Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi is a yoga studio in Marietta offering holistic wellness classes consisting of yoga, tai chi, meditation, and breathwork based on 5000-year old Korean traditions. We offer a variety of yoga classes for beginners and more advanced classes to energize and heal the mind, body, and spirit.
Our friendly and inviting Marietta yoga classes include Body & Brain Yoga (All Levels), ‘Power Brain’ Yoga for Kids, Energy Movement, Core Strengthening, Open Class, Meditation, Self-Healing with a Wooden Pillow, Tai Chi and QiGong, Yoga and QiGong, and more.

Body and Brain Yoga was recommended to me by a best friend based on her health enhancing experiences. I researched and found that Yoga does have scientific evidence of benefits for women in their mid-80’s in the areas of health I want to move into.
After a month and a half of three sessions a week, I can testify that my balance, total body flexibility and posture have improved. The sessions concentration of shoulder relaxation plus learning how to breathe properly have greatly reduced body tension, eased arthritis pain and increased energy. There are more muscles used within Yoga movements that were never utilized in my many years of physical fitness training.
The ingredients of the dedicated practitioners and assistants, added to the inclusive warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Body and Brain Yoga participants have been an important part of my health program community.
I am new to Yoga—so much more to learn and new rewards to experience.

Body and Brain offers a way of life affecting all aspects of a person’s being: physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual if a person wants to go there. I have found a true home and community at the center and my life is so much more enriched because of my membership there. I have become so much more calm and peaceful and carry away from the classes feelings of deep love, my self worth and meaning. The instructors are very in tune to people’s differences and encourage you to be aware of your body’s condition to and practice accordingly. Classes encompass yoga, qigong, tai chi and energy movement. Can’t recommend it enough.

I have been a member of Body and Brain practice for almost 20 years. I can honestly say it has added to my life in many positive ways. I find it adds balance and focus to my days
Master Brian and Lakshmi are wonderful caring people who support and encourage their members.
Each day has a different theme and all are very beneficial. This is not an exercise program that only works on your body. It touches your whole being. Body, brain and spirit.
The Qigong practice is one of my favorite parts of the program. It teaches balance, discipline, and focus.
I will celebrate my 76 th birthday next month and I believe this practice has kept me young and healthy these last 20 years.
I would encourage anyone to consider looking into Body and Brain.

My first week has been an incredible experience in terms of how I feel. I had 10 individual sessions with Master O at Brain and Body Yoga, and it truly helped me calm down and reconnect with myself. I've been attending weekly classes and multiple workshops at Body and Brain since October, and the impact on my life has been profound. Body and Brian Yoga Tai Chi, Marietta is a great place to rejuvenate, heal and recharge. Master O and Master Lakshmi are phenomenal. Their energy and enthusiasm are very inspiring. They truly care for the well-being of members and provide individualized attention. I joined about 4 weeks ago and go to the in-class sessions 3-4 times a week. I also take Private classes. The movements, stretching, breathing and meditation have led to the release of a lot stagnant emotions and energy. Even in this short period of time, I am convinced that this practice is indeed an essential ingredient for holistic healing and experiencing “ease of being.” I would whole-heartedly recommend Body and Brain.

If you are looking to stretch, heal, and energize your whole body and mind, Body & Brain Yoga can be it. My wife and I started our journey in Jan and it's been a wonderful experience. Master O and Master Julia are experts in keeping you motivated and engaged in the class and guiding you through opening you up! There are several in-class sessions, and online sessions a week - plus, we have also been having outdoor sessions in spring. In addition to keeping the body healthy, the training for the mind and managing emotions have been invaluable! I was in search of a place that did Tai Chi and Qi Gong and found Body & Brain. I go at least once a week to their classes and participate in their online classes as well. I love the variety of the classes, the positivity, the movements, and energy. The classes are all ages and all levels. In general, I enjoy instructor led classes, it provides direction and keeps me motivated. Master O is wonderful and is very caring. I am so glad I found this place.

I joined Body & Brain Yoga Tai Chi three weeks ago and all I can say is, I am a changed person. It truly is life changing. I feel more in touch with my inner self. I feel more joy and so grateful not to mention my body is more flexible. It feels so good to stretch and learn the many movements and to connect with my body. They teach you how to focus on your breathing and remove all of the clutter in your thoughts and they teach you so much more. I love it!! Qigong combines meditation, yoga, spirituality, morality, and the gym. Ever since I began doing Qigong at Brain and Body Yoga under Master O’s tutelage. My confidence, emotions, and health had all significantly improved, especially my acceptance of who I am and my ability to enjoy and feel true emancipation, which allowed the man I had always imagined myself to be.

