Incredible, inclusive dance education. The teachers here truly care about the dancers and the experience they have everyday, whether it's routine practice or the big recital. Our daughter is just beginning her ballet journey here and every person at GDC, from the people at the front desk and who greet you at the door, to her teachers who are also students at GDC, the staff, and owners-- every person is invested in making sure the students leave having a positive experience with ballet. This positive atmosphere can be hard to find in the dance world, and we are really excited to watch our daughter grow here.

My daughters really enjoy classes at GDC, we love the location, the faculty, and the end of season shows! We are going for a third year, and they want to try new classes! I really love when the Senior students say goodbye at the end of season show, I can tell they all loved growing up dancing at GDC!!

Wonderful dance education and performance experience for all ages and abilities. Something for everyone- whether your dancer wants to dance a lot or a little, there are many options between various styles of dance including ballet, jazz, tap, conditioning, and contemporary. The instructors keep classes age-appropriate and engaging even for the youngest dancers. Highly recommend!

Our daughter has danced at GDC for 1 year and it has been a great experience! She is very young but still has received age-appropriate dance teaching and has immensely enjoyed her time. She made a lot of progress over the past year and we are so thankful for teachers who are able to connect with her and create a solid foundation at a young age. We had her at another studio in the past but moved her to GDC because we felt it would be a better, more structured dance education. Based on how the first year went, we will be back for year 2.

We have loved dancing at GDC! The instructors are fantastic and treat each dancer individually as to build their confidence and grow them as dancers. The recitals each year get better and better. We highly recommend!

TL;DR Bullying environment owners won't correct. Try another studio.

I wanted to love this studio. It seemed like it was it was attempting to be inclusive, and a great excuse to hang out in the square each week.
After two years missing Nutcracker performances due to the pandemic, my daughter was excited to save money & attend. The show was completely ruined by GDC dancers loudly gossiping about other dancers and teachers by name, and sharing all the ways they enjoy bullying other dancers. Concerned and frustrated, I reached out to the owners. It took over a month to receive a response. . . which was to suggest I buy tickets to their next show. Confused, I asked if they were offering complimentary tickets. Nope. I should buy tickets to another show, and the owner would deign to speak to me. I declined and suggested she do her best to check bullying in their studios. She was offended at the suggestion.

Well, my child came home tonight in tears because dancers were bullying her at class. I won't bother reaching out to the owners, because past experience shows me nothing will be done. I realize dance is naturally competitive, but it doesn't need to be toxic. If you're looking for a nurturing studio, my experience is this is not it.

I love this dance school so much, the teachers, students ,and environment. What a great place for any child to enroll and start from a beginniner level in dance and move to an advanced Level skill in dance. They offer so many options with Tap, HipHop, contemporary, ballet and more. ❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️

I danced at this studio for 5 years, primarily taking ballet. I was thrilled with the expertise of the faculty and the level of choreography I performed. I wish there was more of a bridge between the non-company students, and company students, however. Though I only danced 2 days a week, taking ballet and pointe, I felt rather excluded from the rest of the dance studio who studied in the company at a rather high price.
