I had an issue trying to sign up for the gym since the 24 hour gym was not open for me to sign up at the times that I was available. After signing up on the website and getting a phone call from the manager, then going into the gym to meet with him. He spoke with me in a way that made me feel belittled and like he was trying to intimidate me. He asked me if I was the person who made to the recent review I said yes and he asked me to change the review in front of him before we went on with signing up. I changed the review and after I left the location he emails me, Asking me to change my review again. Overall I am not happy with my experience so this is my review.

EDIT: I had a negative experience with management at this location. I had paid in full for a year membership at a different Anytime Fitness, but I was using this location more often than my home gym. This upset the owner of this gym and I was banned from using this location without warning.

I believed that my membership entitled me to use any Anytime Fitness location. However, I also understand the owner of this gym was not able to get any income from me using his gym. I think both points are valid, but I am ultimately unsatisfied with the way the owner handled the situation. Having your access key suddenly not work in the middle of the night without warning when you're trying to go work out will leave you feeling very negative.

Anytime Fitness itself has awesome and convenient gyms (usually). The equipment at this gym is not inferior. I encourage you to try it out, but if you like it I would advise you to sign up for a membership at a different Anytime Fitness location and avoid coming here.

Went to facility a few years ago and due to a health scar, needed to hold on joining. At that time, I was very impressed with the gym and impressed with the owner, Mike. I am now healthy and ready to get back to working out so I decided to check the reviews before heading over to the gym for membership information. I'm very concerned about what I've read. I don't plan on canceling a membership, but why is there an issue with people who have? Such a great location....

I’ve been trying to cancel my gym membership since January and have continued to be charged for a month to month membership that I’m no longer using. I even returned the key fob to the facility and continued to be charged. I have been met with nothing but asinine responses from this petulant staff. I wouldn’t recommend this gym even if it was free and at this juncture they deserve less than the one star I gave them. There’s no getting through to management and Mike has continued to provide poor customer service. Good like cancelling your membership once your contract expires. If you join Anytime Fitness, join at another facility. 0 stars.

Nice facility. This is the largest facility I have visited and it has a lot of equipment. The emergency alert button devices that call the police is nice for anyone that feels the need to use it.

The highest membership prices with the worst consumer reviews in powder springs, need I say more? Do NOT let him photo copy your credit card information nor trap you into a long term 1 or 2 year contract. It is my opinion that he can not afford to own and operate this fitness facility because he doesn't pay employees on time or refund members who decide to cancel in the 7 day grace period like most gyms do. Take your business elsewhere.

Because it looks like this business is struggling, let me share some tips with them. I inquired about joining a couple months back... It took like 2 weeks for someone to return my phone call. Owner- whoever answer's your phones -- Fire them. Immediatley. They have no interest in you growing your business. ..Its more expensive than other gyms... And there is a year contract... There is no privacy- anyone driving buy can see you working out.. And there are no upright excercise bikes- which is the first thing I look for... Also the vibe/aura of that place is horrible... But I do see potential. With some tweaking this place could be good. I would love to have a gym as close to my home as this one.

BEWARE. Do not sign up for this gym! Anytime Fitness has scammed me. They do not let you cancel the membership and they send a debt collection agency after you if you do not pay. They send you harassing emails and phone calls. They are extremely rude. They have terrible customer service. The gym is awful and dirty. However, I cancelled because I moved away, but they sent a debt collector to collect over $500 which I'm disputing in court currently. Avoid this place if you can.

Horrible place. Do not pay for personal training at all. If your trainer leaves, they will not credit you for time missed while they get you a new trainer. If you pay for classes and your trainer leaves, they will not refund your money on that either and another trainer does not have to make up all the classes you miss. Total ripoff.