What a life-changing experience it is! I think everyone who has ever considered enriching their life with positivity, body healing, better sleep, and greater happiness should try it. From day one, during my first one-on-one evaluation session with Master O, all my doubts were gone and forgotten. The series of simple, easy workouts, breathing techniques, stretches, and movements gave me so much energy, understanding, and awareness of my body.
I know it’s hard to believe; I was a skeptic too. But now I’m a believer! I have taken a couple of different classes, and each time I felt more and more energized—joyful, peaceful, and strong. This place is absolutely amazing! I have been going here for about two months now with a focus on increasing my flexibility and strength, and also doing energy healing. I had no idea that in such a short time I would see such a huge impact. Within two months, I am already noticing that I am stronger and more flexible, and I have increased vitality which I believe is through the practice of healing my energy centers and increasing blood circulation. Often times I go to these classes after work and come in feeling low energy and sluggish, and by the end, I feel very vibrant and open. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone that is looking to improve their quality of life. It is amazing how quickly a difference can be noticed. The classes range from low to medium intensity depending on the day. The classes are about 1.5 hours long when you include time for warm up. It is a bit longer than typical fitness class but I think you gain a lot more from this practice than just physical strength. It is truly focused on holistic healing. I also really love the community that body and brain offers. There are often events such as potluck or book clubs that members can choose to participate in. I have really enjoyed my time here so far and would recommend that if anyone is considering joining, to do the introductory session to see what all this place has to offer!

On taking my Initial Awakening course back in May of this year, I had the wonderful opportunity of meeting Master O from the Marietta center. I found her to be a very inciteful and caring person it was a great experience been under her care, I felt the love. We were all pampered that day by all three center leaders, involved, and I personally loved it (smile). This modality of healing is wonderful and extremely effective. This is something I can get behind to really encourage others because I've seen the proof in my own life. Every day, I feel strength returning to my own body, as I was scheduled for knee surgery, but I chose this route instead. And I'm feeling great!

I absolutely love Body and Brain Marietta! No matter how I feel coming in, when I enter I always experience such a feeling of peace and welcome. The classes fill me and help me let go of any stress and scatteredness, always leave me feeling grounded and at ease.
Master O is very passionate and knowledgeable of Q-gong energy and Thai chi yoga, and the way she incorporates it into the classes are very effective. Master Julia is amazing as well!

I can’t say enough about how much this Center has changed my life. It has been the catalyst for change in my mind and body. 2 years ago I was in constant pain and my left knee was stuck at a 45 degree angle. Today my knee is almost 100 percent after the Drs told me it would be stuck for the rest of my life. I truly love my instructors, and the community of my peers. I have been looking at ways to connect more with my self, my true self and I finally found my place!! Body and Brain Yoga Tai Chi of Marietta is a great center! I enjoy all the classes. They are varied and there is an AM and PM schedule. The center also offers a class on Saturday. Master O and Master Julia are wonderful, warm, energetic and positive young women. The classes encompass body, brain, breathing, meditation, lots of movements and wonderful postures! The classes are very dynamic and after each class, I feel great, more focused, more centered and more whole!
After the class, we are offered to sip tea and share our experience and feelings. This allows for bonding and a sense of community, which I have been looking for that too. I joined for a year and the price is just great!! The membership allows me to attend to periodic seminars. I attended Initial Awakening this past Sunday and it was a great class with lots of exercises and connection .
In summary, what makes this place outstanding are the Masters. They have become my family and I feel in trust and confidence to share personal issues. I never felt judged but listened to with compassion and empathy. These two lovely and lively Masters are endowed with much wisdom!!❤️❤️❤️

My friend recommended that I take Tai chi classes. She told me that it can help me to find my true self. So, I called the body and brain in Marietta and made an appointment for a one-to-one session. I didn't know what to expect and how it is going to turn out. They have different classes throughout the week. My first week, I had a moment where I thought I could never feel again. Before I took this class, I couldn't handle myself when it came to difficult situations. I usually overreact to a lot of things and couldn't hold my emotions at all. I was always stressed out.
Then the first week, I felt a lot lighter and happier. I started to appreciate and love myself for the first time. It's a long process, I got start somewhere, and this is the place to do it. Each week I surprise myself how I became more and more confident and at ease. I am calmer and more confident when I have a difficult situations. I am coming out of my shell that I had all my life. And it's a beautiful thing. Tai chi teaches me how to be one with mind and body. The most important thing that I am learning is love and positive thinking. The more I love and have positive thinking, the love expands and my life has a positive outcome.

