I enjoy exercising at the Y. The instructors are, great, kind, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are doing everything correct. The facility is clean, staff are friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend the Y on South side. We don't have a pool but that's okay. The exercise equipment is good and clean workout classrooms and clean as well.

The classes and instructors at Augusta South are great. However, members pay wayyy too much for the showers to be nasty. I mean it’s horrible and unsanitary. The manager and staff really should be ashamed. Myself and other members have complained multiple times to only be told they don’t have a company to come clean it and tell a staff member. Why is it not staff responsibility to clean it anyway or at least check if it needs cleaning??? Also, I take early morning classes so they are not cleaned that night before closing or the morning when opening.

I am a new member and joined right before the New Year. I am enjoying the facility and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The gym is very close to my home, which was the deciding factor for why I joined. The equipment, in my opinion, is good, and one could really get a good full body workout. The lockers could be a lot better/newer. I do agree with another post about the music coming from the aerobics room; it is much too loud and can be heard throughout the whole gym. I don’t think it should be as loud as it is. Despite the lockers and the music, this place is a 5 star for me.

Inconsistent about cancellation and billing. Was yanked around for months by people saying I didn’t have to come in to cancel, saying they sent an email to e-sign, drug around by like 4 different people until, of course, another bill was due. I do not have the money to pay it and explained that I spent MONTHS trying to cancel only to be told now when the bill is going to be charged anyway that I have to come in. I don’t even live in the state. If you’re looking for a gym with a caring staff, look elsewhere. All they care about is squeezing another bill out of you. Don’t believe me? Look at their policies.

I'm more than thankful for the y but I don't understand how we have to pay for a FULL week for primetime and a full week for the holiday camp. They only going to camp for three days and to school for two days. (Christmas break). The money we pay for primetime should go towards the holiday camp instead of us paying two Separate bills. At this point I know it's all about money and all they feed the kids are peanut butter jelly sandwiches and lunchables, I have to fix my child lunch because he still be hungry. Where's our money really going

I go to the Y in the mornings before work. Convenient to get to and great equipment. However, the mornings tend to be social hour for most of the participants. Yelling across the room, haggling each other. The only exercise is "running the mouth". It's very annoying. My headset doesn't drown out the noise. Will probably try another Y across town to see if people actually go to workout instead of socializing.

I use to be a member of this gym...Very nice and close to where I live. My favorite area would be the sauna. I really wish they would build a pool that way members don't have to drive across town. I visit this location when I sign my son up for primetime. The staff is nice. I would definitely join again if I'm looking for a gym to join in the future.

Attend open house for Goshen Elementary when I signed my daughter up for prime time. The paper I filled out had an area to put my credit card information at so they can do reccuring payments for each week. On the day she was supposed to start prime time the same woman I gave the paperwork at the open house told me they don't have any pay on my daughter. Keep in mind my credit card information was on this lost paper work and they did absolutely nothing about it just told me that my daughter can't come to Prime Time anymore and come to find out that same woman yelled at my daughter in an inappropriate way that later my daughter was very upset about it. I left a voicemail mail and not a soul called me back. I had to order a new credit card because unrecognizable charges as found but still did not get a call back. This place is extremely unprofessional and disorganized. Absolutely the worst

I have been testing out all the different locations in the metro pass and Augusta South is the best by far!!!!! The childcare is PHENOMENAL! My children are in a safe, loving, and happy environment while I take time to work on myself. The front desk is always friendly, ready and willing to help, and greet you with a smile! And the gym crowd is perfect! Everyone is respectful, picks up after themselves, and just happy and friendly! Extremely clean facility!

This YMCA is clean and well maintained. It has ample equipment, ie. treadmills, ellipticals, free weights and machines. There are a host of weekly classes to attend. There is also a sauna inside the locker room area. There is no pool, so you cannot swim at this YMCA.

Hate this place. If your group class starts at 9:30, which people pay for in their membership, they should have the audacity to start on time. I had to drove across town to the other Family Y (Wilson) to work out. The idiots who work in this gym are SORRY. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. If they weren't less than 5 miles away I would go somewhere. They are terrible. From the person who sits at the desk to the instructors to the staff that walls the floor. I canceled my Golds membership for this. Worst mistake EVER.
