Bill is truly a great instructor. He is very patient and encouraging when working on improving your game. My son and I have been seeing him consistently for the past 1.5 years. He has improved our games significantly, so much that he has helped us to our first tournament victory this past weekend!

I had my first lesson with Bill recently and it was very eye opening to say the least. I love data and him having Trackman was a huge plus. I am a 10hcp and have been shooting 84-88 over the last 3 months. Bill took time to break down my swing and incorporated 3 new things not to overwhelm me. As others has posted, he takes a traditional fundamental approach and doesn’t push these new gimmicky swing aids. I played this morning and carded an 82! Stop buying new clubs and banging balls at the range. Go see Bill! really excited for my next lesson.

Bill has been fantastic! I'm sure some others can relate to my situation. I have been playing golf almost my entire life (I'm 53) and my golf game has been really bad the last couple of years - I had lost enjoyment for the sport. I went to Bill on a referral from a friend. I signed up for 8 lessons and we developed a plan. First goal was to fix the swing, and next was to get fitted for new clubs. The result has been fantastic.

Bill worked to identify my issues with the help of all of the technology he has (video analysis, trackman, etc) combined with his experience. My short, weak fade disappeared after only a session or two and I was excited to be hitting the ball the distances I expected again (with a nice draw!).

Once the swing was improved and more consistent, we started working on the club fitting. We methodically went thru hybrids, fairway woods, driver and finally the irons. All the while Bill is like a mad scientist swapping out shafts, playing with loft, angles - all the technical stuff. I particularly liked Bill's approach to ensure we had the appropriate gap distance between each club.

I received the new clubs a couple of weeks ago and the results are more than I ever expected. I am literally hitting each club about 30 yards longer than when I started with Bill (and about 15 yards longer than when I was playing well years ago). And with more consistency.

I highly recommend Bill. He is easy to work with, patient and truly cares about outcomes with his students.

Bill has managed to make my game the best it’s ever been. He has made me understand my swing so much more. He has taught me about the work I have to put in in order to be the best player I can be. Bill has educated me on how to mentally deal with situations better than any other coach. He has transformed my swing to be so much better than it was. Bill Baraban has taken my golf game to new heights. He is an amazing coach and he is always there for guidance. He is very knowledgeable and skilled in all aspects of golf. State of the art facilities for long game and putting. Great facility! Bill is top notch! He really knows his stuff and helped me get my golf game back on track. If you are struggling with your swing, save yourself hours on the range trying different things. Go see Bill and you will know in 5 minutes how to correct the issue. We had a great lesson; signed up for the 8 lesson package which we split up between my wife and I. The first lesson was great - for non-players, Bill quickly assessed our skills and started with foundational basics (which we needed). This is a great start and hopefully we will be on the green very soon. Highly recommend.

Sleazy Business Practice. Beware of paying for any lessons upfront. My wife and I (senior citizens and I am a veteran) paid $750 for 10 lessons upfront and were encouraged to do so... We cancelled after only 4 lessons because our instructor no-showed twice. We requested only $350 be refunded to be nice, however they dodge our phone calls and kept our money. UPDATE: owner called and sent a refund to my credit card for $370 after this review was posted - issue resolved.

So I went back to golf this year after about 10 years away from the game. I am 53 and started playing in high school. I played on my high school team and although I was never a great golfer I did manage to break 100 or 50 for 9 quite regularly back then. But now going back to it, I have been a mess. My shots were going everywhere except straight. My driver especially sliced terribly, and even my short irons were slicing. I was pretty frustrated. I walked into Bill's place not having much hope after my latest 9 hole performance of 56.

Well...

They had me drawing the ball in less than an hour. Drawing!!!! Me!!! Hitting a draw!!! That was really impressive. He taught me one skill at a time. Once I had that concept down he would go to the next. He was very patient and showed me on his computer screen exactly what I was doing wrong and how I had improved after his teaching.

Needless to say, I have signed up for more lessons.

Bill is a great coach. I came in with a slice that took every shot completely out of play. After taking some lessons with Bill, I was able to understand why the ball was slicing and how to fix it. Bill gives managable pieces to work on each lesson and builds on those pieces each new lesson. Since my lessons with Bill my swing and scores have improved dramatically and my friends and family have noticed the difference when we golf. I highly recommend Baraban's academy for anyone looking to improve their game

I stumbled across Bill's academy a few years back when I was looking for a qualified club fitter... What a find it has been! Bill is an expert at coaching and club fitting. He has all the technological tools and is highly skilled at narrowing in on the best club configuration to help get the most out of your swing. Bill is thorough in his approach to coach and fitting. He's not simply out to sell you the most expensive clubs on the market like some of the other fitters in the Atlanta area. I've recommended him to friends and they all have thanked me for the introduction after they meet with Bill. Bill Baraban is the absolute BEST!!! I have never written an on line review but feel the need to do so now. I initially shied away from getting "fitted" for new clubs, fearing a heavy sales pitch for something quite expensive. Too the contrary, Bill took me pace by pace through the myriad options and in the end came up with a recommendation that he not build custom clubs for me but that I buy a stock set from a single manufacturer. Ethical and honest!! And as a bonus my new clubs are great; truly improving my scores.

I have been working with Bill for several years he is an expert club fitter and teaching pro. Wow, I'm really glad I found this facility. Bill really knows his stuff. He obviously has been in the industry and knows his stuff. I think he may be a mad scientist; they have a lot of technology to work with and he is very detail oriented. I've only been playing for a few years, but Bill met me where I was with my game and worked with what I had...equipment and strokes. He's tweaking some of my gear and my strokes. I'll be back.

Bill Baraban is a PGA Master Professional with world's of experience to coach all parts of the game, from mental to swing related aspects. He played at a very high level so knows from experience. He's also a phenomenal club fitter with a full service shop to fit loft and lie, flex and length. I've worked with Bill for at least three years and can tell you undoubtedly he's the best. -Tom