I have been training here for two plus months. I'm a 50 year old male.
Every single class has been amazing! And every class is a snowflake as in no two the same!
I have seen improvements in endurance, flexibility, spiritual wellness, focus...literally the list goes on and on!

My wife and I joined Body and Brain about two months ago. We fell in love with the place the first day we were there. Masters O and Julia are great, and take the time to show me different variations of poses to best suited my needs. I’ve tried to find where I belonged in the fitness world for years with the limitations of having Multiple Sclerosis. I was invited by a friend to try a couple of classes at BNB Yoga Tai Chi. I immediately knew this was the place I needed to heal my mind and body and signed up for a year’s membership right away. The environment is diverse and positive. This place is awesome. Master O Is unbelievable. I cured my childhood chronic IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I lost 14 pounds in 2 months and feeling much healthier. My mind is much calmer. Body & brain has changed my life. I did yoga before but couldn’t connect with the practice. I was looking for a sense of community but was not able to find it in other places.
Master O has helped me so much to open up and heal some parts of my body and mind that I have been struggling with for a long time.

I am so grateful to be able to take classes at the Body & Brain Center. Last year I had a debilitating condition that made me physically handicapped. I am more mobil now thanks to the gentle body movements that are taught at the center. I am almost back to normal. I need to stretch and move everyday to keep my recovery moving forward. I have been practicing at the Marietta Center for 9 months now. Admittedly, I was super overwhelmed the first time I met Master O, because you just don't meet people with her energy very often haha. Struggling, suffering, suffocated by my own life. Diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). 20 lbs up in my weight and all down in my business. I started with an introductory session at the marietta, GA location on Sandy plains rd. Master O has been a friend, companion, support system and a wonderful Tai Chi master & healer through the journey. I have been able to keep in touch with her outside of the sessions, without overbearing her too much for some support and help. Her gentle kind approach is the care I was looking for. She has a way to conduct her sessions with the right energy, passion and a lot of patience & compassion. I have thoroughly enjoyed the benefits of private sessions with her. I am more aware and I have the tools to turn to when I am in the middle of an emotional storm.
I always look forward to getting embraced by her warm welcome hug and greeting. I have learnt to respect and embrace the practice outside the studio as well. I can trust her with the sharing and healing during the sessions.
The studio is very well kept and has a positive energy to it. It is cozy overall and the main room is expansive. The healing rooms are well suited for private sessions. My 6 year old son also got a chance to work with her one on one and has developed a good sense of body awareness.

I’m truly grateful that I found Body and Brain Marietta. I just completed my first full week which consisted of: a one-on-one, and 5 group sessions (one was on zoom). I initially joined to improve my balance, flexibility, and anxiety in a small, peaceful setting. I didn’t like the idea of taking a yoga class at a busy, noisy gym.
I am thankful for this yoga studio and Master O who is pouring into me so much more than I could have ever imagined.
I’m learning about energy blockages in my body and what that means and how to release using the techniques. I always suffered with tightness in my neck and shoulders. I thought I was ‘sleeping wrong’ I realized I just had energy blockages. Our instructor talks about why you have those blockages and we will hold on to past trauma throughout our life and it creates energy blockages that show up tightness in my muscles like digestive issues so many different things. So I really value and appreciate the knowledge that I receive about my body and healing.
Also my endurance and flexibility has improved so much just within the first few sessions certain poses I can only hold for seconds and now I can hold them for minutes. I’m so excited about my journey that’s just the beginning and I’ve noticed so much progress.

