I travel pretty regular for work and go to a lot of different Anytime Fitness gyms. So far this one has to be my favorite. To me it has an old school gym feel. If I lived in this area this would be my home gym and I've been to both in this area.

DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN THE 1st week I enrolled my car was hit by someone inside the gym, the owner is only there in the morning and will talk to you nicely to nice that she fails to mention your signing a contract! The equipment is not up to date also the parking lot is not safe at night you call to explain your concerns and it’s not her problem. STAY AWAY!!

I go to this gym, I love going here on browns bridge but they need some curtains on that big window near the stair-master, I always catch old men staring through there and it’s very uncomfortable especially at night.

I've had a very bad experience at this gym the owner which is an old white lady very rude and nasty I can't even believe God can bless someone like this to be fortunate to even purchase a gym and own a public building like a gym where tons of people goes and have to feel so uncomfortable til it made me go to my car and cried I felt like she was very judgemental towards me while I was talking to her she kept looking me up and down she was lying back to back about signing up she even denied the simple fact that someone have already told me over the phone that I can come in and sign up with my silver sneakers membership she lied and said there's a wait-list for silver sneakers members which IVE NEVER EVER HEARD OF THAT BEFORE EVER I stated to her well someone over the phone told me to come in and I can sign up and bring my I.D and silver sneakers members I.D number and a $5 charge for a key she brushed me off and said that can't be true then she asked me why I want go try the other gyms out in the area I said ma'am this gym is closer to me she kept asking me where do I live at I'm like I'm here to just sign up not be asked all these questions as if I'm in a interview or something this old lady is sick and rude I've never felt so uncomfortable dealing with a human being old at that. The truth of the matter is she did not want me joining her gym for what reason I don't know. Maybe because she hate black people young black people at that I just don't understand why she treated me like that. I'll never do no one like that.....God going to punish her.

My membership was canceled because my gym closed and I had a very negative experience when I visited the location I’d originally joined. There was no staff present and when I went to clean the equipment after using it, there were no paper towels.

I talked to someone after my membership was canceled and she let me know I couldn’t keep my cure t rate because that was for people who’d been “loyal all those years” so I reminded her that I’d joined shortly after they’d opened and considered myself one of those loyal people.

It worked out for the best as I found another gym with more locations and better amenities (including tanning and a free guest anytime) for less than she was offering for a basic membership without tanning.

The store in Dawsonville closed unexpectedly, so I went over to the Gainesville shop thinking I was ready to cancel since it was a much tougher drive. But the owner/manager was very professional and personable, the place was super clean and well organized. I did a work out today/Sunday and the cleaning guy was there keeping the place up again. A+++ rating.

If you like going to the gym with not so many people this is the gym to go and the fact you can go anywhere totally cool! The staff here are nice and the gym is kept clean. I’ve never had a problem here.

On their website for the Gainesville location it has an option to try the gym for free for a week trial. I signed up for it and i was given a call from someone at the gym which offered me to come in. I came in and told her that i was wanting to do the free trial which she gave me a tour around the gym then was giving me the prices to sign up for a membership and pretty much ignored me when i brought up the free trial I declined to sign up. I went to the Anytime Fitness in Braselton for the free trial which i signed up for a membership there after it was done. I once tried to use this location in the.afternoon but the gym was too packed.

Hello, I was literally followed around the gym by the maintenance or whomever the guy that fixes equipment. Very unpleasant experience and very unusual. Literally no way possible for me to do anything out of the ordinary with the equipment that I was using at the time! A total JERK!

Poor customer service. Called gym 4 times over the course of 4 days and left two voicemails with no calls back. Finally when I got someone to answer, a women who claimed to be the owner had an attitude and kept talking over me. I love Anytime Fitness but this gym is not a good representation of the customer service I’ve experienced with other locations in the past.

