We’ve tried several local Anytime fitness franchises. This gym is clean and well maintained. It is consistently staffed by friendly and knowledgeable folks who clearly like what they do. They work hard to create a fun atmosphere for a workout…seasonal decor, joke boards and Friday bananas. They also give back to the community by collecting items/fundraising for various groups like local schools and veterans.

I'm so pleased to have found my fitness home at AF Macedonia. I've never been a comfortable gym user but the team at AF Macedonia has changed all that for me in just a few short weeks. I felt welcomed from my first visit as everyone from Owner Heidi to regulars greeted me warmly. I've been thrilled to find the entire facility to be extremely clean and well maintained. Plenty of equipment and variety. Lots of group classes and variety there as well. Personal Training with Karen is helping me find new ways to maintain and improve my fitness journey and get me off the treadmill and into a world of other options. Everyone here truly shows they care about their clients/members. We tried 4 other gyms, all closer to my home in miles, and didn't find anything like the team and service here. Happily driving the extra miles to the smiles AF Macedonia serves up!

All the staff is professional and passionate about helping folks exercise. The owner is kind, friendly and very encouraging. Classes offered each morning ( except Sunday) with incredible high energy instructors. Something for everyone on various levels. If you want to workout on your own it is relatively quiet in the afternoons with quick access to the equipment. The facility is very clean from the machines, weights, carpeting and the rest rooms. Also, so nice and cool inside during these scorching days. I'm glad I found this gym close to my home and enjoy my workouts here.

Perfect set up, with plenty of cardio equipment, clean and bright. The shopping center passes the vibe check even later in the evening/after dark if you’re concerned about safety. As a new member, first thing, I noticed, was the dedication to cleanliness throughout the gym. I’ve witnessed the staff continuously cleaning and sanitizing the gym. Current members also contribute and normally sanitize equipment after they’ve used it. I joined this gym in June 2023, after looking around at other gyms and so glad I did! The classes are great with experienced, kind, and fun instructors! So it’s been way to long since i’ve been consistent in the gym. Walked into Anytime Fitness in Macedonia and instantly felt at home. The Staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. It’s been about 3 mos now and the encouragement I receive is priceless. The classes are nothing short of amazing. I can honestly say every single trainer is gifted. You will see every age here from 18ish to 80. I promise you should check it out if you are trying to get back in or, stay in shape.

Great gym. Been going here for many years. I’m usually there between 7:30-8:30am. The old owners were terrible. Heidi, the new owner has completely turned the place around and is doing a fantastic job at running the club. I used to go to a different Anytime that’s a little closer to my house, but I drive an extra few minutes to this one instead just for the atmosphere. This Anytime is so nicely decorated and always clean and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I love the variety of machinery and the owner is basically everyone’s gym mom. This place is awful. I had a one year membership that I completed. I called the company that runs their fee collection ABC finical. I did EVERYTHING they asked me to do no matter how ridiculous. Actually I did it all TWICE but somehow they keep losing records of my communication. No one who works at the actual gym cares of even attempts to help get ABC to do the work they have hired them to do. One person literally told me -that’s not my problem - went back in the office and slammed the door in my face. I have been hung up on after being on hold for 45 plus minutes with ABC multiple times. I am now four months past when my membership should have been over and I am still paying fees and membership dues for a facility I cannot use. No one on staff at the gym even pretends to care and the ABC company is shady and obviously purposefully “losing information” in an attempt to just keep charging people even after the complete their obligation. it’s a complete run around and they don’t even attempt to hide that. They are now telling me I have to submit the request for a third time but until then I have to continue to pay even more months of membership dues and fees. So even if this time - the third time- they actually do their job I still have to be out several
More Hundred dollars on top of the two hundred I have already had to pay after I cancelled in April and they “lost”.

Do not join this gym, the membership os terrible the gym does not offer much and is way more expensive than surrounding Gyms. I am trying to cancel my membership but the location is telling me I have to call abc financial to cancel and the ABC financial is telling me I can't cancel over the phone I did the time over two year I'm no longer in a contract I should be able to cancel anytime I would outside of my contract. Whatever you do, don’t get a membership. They are awful at keeping the gym clean. Never have wipes to wipe down machines and treadmills and elliptical hardly work properly. Over priced and being ripped off. Problem here is that they have no competition to compete against so they can charge you whatever they want. I’d rather join Planet Fitness where they only charge you $20 instead of $60 a month and have so many more amenities and resources for relaxation. Don’t get a membership here. You’re better off either working out at home, at a local park, or at a different gym. Such a rip off. Also, don’t use their water fountains. It’s full of fungus and I ended up with strep because I had to fill my bottle.

Don’t ever get a membership here. My wife and I signed a 2 year contract when we first moved to the area and we used the gym occasionally. However we both decided it wasn’t worth it after two years and we didn’t renew our contract. I went in and told them I didn’t want to continue and I turned in our key fobs. At this point I don’t even have access to the gym. Seems that’s not good enough. Not only are they still charging me they have actually double charged me this month and refuse to address the issue. It seems they can decide to renew your contract without your permission. A verbal statement and turning in your fob doesn’t count as “cancelling”. The price was already ridiculous considering the lack of equipment and amenities but we paid for the convenience of the location and hours. Now I can assure you I will never join an anytime fitness again and I will tell anyone who will listen about the unethical business practices they employ. Stay away.

Anytime Fitness as an option for a gym is usually worth it, with the exception of this location. This location is hands down in need of the most love and attention from a new owner that I've witnessed in any of the 10+ locations my family has been to. We were members of Anytime for over 4 years, not in contract, then cancelled as a result of this location and joined Lifetime Fitness. If you join Anytime, choose a different location.