I really enjoy the online classes and have benefited a lot from the online private sessions. I was very bloated in the beginning but when I started doing the abdominal exercises I felt so much relief and the bloating and gas decreased. I found this center through online newsletter for an event which I was looking for: Aura Reading! I could make an appointment on the phone with a very kind lady who sounded very kind and genuine. She also did my reading for me and spent a good hour to explain everything and showed me how to work with my body and energy at my level. This Body and brain yoga center is really well named. I had a lot going on with my life. chronic stress, stomach pain, rational thoughts, emotional stress and my body and brain were extremely exhausted. I’ve tried many different things trying to get balance back into my life but all was in vain. Even I’ve been visiting doctors for my stomach and chest pain and they said everything is fine, but I wasn’t fine at all.
So I thought of yoga as my last exile.
So I made one class reservation online and wasn’t really excited about my first class until I went to the center and met the amazing Master O. She had really peaceful eyes, voice and positive energy that I felt from my first introduction class.
The way I’ve been guided through out my first training got me peace and I knew that she really knows what’s going on with me, she was very helpful , understanding , supportive and all what she cared about is helping me!
After my first class I felt a change in my emotional level. I felt like this is the peace I was looking for. My brain and body is linking back together. So I was like I’m not gonna let it go away again. It’s been 5 weeks now of training and I had 2 workshops and really through out the workshops every single Master was just caring about how he can help.
the change been happening in my life now is huge!
I never thought that I would be able to get to this level in this time.
Now My life is coming back together and my stomach pain and chest pain has gone. I quit smoking without struggling with my self. I had a peaceful mind and flexible body. And I decided I’m gonna keep doing that for the rest of my life. Because if I can get this much in a month so what I will be getting after a year or two or until the end of my life.

Wow! I can’t say enough wonderful things about body and brain! It was just by chance that my daughter and I came into contact with Master O. At the time, and even still, I had/have stress. Who doesn’t?! It’s part of life…Stress from work, life, etc.; certainly never crossed my mind that I was not treating that stress like any other ailment.
When you are sick, you seek treatment, or try to remedy yourself. In some cases you learn preventative measures to avoid its reoccurrence. I equate body and brain to just that; it’s my treatment and preventative for my stress.
It has not only helped with my mental strain (brain), but also has helped me physically (body). I have not shared this with Master O yet, but since joining classes almost three months ago, I have lost 18 pounds. It wasn’t even an aspect I was necessarily in search of when I joined, though most definitely needed. Stress and clearing my mind was the goal and is my main objective with the classes.
The classes are transformative. It will be unlike your traditional “yoga”. If you are open to having your mind and body working together and for one another , instead of at odds, then try this out.
You will love Master O and her instruction. You’ll never be made to feel that you are not at a similar level with others in class. Being young or fit is not a requirement. I’m not a joiner and I’m not a group person. But I wouldn’t want to miss a class for the sheer benefit it brings to my overall well-being. I’m still learning and that’s ok. I’m still working through my physical blockages and that’s ok, cause I know I’ll get there one day.

I first met the instructor at clean juice Johnson ferry (where I work) & accepted an aura reading. It revealed what I sensed and had been neglecting, which is that my body desperately craved plenty of loving attention. Bunch of glowing red up around my heart & head, like a passionate volcano preparing to erupt. Tears rolled down my face as I accepted my need for a consistent practice to transform my health & life. We scheduled my intro session; afterwards I attended my first three classes over the next two days. This was mid December 2019.
On Christmas morning, I got my period back after an entire year without it. I cried tears of joy & relief & GRATITUDE, thanking my brilliant body for beginning to return to her natural rhythms. I fully credit this practice & its ripple effects for my body’s strength & health improving in such a short time.
In the past, I allowed shame & anxiety to prevent me attending classes. The environment is humble & warm. Variety of classes is very enjoyable. They are gentle but intense. I am scheduled to partake in a couple of different workshops & have a deep fresh excitement for my future.

