I agree with the reviewer Jahhsi. That ill mannered, disrespectful, aggressive woman is the reason I stopped going to this Anytime Fitness. I actually cancelled my membership there, via certified mail according to their policy. They have not acknowledged my cancellation, and proceeded to continue to charge my card. I tried calling this location but I get messages stating that their voicemail is full. There is no email to contact them either. Going over there physically is not an option as that aggressive woman is also combative. I would be putting myself in harms way to step foot in that establishment, as it is unsafe.

The Women who regularly sits in the front office is extremely rude, unprofessional and has the worst attitude.
She should not be the face of that location, very ill mannered!!
I tried to call and make a payment and she responds by sayin “oh god” in a bizarre manner and then hangs up the phone thrice on me, then accuses me that why I’m hanging up.
I respect the owner very much and would advise to hire better equipped staff.

I think anytime fitness is amazing gym and that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars but compare to other gyms the price is just a little bit to high compare to other gyms, coming in at 29.95 a month with it being even more when you first are enrolling and that’s literally the only con about anytime fitness other that this gym great if your looking for a gym that has a lot of locations and that is 24/7.

Whoever owns/runs this gym…LACKS. I decided to move on to another gym, and gave Anytime staff the 30 day notice. They explained I still had to pay for the following month, and would have access to the gym until the end of the month. Immediately after my payment went through, they cancelled my membership 🤔 I’m like ok, why ask for a 30 day notice with pay if you can just cancel it immediately? Why not just immediately cancel in the first place? Instead of having me pay for a month I can’t use. If your gym needs donations, just ask!

Needed to cancel my membership with Anytime Fitness Lawrenceville. Sent them an email stating that. Finally got someone on the phone who told me "yes we can cancel your membership and update your information." Today I get a call to say I will need to fulfill 50% of my obligation if I cancel. When I asked how much 50% was I was told $300+. When I joined I was never told that I hD a 2 year contract, or that I had yearly assessment fees (that's another situation), but all of a sudden there is fee to cancel the membership.. So I asked for a copy of the contract and it says cancelation should not exceed $100. So read the fine prints or you may end up paying more than you should.

It is interesting that they check the cameras properly to see if the members of the gym enter with unauthorized guests and children, however they do not check them to see that the same members of the gym throw, hit and damage the establishment, very good service by the way,

This gym is a little smaller than most, but it’s usually not crowded and has a great selection of weights, machines, and cool alternative type stuff like ropes, bells, and a speed bag and heavy bag. The staff are the absolute best; very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The gym is also very clean and the showers are GREAT.

Small gym but with all the necessary equipment to workout well. They even have a heavy bag and gloves. The biggest benefit is that they are open 24-7 unlike most gyms in the area. If you are a first time visitor, you do need to come before 7 PM as the front door is locked and you have to get in with a key card.

Most of the cardio machines are broken, the TVs are all stuck on Fox News (can't even turn most of them off), and the music is all obnoxious screamo nonsense.

Don't work out here or at any of the other anytime fitnesses in the area. They're all in similarly terrible shape.

This is my favorite gym so far. There's never much of a wait on machines, it almost feels like a private club. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's always clean, there's a wide range of equipment. The staff is willing to help with fitness and health questions. Feels like a second home.

This place is too small and their goal is simply to take your money all you have to do is “join” then when ever you want to quit they will charge you some money to close your account and they still gonna send bills to your address even though you are no longer working at the gym then they will add up all the bill and send it to debt collectors........

I join Anytime Fitness about a month ago. I also signed up for Challenge to Get Fit. I was assigned my personal trainer Alex. I must say that from day one Alex ensured me that we would get results with the right amount of work and commitment. I worked out 3 times a week without Alex, I have to add that I also have a knee injury that limits what I can do, but Alex worked around that. The only pain I ever felt was the ache of my muscles getting stronger. By week 3 people noticed the results and wanted to know what I was doing. Alex is wonderful! And I thank him for pushing me to achieve my goals!

Pros: has more than enough bathrooms and an unnecessary tanning room which is never used. Has an area for some yoga, kickboxing and dance classes.

Cons:
Only 1 Treadmill works and even that one has no tv has major issues with the stop rope which keeps coming out and stopping your run!
No AB twister machine which is essential!
No space for real boxing or kickboxing practice.
Much of the workout equipment is just for display and is completely pointless as no one ever uses that equipment hence the 7 non working treadmills.

I will monitor this gym and if things improve I will give it another rating but for now you’re better off at any other fitness thats in the mile or two radius from this one!

This is an excellent gym in the area. The people make it even better. Never crowded and has EVERYTHING you need to workout regardless if you want to do boxing, weightlifting, cardio, tanning etc. Facilities are always clean and the members are always happy. Richard and Alex are hard to miss if you ever come to this gym. They will dedicate everything they know to helping you be successful in your journey regardless of your end goal for gaining muscle, losing weight, toning or just feeling better overall health wise.

I always said I’d rather deal with the mafia or the IRS then a gym membership. This situation proves my point.

I purchased a membership for a FRIEND several months ago which the gym staff handled cheerfully over the phone in a matter of seconds. NOW that I want to cancel it they tell me I have to email them ( after I called the gym TWICE and was told there was nobody there who could help me) so they can SEND me a cancellation form which THEN I have to complete, SCAN, and email back to them. THEN presumably (if they decide to do me a huge favor) they will cancel the membership AFTER taking another payment out of my credit card.

24 hours later I still haven’t had an answer to my email. Stay tune for more adventures with trying to get out of a gym membership.
