Unfortunately, our experience here hasn’t been great. We enrolled our child with high hopes, but ultimately had to withdraw for several reasons. The gym is not air conditioned, and during the hot Georgia summer, the indoor temperatures were genuinely uncomfortable and at times felt unsafe — especially for young kids engaging in physical activity. When I raised this concern, the response I received was essentially “It’s just Georgia heat,” which felt dismissive and didn’t reflect a commitment to providing a safe environment.

We also didn’t feel our child was receiving much instruction during classes. There was very little guidance or structure, and we left sessions unsure of what skills were being taught or developed. On top of that, the gym charged us for August tuition even though I submitted our drop request within the required timeframe. It’s a 45-minute drive for us, and between the lack of structure, heat, and billing issues, it just wasn’t worth it.

I appreciate the coaches who were kind to my child, but I hope the gym takes this feedback seriously — both for the safety of the kids and the trust of families investing in these programs.

Our daughter has been taking tumbling classes for about 4 years with Defying Gravity. They have been wonderful, working on tumbling skills, social interaction, and they are super flexible with her ever changing schedule. The staff & coaches are always friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend them enough!

My daughter has been at Defying Gravity since she was four. She loves it! She has risen through various stages and is now on the bronze team. The coaches are skilled, attentive, and patient, and the front desk staff is friendly.

We are still fairly new to Defying Gravity, but my daughter is loving it! Her coach does a fantastic job of praising the kids and giving high-fives. It’s such a great motivator for little ones and helps with positive reinforcement. Thank you, Coach Cam!

Our 3.5 and 5 year old sons attended a week of summer camp and they loved it! The theme for the week was around animals and they brought in animals for the kids to touch. They also came home with the cutest animal crafts each day. Our boys had the best time and did not want to come home at the end of each day. Wish they offered more camps!

It says it opens on Wednesdays at 9am for open play, I was there at 9am and the doors were closed and no sign of anybody inside. Also there are broken windows on the inside, that was my first time trying this place, I honestly don’t think I’ll go back.

The coaches used to be amazing but the “office manager” is by far the rudest person on the planet and the owner complied with her and doesn’t take the paying customer into account. For instance, our daughter had been enrolled since she was a little over a year until she was 4. During that time, we had 4 different coaches only 2 of which I’d say were trained adequately to coach toddlers. One literally yelled at the children and threw her hands up in frustration and when the parents looked at her with concern she sheepishly coiled away and was embarrassed. When we addressed our concerns and noticed that the kids spent less and less time in and on the gym equipment or learning a new skill and were instead, chasing bubbles… we were informed of a new class on a different day. We excitedly switched days hoping to see a change, and we did for about a month and then another new coach suddenly appeared with no communication from management (for the 3rd time). When expressing interest in finding another gym on a private platform the “office manager” somehow found out and used it to terminate our contract via email without ever trying to rectify or clarify our concerns. The email was rude and distasteful at that. The owner also doesn’t care. I had high hopes for them but now realize why they’ve changed their gym name and relocated several times over the course of the past several years. Don’t waste your time or money if you’re trying to find a fun outlet for your little ones. You can save your $80+ a month and play with bubbles in your own yard.

Editing to include that the only “accommodation” ever “provided” was to see if we wanted to switch to a less busy day (Friday) which we did as mentioned above. Teresa is unfriendly, unprofessional, and insincere. The reply below might have some truth to it (refunded the partial/ remaining balance) but omitted their lack of communication to speak directly with me to “investigate” the true concerns instead of hiding behind the keyboard. Good riddance.

We’re new to Georgia and my daughter is a competitive gymnast. We had tried 2 other gyms before trying this one. I would say about 5 minutes into their tryout, my daughter had the biggest grin on her face, and when they were done with their tryout, my daughter, Coach Anna, and Coach Starr came running out to me all 3 with BIG smiles and ready to work. This gym has been the best decision ever. Coach Anna and Coach Starr have been amazing with my daughter, she has grown as a gymnast and a leader since we’ve been there. The staff has been great too! They are flexible, understanding and really work with parents in terms of payments. This gym has a great family feel to it, and I’m SO. GLAD to be a part of this gym. I also love watching how it’s growing too! The classes have grown so much since we’ve been there. Sign of great things to come!

My 10yo daughter has been taking gymnastics here for a couple years. She absolutely loves it! Staff are always courteous and polite and the owner is delightful. Prices are reasonable and the coaches really know what they are talking about. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to bring their child here.

My kiddo started recently going here for gymnastics and she loves it. The staff is nice and the teachers seem very friendly. They also have two viewing rooms where you can watch your kiddo. With the free 1 time session to try it out it’s a win win to see if it’s a match for your family’s gymnastics need!

I just signed our daughter up for her very first Gymnastics Lesson! The coaches seemed enthusiastic and encouraging taking the time to assist those children who needed it. Our daughter went home that day and started practicing on her own! She is completely motivated!!

Our family is thrilled with Genesis and their wonderful, talented coaches and helpful staff. We joined about a month ago after having issues with a previous nearby gym. Here at Genesis, my daughter gets the individual attention and training she needs for her specific skill level - rather than simply being grouped by her age (5). Most importantly - she is being challenged to be the best gymnast she can be.

I have finally found a wonderful gym in Integra Gymnastics and Cheer. All the coaches truly love what they do and it shows through the attention, interest and hands on instruction given to their students. My daughter has thrived under the direction of coach Shelley Wilcox and cannot wait to come back each and every time. Needless to say, this gym has become a second home for us in the Kennesaw/Acworth area and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

We had heard that this gym in the Kennesaw / Acworth area was under new ownership & had new coaches. We took my daughter to visit the staff & she immediately fell in love with the coaches & we made a family decision to switch from a different local gym she has been attending for years. Been at Integra Gymnastics for around a month and her fitness & skills have never been better. Coach Shelly has whipped her into shape in a very short amount of time in preparation for the competitive season. The entire place has a good & positive vibe. My daughters 12, but I love watching the little ones learn the skills. They look like they are having a blast!! Everyone I've spoke to is happy with Integra, and so are we..
