Such a great experience compared to other swim schools we've been to. This place was recommended to us, we were told it's worth the drive from north Canton every week. And they were right. The other swim schools we went to, my daughter just stopped progressing. This place seems to spend time with very specific criteria in each "class" before moving them on to the next step. Great place for swimming lessons. I have two kids taking swimming lessons there and they love it. The staff are great, supportive, and very patient with the kids.

Update - Yesterday, my son had coach Hank for a make up class. My son finished his class and said that he really liked that coach and I have to agree with my son. He explained things at my son’s level and used different techniques for getting his point across. My youngest son has high standards for being put in the ‘like’ category, so I had to get on here to give kudos to Hank. Thanks for being great.
We have had our kids in swim academy since 2017. Throughout this time we have had a 95% positive experience the first time and other 5% was quickly resolved into a positive experience.
The office/store staff is very kind and welcoming with all their customers regardless of age.
But the reason that we have stayed with Swim Academy all these years is because they are constantly looking to improve. They change their program as new teaching methods are developed. They do continuous training with their instructors and do all these things seamlessly so changes are only known because of the transparency that they have with all their customers keeping them informed with regular updates.

We have swam at Atlanta Swim for four years and always had a positive experience. But, my six year old's current coach, Mykala, is next level. Her teaching approach and focus on the technical details is unmatched especially on breaststroke, which typically is the hardest one when they are first learning it. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write this review, considering my girls have been coming here since they were just 8 months old! I’ve never encountered more patient coaches than those at ASA.

Penelope initially worked with Coach Owen, who is fantastic, and after graduating from the Guppies class, she moved on to Coach Connor. Coach Connor has been incredible as well! The skills he has taught her go beyond swimming; he has instilled a sense of confidence in her while also encouraging and challenging her. I truly believe that the lessons she’s learning will positively impact many areas of her life. She recently graduated from coach Connor’s class and will soon have a new coach, who I’m sure will also be fantastic!

I also have another daughter at ASA, my special child, Sophia. She initially struggled with enjoying the water, but thanks to the amazing coaches she’s had—Coach Payton, Coach Emma, Coach Amanda, Coach Morgan, Coach Owen, and the beloved Coach Maddy (her current coach)—she has made tremendous progress! All these coaches have been so patient with her and very supportive.

We love this place! My son is 12 now and started here when he was 6. He’d had a bad experience at another swim school before, so it was really hard for him to feel safe and confident in the water. But ASA really took the time to understand where he was coming from and worked with him in a way that no other place had.

A few months in, he was doing great—and since then, swimming has become his favorite sport! All the coaches we’ve met have been fantastic, but Coach Payton is hands down our favorite. She’s amazing!

Our son has been taking lessons at ASA for more than two years. We have been 100% satisfied with everything about this business since day one. The front desk is always ready to help, the coaches give their 100% during lessons, the facility is clean and tidy, parking spaces are abundant, and so on. We particularly appreciate their transparent billing system, and total ease with getting make-up classes for sessions that could not be attended on a day. I want to mention Brian at the front desk, a very calm and eager to assist gentleman who has been our one-stop man for all questions so far. I'd like to give a five star, but the expiring make-up tokens is stingy, dishonorable, and ridiculous in that they expire in 60 days. Especially for such a well established business in the community, at least giving a calendar year to 18 months would be more reasonable.

We have loved our time with Atlanta Swim Academy! Our 2 year old has especially grown in his comfort with the pool with coach Piper who has the most amazing spirit and patience with the little ones. Our 4 year old has always loved the water but the coaches here have helped him become a fish - doing full strokes, kicks, rolls and dives. He can float on his back for 20+ seconds unassisted. This place is wonderful. I looked at another swim place that's closer to our house, but they had very few options for lesson dates and times. We ended up at Atlanta Swim a couple of months ago and have been so happy. My daughter's teachers connect with her which makes her more successful. I've been impressed with how when there's been an extra teacher, they will come help with lessons. The ratio is already small 1:4, but she's grown so quickly due to extra teachers coming to help between their other lessons.

We have been attending ASA for the last 8 years - since my child was 6 months - and it’s been wonderful. The swim instructors are attentive and knowledgeable. I like the small student to instructor ratio. Swim skills and water safety are prioritized and mastered before moving on to the next level. Classes are 30 mins each and your child is always learning and swimming the whole time. I have seen my child’s swim skills and confidence improve through each level and above. We are in dolphins now, 1 level away from graduating (sharks). I would highly recommend this swim school!

My 3 year old loves his swim class at Atlanta swim academy! He has learned a lot of skills in a short amount of time here. Even though the classes are 4:1 ratios, there are often extra coaches cutting those ratios down, especially in younger classes.
They focus on really developing skills for the long term and have great language to speak to kids.
Coach Alexa, Hank, Carson, and Kyle are all awesome and really push the kids with gentle approaches. My kid did classes at other places before this but was never as challenged as he is here!

