’s and other athletes have truly welcomed us with open arms. It’s like my daughter never missed a beat. We love our new gym and my daughter couldn’t be happier. From a consumer stand point the staff is truly here for the athletes! Zone Cheer All-Stars has been an amazing environment for my daughters from all aspects for the many years we have been there. But above all else, SAFETY has ALWAYS been their number one priority - whether it is tumbling and stunting safety or general safety rules regarding entering and exiting the gym. Take it from a cheerleader that actually went there. This place is very snobby & i was there for 2 months and i dreaded every practice. I've been an all-star cheerleader for 8 years and i've never not liked a gym as much as i did this one. The athletes were not nice towards new comers and neither were the coaches. You could definitely tell coaches had favorites which is very disrespectful. I would recommend another gym for your child.

The heart and soul of this gym is in the staff and it is their true dedication to the world of tumbling, cheer and dance that makes this place #1!
