Honestly wth!! I just joined, paid the initiation fees and all and they just randomly announced today 1/3 that they are shutting down for good with NO info on how to contact the owners. Will be calling corporate tomorrow to get info asap on how to get a refund on the fees charged. What a shame that scam tactics were used and i was not informed it was litearlly shutting down upon joining.

The equipment is outdated, broken and is never fixed. I have had a very bad experience here and the staff does not care no matter how many times I mentioned it to them.
Also, the new owner is just in it to make money, his own words!! So make sure you read the cancellation policy before you sign the contract and don’t trust a word that is said unless it is written down.

I would recommend that you avoid this gym like the plague. The gym itself is fine on the inside but if you ever decide to leave the gym, good luck getting them to stop charging you for the membership. I tried through several emails to have my membership cancelled and not only did they renew it, but they charged me an additional 100$ randomly on top if it.

I sincerely hope this gym changes the way it operates and starts treating its customers with more respect. If you are looking to start at a new gym, please take your money to a place where you will actually be treated fairly. This gym went through an ownership change in the last year sometime and I suspect another one will be coming up soon if they keep doing business this way.

If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Stay away.

I love the free weight setup here. My only complaint is that often the horrible music is way too loud which means I have to crank up my music to try and drown it out; but you can't please everyone. If they did turn down the terrible gym music, someone else would gripe about the lack of terrible gym music. Overall, good show, Anytime Fitness. I love what you've done with the back room.

Loveee loveee loveeee this gym. The staff is amazing, I have built a relationship with each employee over a short span of time. The gym is very clean which is a big part during these times. They offer personal sanitize baskets plus sanitizing bottles throughout the gym. The gym is never too packed so, equipment is accessible majority of the time which makes waiting on weights or machines not too common of a problem. I was very happy to find another clean and friendly gym. The big issue and I will not return is this special room with bag and other equipment is supposedly for athletes and their trainers? 🤦‍♂️ I’ve been to several anytime gyms from Augusta, Hampton, Dawsonville, Ellijay, Cartersville, Canton and have never seen such a thing. Very disappointed wish it well. Won’t be in my plans to ever return.

Still like this gym and I'm still a member, for all the reasons mentioned previously. I'm dropping one star since some of the great equipment, like the power rack, has been replaced by lesser versions. Some equipment has been completely removed with no suitable replacements.

I’ve been a member for almost a year. This gym is great. 24/7, never too busy and have all the essential equipment. Always clean and both the staff and other members are unpretentious and friendly. Since it is a 24/7 gym, it’s only staffed at very specific hours, so be sure to keep that in mind when contacting them or coming for the first time.

As others have said, they just swapped out a bunch of equipment.

Dumb decisions like they took the plyometric box (the only one), the assisted pull up machine, power rack, etc. These were some of the staples that they just took and didn’t replace.

This was a good branch. It has gone a little off since they got a new manager. They said they were upgrading equipment. In the process of upgrading they actually removed quite a few equipments. They also replaced the power cage and back extension apparatus with lower quality ones.

Why 4 starts then? Because

- They're good at resolving your billing issues. Once my fob stopped working and they issued me a temporary one at no cost until they figured out and resolved the billing problems.

- It is a clean facility. They take care of the property.

- I haven't seen it packed which is nice.

- They now have some new cardio and strength training equipments.

My brother and I started our fitness Journey together at this gym. It feels like home. The atmosphere is inviting and the members are kind. The staff is exceptional!! The "Face of the Place" is Alex Bernard. Alex is an incredibly hardworking and motivated guy. Alex works at the gym every day and is always there to make sure everything is taken care of. He has been there for over a year and so far has created the best vibe of all the years I've been going. Alex actually knows what he's doing in the gym compared to a lot of people that work in places like this. Even after management let go of former staff Alex still stuck around. Great worker!

It took me almost a week to get someone to answer the phone so I could join. That should have been my first clue. Now it's been almost a year and I looked at my contract to see the end date and I noticed it automatically renews unless you cancel in writing which I will do. However, I've attempted to contact the owner now 7 times by email and phone and she's never returned one call or email. The contract says you can cancel by writing to ABC who deducts your monthly payments but they deny that, although it's on the contract. I will join LA Fitness again where there's always someone there and they always return your calls. There are too many options out there. My advice would be to join somewhere else. The gym is ok but nothing special. Not worth the month in my opinion.

I was a member here. Not sure why anyone would join this place. LA Fitness is 50x bigger with pool and hot tub. I used to have to wait on people to get out of the restroom so I could shower. I had to call back several times to cancel. The only reason I didn't give em 1 star is cause they're 24/7, that's only upside.

The gym is always clean, the equipment is all new, and the staff members are friendly. However, the gym is tiny and lacking some of the more critical pieces of equipment, i.e.: a benchpress, more than one cage, and a stair-stepper. During peak hours (which is unfortunately the only time I was ever able to go) it was difficult to get time on the Precor elliptical and I often had to wait for the equipment I wanted to use. Parking is a nightmare! There are so many businesses crammed into that corner of the parking lot I felt like I got my cardio warm-up just by walking from my car to the front door. If you're going to be working out during off-hours and like a small gym or just want somewhere to do cardio then this is a great option for you.
