I’ve had an excellent experience at Body20. It’s a genuinely superior way to work out: you get the impact of heavy weight, muscle-building training while using relatively light weights, which is much easier on the joints and lowers the risk of injury. The EMS suit does a lot of the deep muscle work for you, and most of the exercises are compound movements that engage multiple muscle groups at once — so you feel the workout everywhere.

Each session is only 20 minutes (about 30 minutes total including suit-up and wrap-up), which makes it very realistic to stay consistent even with a busy schedule. Doing it twice a week has fit perfectly into my routine and still delivers serious results.

Special shout-out to Coach Brian at the Brookhaven location — he’s knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely fun to train with. He knows how to push you just enough while still keeping things safe and encouraging. Highly recommend.

So I was leaving my favorite brunch spot, Egg Harbor Cafe and was approached with an offer to a free workout at Body20. I accepted the offer for the following Saturday. Let me tell you. I was a little skeptical at first because of the full body muscle stimulator vest. Well, after this 20 minute workout, they got a new client. As a former athlete with a few old nagging injuries, specifically one of knees, this thorough 20 minute blast workout is a phenomenal workout. It has allowed me to take my health and conditioning back into my own hands. Week 1 workout, along with full meal changes (healthier) saw a 5 pound loss. I don't cosign too many things publicly. However, Body20 is amazing. My trainer Jalissa is amazing. She is constantly making sure that my workouts are knees friendly and she knows how to create workouts that focus on the key areas first. She is truly amazing and an excellent trainer! Give it a try! I promise you will love this place.

Be very cautious!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Body20 Brookhaven. I was overcharged, misled about promotions, and treated disrespectfully by staff. Inc etli agree on terms they treat you however they want and no matter what they will take extra month payment. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was blamed and dismissed. They refused to take accountability and charged me for services I didn’t receive. Be very careful — in my experience, this place feels like a scam wrapped in a fitness studio. I would never recommend it.

Joined Body20 Brookhaven on Feb1st and have now had 7 sessions. I’ve had several different coaches and all were great. However I’ve connected more with Marko. I was already very fit when I joined but have still made great progress in 7 sessions. My body fat dropped 2pts while gained 3.5lbs of skeletal. I am a little late sharing my experience but I wanted to applaud the Brookhaven location ownership, sales team and trainers for their amazing work! I had to cut my membership short due to relocation in an area that doesn’t have a Body20 location yet but I left Atlanta with RESULTS! The trainers were professional while kicking your butt in just a mere 15 minute workout! The results in the one month I was there got me out of a plateau I’d hit working out on my own! I was working muscles I didn’t know I had and when my friends and family saw the transformation they were all sold as well! I was able to go from 146-138 in just 3 classes! But even more my body became more lean than I’ve been able to accomplish in years!

There is no place on earth that you can workout for 15-20’minutes, once to twice a week and see the results you get with Body20. If you’re hitting a wall with weight loss or you have restricted fitness requirements due to health this checks all the boxes!

As a father of two kids with a full time job in venture capital, it was hard to make time to go to the gym. As I ballooned up to 233 lbs in November 2023 (see photo), I knew I had to find a solution.

As for the concept of Body20 I’ve seen a lot of improvements from improved balance to more muscle tone. In between workouts at Body20 I still go to a separate gym, but having both really compliments each other.

Body20 is unlike any workout routine I have ever tried, in all the best ways. I’ll preface this review by saying I absolutely hate working out and have a long and unsuccessful history of signing up at workout studios like pure barre, team octopus, yoga studios and traditional gyms. I would join with zeal, go a lot for like a week, get burnt out and give up. So when Body20 opened up down the street I decided to give it a try.

The studio - Clean, SO conveniently located to me. I have never had to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes to get suited up and start my workout. There might be other people working out at the same time, but it never feels cramped or crowded like other studios and gyms can.

