Great staff, amazing facility. Nice selection of equipment, a wide variety of classes, an indoor pool and racquetball court. Really an incredible deal for the membership. Definitely worth checking out! If you love dance fitness, check out Dance Jam Friday mornings at 9!

Private facility. Millions of dollars of community property owners' money was used to build this health club. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in property owner money yearly is used to staff, insure, heat, cool, and electrify this facility. Management then has the balls to charge property owners $600 - 800 a year in fees to use the place

Big Canoe is amazing! We have vacationed there twice in the fall. The resort is first class! The hiking trails, the mountain views from the homes and the wellness center are spectacular! We also enjoyed the meals at the Mountains Grill at the Clubhouse on Lake Sconti. Yum!

Smallish gym but lots of options and plenty of cardio equipment so never had to wait for a machine. I really enjoyed the saltwater pool which is kept at 85 degrees and the sauna. Since I had a guest pass, I kept getting the stink eye from the staff and even got questioned by one of the instructors which made me feel unwelcomed.

Joyce is new there, but she is an amazing addition to the gym here in Big Canoe. I visit my parents occasionally and she was very professional over the phone, and was very welcoming when I came in. Thank you Joyce for your excellent service!

Water aerobics instructor and some of the old ladies in class were extremely rude to my wife and our 6 year old daughter..yelling at them for sitting on a bench near the pool at the end of the class...cannot use hot tub or sauna during pool classes either..avoid fitness center and pool if you are under 60..very unfriendly to younger people

My husband and I went to the fitness center to use the pool. I recently tore a ligament in my knee so the steps in the pool and whirlpool hurt and my husband was helping/carrying me in the pool. The front desk woman Mayjet came and told us to act mature and that we can't use the sauna again because we didn't see to rinse and that she hopes we don't continue to act like this while we are here.
We live at a resort and use their pool and sauna all the time and there has never been rules about things like that. I am very disappointed.

We are so fortunate to have such a great facility to work out in, hang out in, get massages, swim and even get physical therapy. Racquet ball, indoor tennis, yoga, boot camps, personal trainers, you name it, it is there.

my only complaint was after paying for cabin. It cost per day to use the fitness room. But, with that daily fee comes a lot of perks like fitness instructor. The pool cost an additional fee to use per day. The also have a weekly fee for each activity.
