Great gym.

Pros:
Never crowded.
Great machines and free weights.
They have great trainers if you need them.
The gym is open 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
Plenty of positives here.
Staff is friendly.

Cons:
The scan tags they give you to scan in at the front also double as the door opener and they wear out pretty quick so you have to buy another one from time to time.
Not always the cleanest but it's not the employees fault. Just dirty people that coming in after the employees leave or before the employees get there in the morning.

Overall:
Great local gym that's never crowded.

Has everything I need. Nothing fancy. Just the basics. They have classes if that's your thing. I think they have childcare during certain hours too. Best gym in Flowery Branch. Some of the best people too. Old school vibe. 24 hour access. Hidden away behind Publix across the street from the hotel.

Rarely ever as busy as some of the other gyms around.

If anything ever breaks, it's usually fixed pretty quickly.

Can't say that I would recommend this gym to anyone. only joined because there were no other alternatives nearby. When I called to cancel just four days after my billing cycle, i was told that I would be billed for another month with no prorate. Nice!! posting this to discourage anyone else from making the same mistake.

I’ve been a member for almost two years. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this gym. The facilities are always clean and the staff is wonderful, especially Stephanie, who is the manager. Its has an easy going, family feeling. It’s 24 hour access allows me to workout anytime my schedule permits.

Employee is unpleasant to deal with. Don't be fooled by her fake front. A room with useful equipment and space for routines that require space is locked away and is only for a select few of people to use. Too cold with too many fans. The moment you start to sweat you are instantly freezing, unless you move nonstop or bundle up. For me, its both. It is the example of a family gym, other than the fact that groups of kids is common and can be hard to deal with. Which could be difficult for serious trainers, but great for others. The best pricing you'll find in northeast Georgia. Full range, with the exception of a few, of equipment. Like everyone says is maintained.

Absolute dump!!! Machines are falling apart ( rusted and pins wont go into the weights you need ). Very. Close to each other to where it is elbows to elbows when working out. If you have a family membership both adults are required to sign in to use gym even if you go together. Some machines dont have the pin option to adjust the weights. Very discouraging for small petite people. Here's the kicker - there is a massage/hair salon behind the front desk. Very weird...RUN DOWN....Go the the YMCA!!!!

I love this gym! Friendly staff, great classes, they have all the equipment needed for a great work out and it’s not too crazy crowded. Plus, I’ve never ran into one of “those” guys—you know, the creepy dudes that are always at the big chain gyms. Not here though! I feel 100 safe and comfortable coming to work out at any time.

Went here to work out with a friend and introduce him to lifting, but was completely discouraged from coming back here by the time I was finished. My initial reaction upon entrance was, "Wow, this place is really impressive for being so tucked away." I didn't actually use any of the cardio equipment, but their cardio setup looked pretty good. If you're looking for cardio, then this is the place for you.

My main gripe is the cable machine as well as some of the machines seem like they aren't properly calibrated. The cable machine, I'm 100% certain is borked proper. I started my workout with cable close-grip pull downs. (Side note: the carabiner clip on one side was jammed and you can't change the handles, the clip on the other side doesn't secure properly which is nbd, but noted) When I went to go do my set, it was incredibly easy. I normally rep 95lbs., and I started increasing resistance until I felt like I was getting to what I'm used to repping. I got up to 180lbs. rep before I felt like I was getting my normal resistance. SICK GAINZ, BRO? Except no because I weigh 180lbs, so I would be lifting myself off the ground at this point and just doing cable pull ups, amirite? I guess I was so confused at that point, that all of my machine workouts felt not calibrated, so I just banged put some dumbbell workouts and abs and left. I'm sure my friend who actually was a member to this gym felt a little discouraged to work out after this as well.

I don't trust these machines to give me an accurate representation of my strength, so I can't come back here. If you're looking for somewhere cheap to do cardio, dumbbell, or barbell workouts only, you've found your place, friend.