Although I have only been at “Brain and Body Marietta” for a few weeks, I have learned so much through the skilled trainers who are helping me to trust, love, and cleanse my body of the negative layers. To connect...find...communicate with my beloved organs and limbs. God has created this vessel in which we are placed. We are nudged to free ourselves from our past, healing ourselves from the pains that we’ve accumulated throughout the years. For me, on a physical level, I still struggle to stand up on my own, and although I am still not yet well-balanced, I am super excited and know that through the training and practice I will be able to stand using the strength of my own legs and find my own center of balance. Again, within this short period of being a member of this welcoming and knowledgeable community, I have noticed more flexibility in my gait. I had always wanted to take a yoga class, but had been too nervous and reluctant to take the first step to do so. However, a couple months ago, I took the leap and joined a program at Marietta Brain and Body Yoga and Tai Chi studio. I’m so happy to have found this particular studio and program. The instructors, Master O and Master Eunice, are so welcoming and accommodating no matter one’s skill level. I also love that this program is not only traditional yoga, which is beneficial also, but it focuses on many other aspects as well, such as energy work, self love, empowerment, etc. The classes are also filled with people of all ages, which is another great aspect. If you aim to heal yourself on ALL levels, not only physical, I suggest checking out this studio! It’s not only helping me to connect with my body more, but my anxiety is also drastically improving. I have so enjoyed the Marietta Body and Brain Center. I was reluctant to try it out at first, because I was not sure what a body and brain center was, but I am SO GLAD I did! This is not a traditional type Yoga...it is so MUCH more! The classes focus on stretching, balance, focus and breathing, as well as brain stimulation techniques. It is for the WHOLE body! I feel so relaxed, energized and stronger after class...it is well worth the time and is very affordable to me. I am in my late 50's and never feel like I am unable to do the exercises and activities. The center has a clean and calm atmosphere, and the teachers/Masters are very knowledgeable, kind, and caring. I joined Body & Brain several months ago, on my 61st birthday. The information on their web sites and in their promotional materials only scratches the surface of what this practice means and what it does. Masters Eunice and O have created a spirited community that cares and shares. These are not large, fitness center classes; there are rarely more than eight or nine participants, and the Masters' attention is both professional and personal. I first went as a gift to my body (ya know, Body and Brain), but quickly found this to be even more about how our attitudes and mindset govern our lives. The core philosophies are sound, and largely consistent with a variety of available programs. (I studied and taught Covey Seven Habits for many years, for example, and the fundamental principals are aligned but built on a different foundation). I find this practice unique, however, in that it feeds and challenges the mind but also trains and strengthens the body. And what good is one without the other?

I have been coming to this Body and Brain Yoga center for almost 4 months now and was reluctant to write a review earlier because I wanted to make sure that how positive I felt about the class in the beginning continued. Now that it has, I want to share how this class has made an impact in my life. I am in my 70s and have been doing yoga on and off for decades and was expecting a similar experience when I joined this class. However it is much more. Each class is a combination of exercise, stretching, balance, energy and focus. And then there is the brain connection, which didn’t mean much to me when I started and I was not expecting much. But after several months I found that I am more focused on feeling energy in my body. I am more likely to set goals now and find them easier to achieve. Is this the yoga class? Certainly nothing else has changed in my life. The participants at this particular studio are a friendly and outgoing group and I have met several people that I would now consider friends. I have had only one experience at another one of their centers which was equally as positive. If you are looking for a yoga studio, give this one a shot. Maybe it’s just what you want.

I have been a member of Body and Brain Yoga for many years, starting at a studio downtown then Vinings area then Buckhead studio and now this one in Marietta. Master Eunice and Master Oh mirror my experiences at all of the other sites: they are true Masters of yoga and brain education! My body is not supple enough to do all the stretches/poses as much as I’d like, but I do as much as I can and with the help of ‘brain education’, try to push myself to do more. That is the essence of the brain education I have found so helpful, even in my daily life: to take time to love your body, be gentle and forgiving of your body’s limitations, yet try to push yourself, your body to do more. When I practice on my own and go to this class regularly, I am always refreshed/renewed/invigorated and certainly more at peace within.

2 months ago i made the choice to enroll in Body & Brain Yoga Taichi, as well as going on an organic diet. I have Afib, high blood pressure, chronic sinusitis, and high cholesterol. I really wanted to discontinue all my meds, because of side effects and the chemicals that make up the meds. My doctors said I will have to take these meds the rest of my life, but that was not my desire. I stopped the blood pressure and cholesterol meds when i started the yoga and diet. Last week, I had a physical, and my doctor said that I don't have to take them anymore! This week, I went to my cardiologist, and he said, because of my tests results, I should be able to quit the heart meds also. Previously, he was telling me that I would have to take these for the rest of my life, but now I can stop them!!! My sinus condition have also greatly improved. I have found my "home" at Body & Brain Yoga, and am looking forward to a complete transformation physically and spiritually. At almost 70 years old, I ready for my rebirth.

I highly recommend the classes, the title is perfect; Body and Brain. When they work together (B+B, + plus believe = healing for the body). Master Eunice is an awesome instructor, she teaches, and encourages us through the pain, to the warmth, then happy energy. My classmates are very supportive. I have chronic pain due to Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Fibromyalgia, and I feel much better each day I come. She teaches us to accept the pain, work through it to warm, but do not become a victim of pain. I would give them 5 stars but, we are all striving to be the best version of ones self, and I've decided to live to be 101 years old, as taught in Ilchi Lee's book "I've Decided to Live 120 years. This is not just Yoga, Tai Chi, it's brain education, mind and body training.
