This is my 5th year, since I joined Crossfit PTC. When I look back, it's one of those handful of decisions that turned out to be right and made a positive impact on my life. CFPTC has immensely helped in building confidence in my body's strength and ability. I have attempted things I would have never dared to, if not for the confidence I gained at CFPTC. I learned a lot of new skills from here.
The best part of CFPTC is the community that they have cultivated and their coaches who really stand out. It does not matter at what level you are in your fitness journey, culture at CFPTC enables you to continue progressing to the next level.

Love this place!! I’ve been coming for almost 2 years and I found a great community of people who are focusing on their fitness and nutrition goals in a fun way that’s supportive, engaging, and effective.

There’s nothing but good that I can say about CrossFit PTC.
I first came here when I was pregnant with my daughter and I never looked back! The coaches tailored the workout to fit my abilities with their expertise, while, at the same time, always encouraging me to push my limits to be the best in myself, and so do other CrossFit fellows at the gym! The programs are well-designed and not a single day is the same. They just made workout so much fun to do!
What’s even beyond my expectations is that they welcomed me to bring my baby to the gym when there was nobody to supervise her at home. The coaches even babysitted for me when I was doing my workout! I am extremely grateful for all the support that the coaches and other members have given me. I just don’t know what else I can ask for.

Coach Jen has been an absolute game changer for my daughter! We were looking for a way to help her build strength and stamina for her upcoming dance season, and what we found with Coach Jen far exceeded our expectations. I have been working with Sarah at CrossFit PTC for about 2 months now and I am happy with my progress. I was looking to find a new trainer to help me work out while functioning with reoccurring vertigo and Sarah was my person. She has made the exercise process very accommodating to my condition. Sarah is very patient and allows me to take my time but she definitely makes me work! We have a plan and set goals and she is helping me achieve them. Even on days when I don’t see her she still messages me to hold me accountable for my extra curricular activities. I started CrossFit at PTC when I was 3 months pregnant. With the amazing guidance of the coaches I was able to workout until 37 weeks and had an amazing delivery at 38 weeks. I am a firm believer that staying active during pregnancy and after has vastly improved my health, the health of our baby, and my overall recovery. CrossFit isn’t this intimidating exercise regimen where people simply lift heavy weights. Loving my CrossFit PTC!
I joined this gym a few months ago. I've been doing sports throughout my whole life (cross county skiing, triathlons, SUP racing), but never had formal training in weight lifting. So I wanted to focus on building muscles mass without getting injured. I've got through a series of private lessons with CrossFit PTC instructors to go over multiple aspects of lifting weights. Being a lifetime athlete, I was very pleased to learn something new in every session. The weekly training sessions are fun and hard! Each session starts with revisiting the basics on the weight exercise scheduled for this session. And after that, they make your work hard! Mixing weight lifting with cardio workouts is awesome. I am looking forward to see benefits in my SUP racing performance.

2022:
Google doesn’t allow to post a new review so I’m adding my comments with a YYYY prefix.
Before I joined CF, I tried running on my own and avoided sugar and carbs like bread and rice for a while. I lost a few pounds but people who hadn’t seen me in a while asked me (concerned) if I was well or doing okay. I realized that in the process of losing fat, I wasn’t looking or feeling stronger at all.
After 3 years of CrossFit, I feel stronger each day and love looking at myself in the mirror. Thanks to CrossFit, STRONG is the new beautiful/handsome haha!
Again, I can’t say how other CF boxes are but this one at PTC on Kelly Drive has some of the best coaches who work with you (Sarah, Joshua, Ric, Jen, Stacey, Jeff, Andrea…) and I love the thought given behind every day, week and month’s programming by Jeff. There are always opportunities of scaling of pushing yourself depending on hard you wish to go or not. Once you start consistently working out, hitting PRs, all the other elements like nutrition, sleep, water intake start falling in place. If you lack the motivation to jump start something on your own or have tried a few things and been unable to stay consistent, this is for you. Once you start seeing results, you’ll get addicted for sure!

Tons to say about it. Can go on and on!
This is the first “gym” of any kind that I’ve ever joined in my life (not counting the one in Japan 10 years ago where I used a treadmill twice and enjoyed the jacuzzis and saunas only). It has been “life changing”. Wish I had joined CrossFit earlier. I can’t say how other Crossfits are but this one has amazing coaches; Nathan, Quentin are whom I’ve worked with so far (they work with you from scratch on your form, your potential and motivate you to doing more for your own good). The entire staff and the the people that show up in your class or others - it’s all like a big family having fun!