The Workout - As the name implies, it is literally 20 minutes. SO fast. I am in and out in less time than any other workout I have ever done. You alternate between cardio and strength on different days. It’s a bit odd at first because you wear this fairly wet life jacket type thing and the pulsing takes some getting used to, but it’s not painful at all. It weirdly feels kind of cool (at least to me). The first couple of times I felt a bit sore, but not anymore. I wouldn’t say the workouts are FUN, but to someone that hates working out, I am far from miserable while doing them.

The people - Everyone there is super nice. Lauren and Dawn at the front desk are so sweet, and Joey the manager/owner and all the trainers are fantastic. You don’t always know which trainer you are going to get for each session, but they have all been awesome. Phillip and Bryan are my absolute favorites, they have such great energy, but honestly, they are all really, really good. It’s so nice to have 1 on 1 attention the entire time, especially if you are uncoordinated and unathletic like me. All the trainers are quick to make sure my form is correct or adjust the exercises if I need to modify them for my fitness level.

The App - Everything is done on the app for scheduling, which is super easy and convenient. It is user friendly to schedule and or change a session and now it even shows you which trainer you get each time. You can also track all your progress and stats there too. I was worried when I joined it would be hard to snag good times, but that has never been an issue for me and you can schedule sessions a week or two in advance.

Results: I am 2 months into body20 and have never missed a session, which is saying something for me. I’m not super hard core about tracking my stats but I am a few pounds, have more muscle and less body fat. And I just feel better on days when I do it. Can’t wait to see how I look/feel after more time!

I'm a founding member at the Brookhaven club in Atlanta GA. They opened Spring of 2023. I immediately saw the value of this concept as soon as I was introduced to it, and I had to join. Time is a precious commodity and this is a huge help with my busy life.

I have worked out with several of the coaches there, and all of the coaches are excellent, but Phillip and Khary are my two favorites. I've spent the most sessions with them. They have great personalities, are very welcoming, knowledgeable, and get me to execute a good workout, all within a short period of time. BTW... I'm not the workout type, so me committing to this and going every week, it's a huge accomplishment.

I'm focused on eating right, and that paired with these workouts,
has my weight down almost 20 lbs., and I'm looking and feeling so much better.

I love showing off my muscles now! It freaks me out to feel my arms! Seriously! I now have real pumped up biceps. Never thought I would see those on me! Crazy!

It’s not just getting hooked up to a machine and laying there and leaving pumped, although you do leave pumped, but you gotta work for it. The electric shock stimulation is so intense that each movement is like 100x harder than it would be w weights. In fact it would be impossible to stimulate as much muscle fiber in a weight lift rep that you do w one 10 sec rep on the EMS machine. How do I know this? Uh, the soreness I feel the next day or 4 days afterwards. Like nothing I felt with even my most intense gym workouts. I know there are some “do it at home” versions of these workouts, but no way I would do it. Vital in my mind to have the personal trainer and the trained pro there with you monitoring the voltage or what I call shock value. Joey, Phillip, Kahry, Maggie, Kia are awesome personal trainers. Actually they’re all awesome. The owners, Jason and Leslie are pretty awesome as well, loved the family atmosphere that’s radiated there. If you wanna take your workouts to another level then def go there. It’s not a sub for your usual workouts in my opinion but definitely has its place as a significant accelerant.

I began my fitness journey with Body20 five weeks ago, and I have consistently been doing one strength training session and one cardio session per week. In addition, I have been supplementing with an extra 30-minute lifting session each week.

The results have been nothing short of amazing! The EMS training provided by Body20 has greatly improved my endurance, strength, and overall cardiovascular fitness. As someone who works 60-70 hours per week, finding time to prioritize my fitness has always been a struggle. It usually ends up being the first thing I sacrifice when my schedule gets busy.

However, Body20 has been a lifesaver for me. Not only are the sessions only 20 minutes long, twice a week, but I am also achieving similar results to when I used to spend five days a week at the gym. The EMS therapy effectively tones my muscles and burns fat like nothing I've ever experienced before.

In just five short weeks of incorporating Body20 into my routine, I have managed to lose 5 pounds of body fat while increasing my muscle mass in all major muscle groups. This has been a game changer for my husband and I. I’m a personal trainer with over 25 years of experience in the industry, and this is one of the most effective and efficient strength workouts.
