Love this gym the staff are like family! This is the first gym that I have joined where I am welcomed at the door and called by NAME when I come in. Jody always makes it a point to check on
Me and asked me how my week has been. The gym manager also has knocked it out of the park by not only checking on how I can become a spin instructor but also follows up with me whenever he sees me. I feel like family when I’m here working out. Definitely recommend this gym 🏋️‍♂️

Super nice friendly staff, They’ll teach you how to use equipment or anything you have questions with. ESPECIALLY Timothy Lord😉, the manager. Every time you come in him and the other staff members greet you with a smile and are happy to see you. Also probably the cleanest gym I’ve seen, I’ve ever seen any dust in this gym.

I'm not saying Tim is a miracle worker, but I've seen some crazy transformations at Destiny Fitness since he took the helm. Gym rats are still gym rats, but now they're slightly more enthusiastic about wiping down equipment after use. Seriously though, Tim genuinely cares about the members and always has a smile ready. The dude knows his stuff, too - he'll spot you on the bench press and actually give you pointers. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you want to get swole and have a good time. In just 3 months of me being there I have made vast improvements in weight, strength, and stamina; all thanks to Tim! Check out my 3 month transformation!

Destiny Fitness of Sylvester gym, is my home. Fitzgerald gym feels like "Home away from Home". The staff was friendly when I walked in and made me feel like a celebrity. I love the music, temperature of the gym and equipment. The male name J.R. was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable on the equipments. He stayed busy with folding and keeping the Destiny gym attire nice and neat. As well as working the computer and assisting others in the gym. Thanks J.R. for helping me use the equipments the correct way. Thanks for being nice and welcoming me to this gym. So glad I chose Destiny Fitness. If your in Fitzgerald, your missing out , if your not at this gym.

Destiny Fitness is the go to #2 Gym in Georgia after Planet Fitness in Tifton The Machines are old but work great, the employees are friendly especially the girl who works up front at nights I believe she works at Tidal Wave Good thing she does her job best at the Fitness Center than at the Damn Car Wash

My husband and I have recently re-joined Destiny Fitness of Fitzgerald, and I now remember why we had dropped membership. Much of the equipment is broken. Of about 6 elliptical machines, only a couple work. Members pay a maintenance fee once a year. The equipment should be better maintained. We will be looking for other gym options.

needs a chest dip stand & a sled hack squat. these are gym essentials. if they had these this would be a perfect gym. they’d get a lot more members if they got these two pieces of equipment because all my friends didn’t join because of that reason. other then then, it’s a pretty good gym.

Gym fees going up but tanning beds don’t always work. Imagine applying tanning lotion all over just to try to turn the tanning bed on and it won’t work.... so put those clothes back on all over that wet tanning lotion just to wait for another bed to free up. When the gym first relocated, never had issues. The floors in tanning area are usually pretty nasty too. I have also started bringing my own lysol wipes because have entered tanning bed room to find the bottle of cleaner is empty. Not sure why fees are going up, unless it’s to hire good help and purchase beds that work.

I would recommend this gym despite the fact that the equipment and building is pretty old. I went for around 3 months every morning and did not have any problems. The manager is always there if you need service and you don't really have to share the equipment. I'm speaking for myself, I went around 8 am every morning 5x a week and saw the usual group of people. There is probably 5-10 others who use this gym the same time as I do and there have been several times where the gym is completely empty, especially later in the morning (9-11 am).

Good gym. Has all the equipment you need for a full workout. Free weights and machines, cardio too. Taylor, working the gym when I was there, is knowledgeable and friendly. They have 24 hr access for members, and accept quests.
