If I could give this place No stars, I would. LA fitness says that their pool is clean and taken care of but they’re wrong when I worked there for a week and a half to two weeks every time I got out of the pool after my five hour shift I burned and itched for three days straight, not only that the owner guy Atique fired me for asking his employee my higher up if I could go get food and they said yes and they haven’t put me on the schedule for three weeks. I called today and he fired me because I was “ arguing “ with him. He asked me if I left to go get food and I said yes because your employee told me that it was OK and he said to stop arguing with him and I never did so if you guys choose British swim school, be prepared to be scammed the kids only get five minutes each with the instructor during the 30 minute class there’s allowed to be six kids in each class. Keep that in mind and keep your eyes on your children because they are not.

Mr. Calvin and Ms. Chrissie are amazing swim instructors. They are patient, encouraging, and make learning fun and safe. Highly recommend them! Amelie is the sweetest with children at the Sugar Hill location. She makes the kids feel comfortable and excited to learn. We really appreciate her kindness and patience

BSS is an amazing swim school. My youngest child is currently in Turtle 2 and there’s already a lot of progress…Her older siblings were here at some point and did great with the trainers too. The trainers are cool, and very easy to deal with. The schedules are flexible and so are the people in charge.

We are very happy with BSS. The instructors are great with kids. Mr. Calvin has consistently taught my kids and they have come a long way. The milestones are quite measured and the app makes it easy to reschedule sessions when needed. Customer support is also prompt in assistance.

My daughter started here and went thru a couple of instructors until we found a good fit for her. She absolutely loves Calvin and he does such a great job with her. His firm but kind nature is perfect for kids who may be a little more energetic or hyperactive. He can definitely handle her energy in an EFFECTIVE way which is rare. I highly recommend Calvin!

My son loves swim school on the level Turtle 1 at Sugar Hill.
He has got a cast on left but he will go back to class sooner. He loves his teacher because He is the best teacher ever.

My kids are having a wonderful time! The teachers are very patient and aware of the different levels of each child. I like the structure of the class and allowing kids to build on their water skills at their own pace. Looking forward to how the kids continue to progress!

Chrissie is the best swimming instructor in the Buford location. As a adult and learning swimming is challenging. But she made it so easy and comfortable. She listens to my health issues and makes the classes very welcoming.

I have been taking my kids here for a little over 2 years on and off I have seen MANY faces at both locations.Ms. Tina has been the one constant since she started, always so willing to go above and beyond for the families and students. I have gotten to know her very well and she is an amazing young lady. I have never experienced anything less than perfection from her she is amazing. I do want to shine some light on two instructors that I noticed have been doing an amazing job. Ms.Chrissie and Mr. Danny do such an amazing job encouraging and giving feedback on the students. I do miss seeing Ms. Aanya but I got a glimpse of her this weekend glad she is still around!

Terrible experience at LA FITNESS! 😡

Today I visited LA FITNESS with my 7-year-old daughter, hoping that swimming would help regulate her anxiety
symptoms. After registering and getting a 7-day trial, we started swimming in the pool. Not even a minute passed before an enraged representative of the British Swim School (which rents the pool for its lessons) ran up to us and started yelling that my child was not allowed to be there! 😠

The LA FITNESS manager stated that children under 14 are not allowed to swim in the pool. But there were already dozens of 5-8 year old children swimming in the pool! It turned out that only those who paid the British Swim School were allowed to swim. This is discrimination! I am a member of LA FITNESS and I have the right to equal access to services, like everyone else. 🤬

What outraged me the most was the rudeness of the school representative (Tina). She yelled, interrupted, and rudely kicked us out of the pool. However, she communicated politely with other black people. This is discrimination based on skin color! 😤

As a result, we were kicked out, my child was crying, and her ADHD symptoms worsened. The LA FITNESS manager admitted that this is discrimination and a monopoly of the British Swim School. 😡

I have already found a lawyer and we are preparing a complaint to the Antimonopoly Committee and a lawsuit for discrimination against both companies.

I started my classes in November with another friend, and due to the holidays, we had to miss several classes. Tina was very accommodating and had helped us reschedule our makeover classes. We had great trainers who could make us feel confident and comfortable.

This is kind of the best of a bunch of bad options if I'm being honest.

It's not far off from being great, but never really fired on all cylinders. On the other hand, my daughter can swim now.

Their hearts in the right place, I'd likely take my next child to these guys. If they could tighten up their organization a little, I think it would go a long way. Be your own advocate, you'll have an experience that's good enough!

This is a great example of how locally owned and operated business grows. Most of the members of the staff including owners are from around the area we live in and they always gives us welcoming feeling. My daughter did her swimming class there and now my 5 years old son is doing it for last 2.5 years. We love it and highly recommend this place. Instructors, staff and owners are always available to answer any questions.
