I recently moved to the area. I went in to check out the gym based on recommendations, and they got everything. Indoor and outdoor and they even brought some outdoor stuff inside because it’s so hot.

Really awesome owners, and really great price!

Definitely a good spot if your serious about building muscle. They have options for all levels, but for serious lifters, they got every machine I could think that I wanted.

I’ve been a member for less than a year at Firehouse and it’s by far the best gym in the area! Just the right amount of all kinds of equipment to help you reach all your goals. I love the treadmills! Spacious, clean, and the employees are so friendly! They are always so welcoming with the greatest greetings, and are very helpful and knowledgeable. I actually locked my keys out my car and they were so quick to lend a helping hand and that just comes to show how much they care for their members! As a single mom, the daycare (with the awesome caretakers) is a big plus!

I have not been a member of a "traditional" gym in over a decade. I have been doing group fitness for years. It has been a pleasure becoming a member of Firehouse. Everyone has been beyond nice and welcoming to me, my husband, and many of my friends who have also become members. It is not overly busy even at the peak hours which is very nice. We prefer to incorporate functional fitness into our workouts, so our workouts look bit different. They have a HIIT area which has been great. Everyone has been super helpful in making sure that we are able to get the kinds of workouts we choose. I will say that it is quite humid in the building at times, but I go to the gym to sweat so I do not mind it much. Some of the machines are older, but there is so much equipment that you can always find another one or something almost exactly the same. There is an array of classes as well. Firehouse provides many amenities and choices to help you keep fit and healthy. I am very pleased thus far and would recommend Firehouse.

First off the staff is amazing definitely some of the nicest and most respectful people you will meet. The gym is huge so there's plenty of space. Also, with plenty of space comes plenty of equipment, from dumbbells, strength machines, bikes, treadmills etc.... the gym is one of the best around definitely recommend going here if you want a good workout... 5 out of 5 for me

Firehouse gym is the best! Everyone is friendly and nonjudgmental! I have made a noticeable improvement on my body in the short time I’ve been here as compared to the other 2 gyms near by where I was a member. The staff is very friendly and open to any questions you may have for them. This gym has almost every option available for you to lift! Plenty of free weight benches and dumbbell options. Some of the cardio machines(treadmill‘s) need updated or fixed. Which I see they are or have been working on that issue. A lot of changes are being made. I am pretty sure there are plenty more changes to come. Benches have been getting reupholstered along with some new equipment. So overall there should be no reason or excuses for not being able to come here and absolutely crush a workout everyday!

This gym has every machine and piece of equipment I could dream of. I have no problem working out without having to wait on a machine. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and do a great job at keeping the gym clean. I have personally worked with Robert in the past and he has guided me to where I know how to properly program workouts and use correct form on my own. Overall great place!!!

This place is literally a lifters dream gym. SO MUCH SPACE. SO MUCH EQUIPMENT! Can you believe this gym has a BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT MACHINE? YES PLEASE!

Humor aside, this place is great for all the reasons. It is very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The members are friendly. They are always bringing in new equipment. The locker room is big and has a large mirror, perfect for those pump selfies! I mean, every detail is perfect. The space is large enough to accommodate a large crowd. This gym even has hair dryers on deck. Down to every little detail, this gym makes it apparent that you are their top priority. They see their members as people with goals and ambitions and they do what they can to support that.

That said, the best part is? They do NOT tolerate hate. They have created a wonderful environment that encourages their members to reach their goals, no matter what their goals are.

I can't say enough good things about this gym. It is hands down THE facility to be in. From their trainers, to their classes, to the cardio equipment, they accommodate every style of training. You cannot go wrong with Firehouse Gym Calhoun.

It's so convenient to have care for your kids but 90 dollars is alot and tanning is a separate expense. If your a mom and working full time this is extremely hard on your pocket. I think care is extra as well as the smoothie bar they promote.

Need to play more variety of music. It's mostly hood/gangster rap music. Needs to stay open a later on Saturday and Sunday. ALWAYS HOT AND HUMID INSIDE . Feels like a rainforest it's so humid. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter. Equipment is tearing up. They never check or repair the equipment.

They force you into a contract and then lie and weasel their way around it if you try to cancel it. I moved over 30 miles away and provided proof yet they continued to bill be and say it never happened. Will never return or encourage others to attend. Horrible customer service. I could never get in touch with the manager or get the truth from any of the workers.

The good reviews we're most likely friends of the owners/manager. The equipment is old and breaking down. The personnel are too busy to help you. I was repeatly double charged, finally had to start paying at the desk, I refused to give them my new bank card info. The roof leaks, etc, etc. One plus, after repeated repairs they finally got the showers in shape, pity the plumber didn't understand hydraulics when he plumbed the showers. I was a member for 5-6 years but after they ignored all the other equipment to buy a room full of spin bikes and place video monitors in the parking lot to keep people from necking in the parking lot, I quit. Go to Fitness First or Results Unlimited you'll be happier than you will be with Firehouse.

Roof leaks, no heat in group fitness, poorly managed, if you go to workout on a rainy day watch your step!!...literally buckets on the floor catching water, if you go to a group fitness class in the Winter bring a warm coat as the heat in the fitness room usually not on or broken, plus the group fitness room floods after a rainy night, the staff is decent not overly friendly but okay....take your business elsewhere.
