Paul truly listens to what his client is saying. I knew absolutely zilch about strength training, yet I knew it was exactly what I needed after losing weight. With a history of back, balance and shoulder issues could I even be a candidate?
Paul listened carefully and assured me, I could benefit. He shared he even has some clients who come to him in a wheelchair and not on a walker!
Understanding my injury prone areas, He judiciously watched my form: back straight, feet and hands positioned correctly and range of motion in the safe zone.

Update March 2025 - I have been going to Body Design since July of 2023 and it has been the best decision ever. I have observed a significant improvement in my body tone, strength and overall energy. Really grateful and excited to continue on this journey.
I picked Body Design based on all the 5 star reviews. I wanted to get serious about my health and fitness and could not have found a better place. I have been to 1:1 personal training and trained at larger gyms but Paul's approach has been the best I have found. Paul has a holistic focus that covers everything from the actual workout to nutrition to general wellbeing. The most surprising thing has been how comfortable I feel going to his gym - I know I will get a thorough workout while meeting wonderful, friendly people. It is amazing how Paul has ensured an atmosphere of camaraderie and focus. I have been going for a little over a month now and can already sense a difference in my energy levels and I know this is one place I will definitely stay.

I highly recommend Paul as a personal trainer. He is attentive and motivating. The workouts are challenging yet Paul is conscious about my problem areas (knees) to prevent further issues. Paul is also very supportive with nutritional guidance. Since I started training with Paul I have lost over 60lbs, with the majority of fat lost being replaced with muscle!

Paul is the best! He really listened to my health/fitness goals and helped me achieve them while working around a couple of injuries. My right elbow and knee were injured when I started working out with Paul. After a lot of research, I found the full body improvement package at Body Design. A passion for fitness and overall health is clearly the driving force for Paul, owner/trainer. He has decades worth of knowledge, so I trust my fitness journey is in good hands. I was with a great group of trainers prior to joining Body Design so I had a decent foundation, but felt it was time for 1:1 attention if I was going to progress. Paul listened to my goals, created a plan, and set the plan into action. I know that each time I enter for my session, I will get a workout focused on my goals with the highest priority on not getting hurt in the process. I am now 60 days in and can already see muscle growth!
Some important points to note:
Safety is #1 - In addition to correct form, we are taught how to properly and safely dismount all equipment (from a bench, machine, or Bosu ball) and rerack weights, etc.
Cleanliness - Paul has firm policies on keeping his awesome gym clean! Always carry a towel, wear grip gloves, clean up after yourself. Simple!
Flexibility - My schedule is busy and sometimes changes to my schedule are necessary. Paul will work with me if I need to adjust timing or switch days. It's important to him that we get in our sessions within a given week.
Progress - Paul consistently assesses my abilities, checks in with me, and pushes me to achieve my goals. I'm so excited to see the results after the next 60 days!
Encouragement/Positivity - Paul is a fantastic coach, encouraging with feedback and always has a positive demeanor. There is a great vibe throughout all members of the gym and it starts with Paul.
Fun - While I have worked with other trainers and gyms, this is the first place where I have had interaction with other members. It's nice to have someone to share the "OMG, it's leg day" angst. Throughout the year, Paul will throw in month long tournaments with weekly themes. It makes you feel part of a team!

Paul is simply THE BEST trainer! He takes time to make sure You are using proper form and the correct weight. He watches you through every exercise And pushes you to levels you never thought you could achieve. Compared to when I work out on my own the the level of intensity is so much greater with Paul. He is so knowledgeable and answers all my questions I have about Nutrition ,cardio, and various workouts. He really is the man to see. He has taken my workouts to a whole nother level! I have never been more lean and have more muscle mass in my whole entire life. Before having Paul as a trainer I was just spinning my wheels doing the same cardio and light weight exercises not really knowing what I'm doing. Paul made it all seem so simple and is there to teach you new things Every day. When I started training with Paul I had been working out so I had a good solid base, but I felt like I had hit a wall and wasn't making any progress. Paul was able to (quickly) evaluate my current ability, and has done an amazing job mixing up my training, pushing me (which I love) to achieve more, and adding new training methods that I have really enjoyed and have re-energized my workouts. He is always watching my technique to prevent injury, encourages me to push myself, and is always right there to encourage. I watch him with clients with less experience than me and with clients that have more - he adapts each workout to each client. Lastly, what I really love, is he isn't watching the clock- he works with me until my workout is done! Definitely worth the investment!

Paul is the real deal. I'm 21 pounds down with many more to go. As trainers go, Paul has that figured out. He keeps a fairly consistent routine but knows how to change it up on the fly to maximize your time with him. The people he trains are all individuals with specific needs and goals. Paul works with each of them to accomplish those goals. You get what you pay for. This place and Paul are worth the time and money invested. At least, I think so.

