I’ve joined the gym for the second time because of the proximity to my home. Initially I cancelled because when I signed up I was told the gym was going to have upgrades and a sauna put back in. A year later no sauna, I left wanting to join another but my work schedule and distance of the next option did not work for me. I cancelled and rejoined maybe a week later, it rubbed me the wrong way when the rep at the desk asked the owner if he would waive my admin fee (i didn’t ask for this nor did I ask if it was discussed it was volunteered info) since I’d already paid it and had only canceled a week ago and he said no. Ok cool, but guys I went to use the shower closest to the back door and omg it was horrible there were dead roaches big roaches in the shower and the curtain is filled with mildew. The gym itself smells like the carpet that is clearly old and smelly and there are always dead bugs laying around. I will be canceling again preferably immediately, I have pics in my other phone I will add back to this review. I don’t like the gym at all and will just allot time to commute to a cleaner more updated gym.

I started my journey with this gym in April 2024. Overall, it’s a great little spot with plenty of equipment to keep you motivated, and its close proximity to my home made it an ideal place to work out.
Unfortunately, I’m moving out of the area due to military obligations. When I approached the front desk to cancel my membership effective 1 July 2025, I was told to call a 1-800 number. After doing so, I followed their instructions and uploaded my military orders. A representative got back to me and said my membership would instead be canceled on 30 September 2025. 😂 Uh, no.
I’ll be leaving the state by mid-July, I won’t be here, and I definitely won’t be using the facility. I responded and made it clear that my membership will be canceled as of 1 July, or we’ll escalate the matter.
What started as a great experience has now been soured by a ridiculous cancellation policy. Just a heads-up to anyone thinking about signing up: if you ever have to leave, especially for military reasons, be prepared for a headache.

So after another round of email exchanges, they sent their final email stating that my membership will be canceled as of the 19JUN2025. Mind you, I’ve already paid for the month. I’m tired of fighting this. They can have the residual cash left on the table. I’m just glad it’s finally resolved.

I have had a membership at this facility through the different names probably close to a decade. Well I moved and so now I am about 20 miles away so didn't want to continue membership and drive so far. Not under a contract only monthly they will not just stop drafting payment or waive that based on moving out of the area for 2 additional months. Norm in industry is 30 days and some give a waiver for a few reasons 1 is usually if you move so far away from current location. Front desk person whom I had to track down didn't really care either just stated it is the policy based on the contract. I started that membership when that location was still American Bodyworks so don't believe that would still apply nor had I been given a new one either. Not exactly thrilled with the customer service towards the end either especially after that interaction.

Was a member here for about 6 years when it was American Body works, went to renew with new owners, they tried to charge me 30 a month I ask for a discount if I paid in full for a year owner said No. So I left. They had the doors open AC turned off and pollen blowing in. I am a member at onelife 30,000 sqf bran new gym for 20 a month. Also a member at youfit 10 a month. I fell sorry for the people who have to pay these prices and don't even get Air-conditioned place for there highest price gym membership in the area. Vary disappointing to say the least.

I like working out here. Its super convient for me. Never too crowded and always clean. My only issue is the 24 hour access key doesn't always work. Sometimes when I go at night I can't get it. Staff doesn't seem to be taking it seriously but a 24 hour access is what we pay for monthly

I go to AF around the holidays and summer every year and it is a very good gym..Old school private gym set up with the new school 24 hour schedule. Good and focused members, no bs.

Horrible! We paid for a full year membership before the old one expired. After getting the run around from the owner for 2 days, we finally asked to cancel the new membership that hadn't started yet. He refused and stated that they don't do refunds, even if the new membership didn't start yet, and went on to say that he even charges 2 additional months for monthly paying members that try and cancel as well. Ridiculous to not refund me for something that hasn't started or been used. They also have so many roaches in there and it's always leaking inside when it rains.

Although the equipment and floors aren’t cleaned often (if at all) the toilets are always clean and tidy. The gym itself is great. Overall appearance is great. The equipment is functional and there is a wide variety to choose from. Being open 24/7 is a major plus. Prices are pretty good.

Love this Place,
Atmosphere is filled with a purpose of working out.( when I was there). The young lady at the desk was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and pretty. The equipment is just perfect if you know what your doing. Location could not be better, it's close to publix so you can pick up nutrients and go home to feed you face and muscles. Gump said it best ;

I have been a member of this gym for about a year and have liked it until COVID-19. Because I have a couple of pretty severe health issues my doctors have told me not to go to a gym to work out. I went in and explained this and requested to cancel my membership at least until a vaccine is found. I was told that there is a 60 day cancellation policy. So, although I continued to pay my membership dues while the gym was CLOSED because of the virus, I now have to pay two more months of dues that I can’t even use on the recommendation of my doctors. Bad customer service in my opinion and I will not be back.

This gym is always so clean! Has tons of machines and lots of room. Never too crowded so you can get a full workout in without interruptions. Pretty much this gym is the place to be if you want to be in shape and healthy!!

They have a bible on the counter when you walk in. This seems amazing knowing how loving and caring the owner is, he is always in a good friendly cheerful mood and is always happy to assist you in any way he can. This gym and the staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. I highly recommend this gym.

They have a bible on the counter as you walk in. This doesn't seem appropriate for a gym. My wife an I were immediately put on guard by this. Also a bit on the pricey side.

I've only been to the gym twice and enjoyed each experience. I only attend the Zumba classes which are fun, creative, and definitely allows you to feel the burn!!
The facility doesn't offer child care but still having the option to bring my children and have them in a separate room but visible from the Zumba class is a plus!!