Very anti-consumer contracts. Small hole in the wall. Barely enough room to walk between equipment. One bathroom per male/female. Awful parking lot. Not enough plates. 2 employees total. Plus side they are never too busy. I wonder why

So I cancelled my membership. But she kept charging me and she charged the wrong account. Hope she has. Better luck with money in the future

I'm a 5am-7am guy. I'm usually in the shower by 6:45ish, leave by 7. The only issue is that there are a few men that get in the showers around 6:35ish and are in there till 7. There's been numerous times I've started to wait at 6:40 and not get in the showers till after 7. There needs to be a 10-15 min courtesy time limit.

The gym overall is decent... you get what you pay for.

I hear people complain about the price and the contract obligations, but in the end that is your choice. Since it is technically a corporate gym all the "fees" and payments are handled by the company, not specifically the owner. Whatever extra money they make from contracts goes to upkeep and renovations because the owner/manager is responsible for the gym itself.
Since I have been a member they have fixed all the holes in the walls caused by members and put up a few new coats of paint. They put in a deadlift pad, bought new plates, updated the bathrooms and repaired some machines. There are a lot of little things as well.
This is a good middle of the line gym where you can lift pretty heavy and make noise. They have a set of Olympic bumper plates but it's only about 350 lbs worth ( plenty of regular 45's). Plus two racks for your squatting and bench. I think the free weights go to 110 lbs or 120 lbs. There is a decent sized room for warmups, stretching, plyo, box jumps and other body-weight work as well.
The manager has always been super nice to me and if you show her respect then she will too. You just need to understand her personality. Just do not get on her bad side, you will regret it. There a lot of problems I have seen her handle better than I would that's for sure. Her son is always nice and addresses any issue promptly too. So, all in all it's decent gym with a good vibe. I have worked out with the morning group, afternoon group and night guys. The morning is pretty quiet and easy going. Afternoon folks are louder and pretty respectful. The night guys are fun, loud and like to lift! I don't speak Spanish but we all still have fun and workout together.

Best gym in town! Owners are absolutely outstanding! Very nice and welcoming people. This is 1 of the very few gyms that stays clean, has well maintained equipment, and has wipes to clean the equipment. Has a fridge u can put your drinks in, and a snack machine. Has plenty of machines, treadmills, and racks.

I signed up for a membership earlier this year, then I had a family member pass away and I was called up to active duty all within the same week. I called the gym and spoke to the older lady who manages the office and she refused to let me off the contract because I signed for a membership. This gym is very unprofessional, rude, and she questioned my integrity even though I have documentation to prove my status in the military.
Now, 7 months later, I’m still trying to fight with this gym in order for them to release me from the contract. This is ridiculous and by-far the worst gym I have ever went to!
DO NOT go to this gym! They will cheat you and treat you poorly!

The variety of equipment looked accommodating and the member traffic seems very low.. now I see why.

"no cancelation fees" because they won't let you cancel.. "MAYBE.. if it's a medical situation"
$49/mo - 12months| $35/mo - 18 months (Locked in like a lease... for a gym)
$25 enrollment fee (shouldn't that include an access key since you'd now be an enrolled member?)

I smiled as Phylis continued to insult Planet Fitness, my shape, and my budget.

She implied in a very brash manner that she has better things to do and that it's almost 6 o'clock ("staff closing time") if I'm not serious about my fitness like her current members(because I asked questions before signing.)

As much as I wanted to join because of the low traffic and accommodations, the subtle delivery of binding contractual obligations, unwillingness to be flexible, and bitter customer service guided my every working sense right back out of that particular facility.

I've been a member there for over a year and had have no issues with staff or gym members, not too long ago I asked the owner a question on how often things got stolen there , He assured me and I gladly thanked him and went about my work out. Ten minutes later or even less him and his other co-worker who I believe is his mother both stood there wanting an apology for the question I asked. I apologized and was very confused as to why I had to. Next morning I receive a voicemail stating that my membership is canceled, I believe it was my question of wanting to know if anyone has ever stolen anything from there because I was a little iffy on leaving my car keys in a cubby. I have told all my friends about this situation and would definitely never recommend this anytime to anyone, if asking a simple question pertaining to the company makes you cancel a membership then I no longer wish to return to any Anytime Fitness.