My son Aidan has been working with Paul for about 15 months Last summer he was about 110 pounds . He went up to 117 in about 2 months but we stopped during wrestling season to cut and wrestle 106. My son took 2nd in the state that 2019 season
After wrestling season he went back to Paul and got back up to 117 but kind of stalled but by the end of summer, Aidan finally got the scale moving and got up to 125. This year we didn’t cut and he lifted all the way through the wrestling season and won his first High School State Title
He’s now 148 and about 6feet tall.
Paul Feldman has been a great trainer and has taught him a lot about nutrition If your looking for a strength coach , you can’t go wrong with Paul The guys great. We’re now trying to get to 160 plus by the end of summer. Will see if we can get there but I’d trust no one else’s to train my 16 year old son.

I started training at Body Design Personal Training 3 months ago because I wasn't motivated enough to work out by myself. Even with a 4-week hiatus due to quarantine requirements, I STILL lost fat and inches. Thanks to his nutrition advice/monitoring and personal training sessions 2 or 3 times weekly, I've dropped 8% body fat in abs, 16% in quads, and 11% in triceps -- would NOT have had this success without Paul. He knows how to work around injuries, and provides enormous POSITIVE motivation and expertise through his years of experience. The adage of "You Get What You Pay For" is so true -- consider this an investment in your health, your future! You will not regret it.

I’m having a great experience at Body Design! Paul is a great trainer, patient, fun, and energetic. He has several clients to keep up with but always remembers where you last left off, remembers the proper weight for your exercises, and has your routine ready to go right when you pop through the door. He staggers his clients in a way that keeps him busy, yet gives each person good one-on-one time and focus.
During this pandemic period while we are all expressing caution over the virus outbreak, Paul is great about keeping a clean environment, and reminding his clients to stay clean during and after workouts, including wiping down equipment immediately after use, etc.
I would highly recommend this gym. Paul brings a fresh positive outlook on life, and helps you to focus on being your best. Don’t hesitate to check it out!

I have been working out at Body Design for three months now and it has been amazing! Having played sports throughout my life, I am no stranger to the gym and various workout regimens. So I have never really had much interest in the personal training route.
However, training with Paul has been not only fun and educational, but I have also had some of the fastest progress ever. He really takes time to understand my goals and to tailor my workouts to achieving them. I have had various injuries at times and he keeps this In mind during each session.
The other great thing about Body Design is the overall energy that Paul has established here and how friendly everyone is. This is an “appointment only” gym and the level of personal attention and motivation really makes a difference.

If you are looking for someone to push you & hold you accountable, Paul is your guy! I love that he specializes in +40 because I am not as young as I used to be. He understands this but still pushes me harder than I would ever push myself. I had gastric sleeve surgery so I have different nutritional needs & challenges than most clients. He has experience with gastric sleeve patients so he is familiar with my struggles. I also love that he has me do my cardio after my session. Cardio has never been my thing & this holds me accountable.

Words will never describe the impact Paul made in my life. He was the “tough, caring” trainer and mentor that I couldn’t find for many prior years. I loved my workouts and the results were nothing but AMAZING. 6 months resulted in a 40lb loss, 12.5 inches lost, and great strength build up! The only aspect I miss of moving away from GA is my training sessions with Paul, I really miss his enthusiasm and motivation, it’s rare to meet such a wonderful person that was not just my trainer/facilitator but became a true friend!!! At Paul's I feel that I am a person and NOT a payment.
I am new at his place. Before I was working out with another trainer at another gym for 3 years, I felt stagnant and stale there.
At my previous gym I felt like a payment, not a person.
So, I did some changes and now I am training with Paul at Body Design facility.
Only two weeks into a program and I am already seeing results and feeling better. The program is tough and classes are challenging, but they are catered towards individual’s capabilities.
The sessions are so well planned and crafted that there is no wasted time during the entire workout. Paul is there constantly coaching and correcting to make sure that I am getting the full benefit of all my workouts. I am noticing a solid increase in my endurance and my strength.
Before I never enjoyed going to the gym, but now I do look forward to my sessions with Paul at Body Design Personal Training.
The gym is maintained well and kept very clean. The equipment is new and very well maintained as well.
Paul is flexible with my schedule which is really very important for me, so I don’t have to miss a class.

Paul has been working with me for 2 months now, I’m stage 4 mestastatic breast cancer. I stopped all activity 2 yrs ago after cancer returned. Finding Paul was the best thing that has happened in years. Not only has he been able work with all of my medical problems, I can see my health getting so much better. 3 months ago I couldn’t walk up my driveway without being out of breath. I now look forward to exercising and seeing how much I can achieve each week. By the way I had a double mastectomy, left lower lung removed, and reconstruction. I did join a gym so I could workout on my off days. Paul’s always making sure I’m doing everything properly so I don’t get hurt. He is always encouraging me and everyone there.