I’m so glad we found this place! My daughter is very reserved, specially around people she doesn’t know. We came for a trial class. It was my daughter’s first time taking swim lessons. As soon as the coaches called her, she jumped in the pool and couldn’t stop smiling the entire class. After watching her that day, I decided to sign up. The coaches were coach Adam and coach Kyle. She absolutely adores both of them. I personally think that all coaches here are very dedicated and patient with the kids. Also, the front desk people are so helpful!

We’ve had such a fantastic experience at Atlanta Swim Academy. We’ve attended classes from Shrimps (baby and parent class) to now and love that the lessons and levels clearly build on one another. There’s a strong sense of progression and structure, which helps both kids stay engaged and motivated. If we’ve ever have a recorded absence —which happens so often with young kids—they’ve offered makeup lessons with no hassle.

We have two kids, each with very different needs. One is high energy and impulsive, and the instructors here have done an incredible job channeling that energy in a positive, productive way. Our other has been has been extremely reluctant and fearful around the water. The whole ASA team has been incredibly patient and creative. They make lessons playful and unintimidating, meeting our child exactly where they are without pressure, which has helped build trust and confidence over time. They’ve taken the time to match us with instructors who are not only qualified but truly compatible with our kids’ personalities and learning styles.

We’re so grateful to have found a program that not only teaches swimming but also meets our children’s emotional and behavioral needs with skill and compassion. Swim Academy has been amazing for both of my kids. My older child started out with a big fear of water and had a really tough time learning to swim. But with the support of some truly wonderful coaches, everything changed. Over a few months, he went from anxious and hesitant to confident and happy in the pool — and now he actually looks forward to lessons!

We love ASA! All three of my kids leaned to swim there. The facilities are great, it is incredibly well run and everyone on staff is super friendly. Unlike many of the other swim places around, ASA works very diligently to ensure you have the same coach consistently. Seeing the same coach week after week was always so important for my kid’s progress. I highly recommend bringing your child here for swim lessons!

We had such a great experience at the baby splash class! Every staff member we interacted with was polite and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we first called to ask about the classes. Coach Aubrey was so great, she led a very engaging class for the babies and her patience and gentle encouragement made all the difference. She took the time to make each little one feel comfortable and safe in the water, and her calm and positive energy really helped keep baby curious and alert. Coach Preston was also wonderful, offering really great support throughout the classes. They were both also incredibly patient with us parents trying to take photos and videos of every moment of baby in the water. The staff are all super nice and kind, as are the coaches. However there are very noticeable differences in coach skills and personality and finding the right one is absolutely key.

Coach Ethan is the best coach we found for our almost four year old, and we've been going since baby splash when he was 4 months old.

Highly recommend this place and I suggest trying different classes until you find the teacher that's right for your kid.

We have been going here for close to 6 years. And we have chosen to go here - despite it being almost 40 mins away. The coaches my children have had over the years have been wonderful. Engaging and helping all 3 of my children build their swimming schools. The scheduling is pretty flexible too. They offer a lot of different times throughout the week. It can be a little complicated when you have multiple kids to schedule, but the office admins always work to find a solution as best they can. I always recommend ASA when people ask where they should do lessons.

We have been with the academy for the past 7 months, and from the moment we first walked in, the experience has been nothing short of warm and welcoming. My 2.5 year old son Beau has been taking lessons here since he was 8 months old and it’s been the best decision we ever made. He’s not just learning swim skills, he’s also learning how to clean up, say please and thank you, and identify shapes, colors, animals, etc. He absolutely loses his mind when we pull up and runs in to say hey to everyone in the office. Coach Amanda is his swim coach now and she’s so patient with him. She’s absolutely a pro at dealing with toddler boys and can handle a class with multiple busy boys and they all still learn something new every single lesson. I feel completely comfortable with all the coaches and know Beau will safe and well cared for. I can’t recommend ASA enough!

We have been with ASA since 2017. The facility is clean and managed well. The staff are friendly and helpful. We have been lucky to get great coaches through the years. They have been encouraging, understanding, and motivating our kiddo. Knowing her strengths and working with her for improvements has been wonderful. It is great to see her progress through the years.

We love ASA! Truly! My husband’s oldest daughter learned to swing here over 20years ago. Then our son learned to swim here about 10 years ago, and now our youngest is learning here as well! I can’t recommend a better place. All coaches are great! They are very flexible with your hours. If you need to reschedule a class they can, and your money is not lost! I really like that the school teaches not just swim but water safety skills. How to climb in and out of the pool safely, how to float and breathe when you get tired, and little games that simulate falling into the water and swimming to the side. We have had many great coaches , but Coach Emma F and Coach Trey have helped my little monster the most. Coach Trey never gave up on my little guy even when he was all energy and no sense. And Coach Emma has really gotten him to focus on his movements. We really enjoy the school and always recommend it.

Love Atlanta Swim Academy! My child started in the baby class and is now 4 years old. They have completely taught my child how to swim and we feel so much better about pool time now. They are great about challenging the kids to keep learning new skills to become strong swimmers. It’s pricey, but totally worth it. Coach LJ was our absolute favorite coach, along with coach Eli and coach Sarah.

The only downside is you can find a coach you love, and then they leave because of school or other work schedules and that can be frustrating for kids to continually change coaches every quarter.