I cannot say enough. You’ve got to try it and see for yourself. Give it time, whatever your goals are. Be consistent and honest in your diet picks. All you have to do is show up and they will take care of the rest :)
No matter how well you do or don’t in your workout, you will always thank them from your heart 😊❤️.

I was nervous and a bit scared but made the decision to commit to 3 months of Personal Training and then re-evaluate. I have not had a moment of regret! My first class was yesterday (6/15/21). I took my class with Ric and he was a great instructor. He's very good with showing people the correct techniques regarding CrossFit. I never liked going to the gym, wondering around debating on what to do next and never really pushing myself. As intimidating as CrossFit sounded, I tried out a six week challenge. The workouts are planned for you, yes, they are hard, but everything can be scaled to your level. The workouts are never boring, the members are friendly, and the coaches give you that push you need when you need it. My only regret is not starting years sooner.

CFPTC has totally changed my life! I've always been dedicated to fitness and health (I'm a health educator by profession), and love playing sports and being active. However going to the gym and running never gave me the results I felt like I should have had given the amount of time I was putting in. I learned after joing CFPTC that was because I wasn't working out efficiently and properly with whole body, weight based exercise.

After 1 year at CFPTC, the gains I made in strength and muscle tone were incredible. As a nice bonus, I lost a size and about 10lbs I had carried around for years (even after marathon running and daily workouts). I'm a loyal 10am-er and have been going now for 2 years (every other month due to work). But even though I am limited in my time there, my baseline of muscle and strength is definitely there and comes back quickly after I've been away.

Another great bonus to CFPTC is that I have made an incredible group of friends. It's my favorite part of coming home- getting to see my CFPTC family at the end of a long trip. And it's super fun to be able to crossfit around the world at other boxes now too. I can drop in and I have a great baseline so I can get a good workout in when I travel. Being part of this network is not only fun, but also extremely rewarding in so many ways.

I will never look back from CrossFit now- it's become one of the best parts of my daily routine. CFPTC is also a great beginner box where you can work on your basics and get a strong foundation without injury. I was nervous when I started but there was no reason to be! Joining here was the best decision I have made in a very long time.

This is one of the only gyms that let kids join. They have great classes for kids of all ages. My son first started out there and then I soon joined as well. Absolutely LOVE this gym! Great staff that helps with my nutrition and coaches willing to help modify workouts with all my injuries. Started last year and down 40lbs, stronger and healthier. It is what keeps me coming everyday (well at least 5 days a week) Couple that with awesome coaches and staff, it is truly something I look forward to doing everyday. I have been a member at this box for almost 5 years, attending nearly every day during the vast majority of that time. The ownership and coaching staff are fantastic, friendly, and professional. Having been to several other boxes around the country and seeing all of the changes over the years, I can definitely say that the owners continue to invest back into the business.

CFPTC does a great job of building up their box community through events and special programs. We hold our own Crossfit Open Intramural event every year. We host a Memorial Day Murph event every year. There are various team based events, including nutritional challenges. There are regular partner- and team-based workouts on Saturdays. The membership includes a surprisingly large number of couples and families, which I think speaks volumes to both how well the business has been run and how much thought and care goes into the base of programs (and programming) available. The community of members is very friendly and welcoming.

The Crossfit programming is challenging enough for the more competitive, but accessible enough for new members as they join (made even more accessible by the attentive and well-credentialed coaching staff). My wife has also recently started the Crossfit program as well, having come up through the bootcamp program and Shred program (think, Crossfit without barbells). It is also one of the few boxes around that has a legitimate children's program, spanning from the little Ninjas to Crossfit Kids to the Varsity program for the older teens. It has been a fantastic thing for my 11 year old daughter, who has now been doing Crossfit for about 2.5 years.

Overall, it has been an amazing experience for me and my family and I know several other families that can absolutely claim the same. If you are looking for a place to start your fitness journey, then come by and check it out - chances are, I will be there when you do.

So I’ve been going to this place for a couple of months and have nothing but praise for the trainers, the WODs and the peers that make this awesome community!
But what really made me sit down and write this review was a small personal triumph over a small personal problem. Cold feet!
Im 6'2 and US 13 shoe size. For many years now, when my feet are cold they start to cramp up. So I layer socks to try and keep them warm but all I get is cold sweaty feet with atomic BO. I think I will live but it would be nice to have a way to keep my feet warm.
So Shel and Logan did this seminar where they showed a neat little trick you can do to your feet to make you more flexible. And since I’m as flexible as drift wood and motivated like Garfield this was right up my alley! After about three days of doing it I started noticing that my feet were ‘on fire’ just after 1min. What a result!!! I am doing it right now, sitting in the office, typing this review. Also, Im only 6in away from touching my toes without bending my knees from the 12in a week ago BOOM!
