gruvnYOGA is one of the most accessible and inclusive yoga studios I’ve been to. Whether you’re a seasoned yoga practitioner or a newbie, there are a multitude of classes for everyone. gruvnYOGA is one of the most diverse, inclusive, and welcoming yoga studios in the great Atlanta area. They offer a full schedule of yoga classes in a variety of styles. From Reg’s Vinyasa to Tina’s Yin and Nidra, there is truly something for everyone here. The studio is impeccably clean, too, and the staff is warm and authentic. Best vibes!!!

Amazing yoga studio! I love the classes offered but it’s the instructors and atmosphere that keep me coming back week after week. It’s such a safe space to learn, explore, and grow in my practice. The classes are fun and often equally insightful in learning something new about a pose or yoga as a practice.

So grateful that gruvnYOGA helped me rediscover my yoga practice. There isn’t a teacher, class, or yogi that isn’t wonderful and welcoming. Such a beautiful community.

Gruvn is, without a doubt, the best yoga studio I’ve ever attended. There is a wide variety of classes offered, with something for everyone—from gentle, restorative flows to energizing and challenging power sessions. The instructors are incredible—so knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely caring. They always encourage you to listen to your body and honor where you are in your own practice.
There is also a genuine sense of community. Heather, the owner, is always there to greet you with a smile. If you are looking for an incredible yoga studio, I highly recommend Gruvn.

I started at Gruvn Yoga this past Summer. It has such a great variety of classes. I wanted a studio that had lots of yin and stretch type classes. Gruvn Yoga fit the bill. It also has lots of power, vinyasa, and all types of classes. The teachers and students are all warm and friendly. What a great place to practice yoga!

GruvnYoga is an absolute gem in East Cobb, Marietta. From the moment you step inside, you immediately feel the warmth and authenticity that set this studio apart. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2003 and have experienced a variety of studios across the nation, but GruvnYoga truly stands out in every way.
The studio embodies yoga philosophy, offering not just a physical practice but a sense of connection, mindfulness, and community. The instructors are incredible—genuinely invested in every student. They greet you by name and create a welcoming space where you feel seen and supported. This personal touch makes each class a special experience.
I particularly love their Vinyasa Slow Flow, Yin Yoga, Nidra, and Restorative classes, but the studio offers such a wide variety of styles and workshops that there’s truly something for everyone. From chai socials to intention-setting workshops, GruvnYoga extends its practice far beyond the mat, enriching all aspects of life.
What makes this studio even more inspiring is its commitment to giving back. GruvnYoga regularly partners with MUST Ministries for coat drives, holiday gifts, and community donation classes. Their outreach reflects the values they teach, making it clear that they practice what they preach.
Heather, the owner, is a remarkable leader. She’s not only a savvy businesswoman but a pillar of the community. Her passion for yoga shines in every aspect of the studio, from the thoughtfully curated classes to the affordable and flexible pricing options. Heather even extends yoga to families, offering classes for young people—including much-needed middle school yoga. My Girl Scout troop even had the privilege of earning their mindfulness badge at GruvnYoga, and it was an unforgettable experience!
If you’re looking for a studio that combines incredible instruction, deep community roots, and an authentic approach to yoga, GruvnYoga is it. It’s more than a studio—it’s a home for your practice and a place to grow in every sense. I can’t recommend it enough!

Really - just the BEST yoga studio! Teachers have an open and caring approach that is great for both beginner and experienced yogis. Heather (owner) has created an atmosphere filled with warmth and welcome - when you walk in the door, you know you're in excellent hands. The studio is lovely - always spotless, configures well for both small and large (up to 15 or so) classes. And there is community here - the studio participates in charitable outreach, and invites students to share in that. I appreciate the personal touch, reassuring each student that this place is for YOU!

Gruvn Yoga Studio in East Cobb has truly been life-changing for me! The welcoming environment and skilled instructors create a safe, supportive space where I’ve connected with an amazing community of yogis who feel like family.
The vinyasa & power yoga practices I’ve learned have helped me manage stress with patience and grace, transforming how I approach challenges in both my family life and career. I’ve gained a calmness and resilience that carry me through even the most hectic days.
Not only has Gruvn Yoga improved my physical health, but it has also done wonders for my mental well-being. The sense of peace and clarity I’ve gained through my practice here is invaluable. Since joining, I feel stronger, more flexible, and more balanced in my body, and my confidence has reached new heights.
More importantly, the mindfulness and meditation practices I’ve learned at Gruvn Yoga have become powerful tools that I use every day.

I have been practicing Yoga for years and hands down, Gruvn Yoga is the best studio I ever practiced at. The studio is always bright, clean, and very well-equipped and the classes are small. However, the greatest thing about Gruven is the people. Heather, the owner, and every instructor in the studio care for you on a physical, mental, and emotional level, honestly invested in every member's well-being. My life has greatly improved since I started practicing there over three years ago

Heather, the owner, welcomed my wife and me with open arms when we walked-in unannounced after she found out we were refugees from Hurricane Helene in Asheville. She squeezed us in to a wonderful fully-booked vinyasa class taught by Reg. Wonderful studio, great people.

I LOVE THIS STUDIO!! I was devastated when my studio closed a few months ago. I tried a couple of other local places and wasn't impressed. Then I tried Gruvn. It's fantastic! Great teachers and the owners are just overall awesome people. I was welcomed by the community and am so happy to have found such a great place to practice yoga!

Tried this for the first time on Sunday for their FREE community class with my partner. We LOVED it and I was actually sore the next day lol As soon as you walk in thru the door, Heather the owner, is there to greet you with warm energy, friendly vibes, and very welcoming. The class was very therapeutic and I didn’t feel judged one bit, because I did sob during certain parts of the class. I can’t wait to experience the grief and support class on Wednesday. The atmosphere of this place is amazing! Thank you so much! I’m so happy I found this place!

Gruvn is incredible. The studio is so warm and inviting, the teachers are incredible, and the owner and her husband are just the best. I was running late to class today due to poor planning on my part and Jay met me at the door, laid a mat and a hand towel out for me, and checked me in...all while I was running in from the rain. If you're looking for a friendly studio with a community feel, this is it.

Gruvn yoga studio: I really love this studio. You get a true sense of community and a warm welcome when you walk in the gruvn doors and are greeted by Heather and the teachers. So far, I have enjoyed all the classes and appreciate the fact that they embrace you working within your own space. I have been a regular in Allisons various classes and they've all been different and inspiring and just what I needed. Robyn's classes are also fantastic. I wish I knew everyones name because they warrant mentioning. They have a class for everyone at any level, from chair yoga to power and everything in between. If you want to be welcomed, seen, heard and understood for your physical limitations this is the place.
Also, they have an outstanding price to try them for a month.

I’m really happy with GruvnYOGA. Last month I decided to get back into yoga. I visited two other centers and GruvnYOGA stood head and shoulders above. The facility is comfortable and clean. The owners, Heather and Jay, are warm-hearted and practice yoga themselves. There are many instructors with many different approaches to choose from and lots of classes on the schedule to fit my busy schedule. Reg and Emma are instructors I’ve tried; they are both pleasant, helpful, encouraging, and non-judgmental. This place has a good vibe.

I found my yoga community at gruvn Yoga. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. There’s a class for everyone here—power, yin, gentle flow and more led by helpful and knowledgeable instructors.
Gruvn Yoga is a very clean and beautiful studio. They also offer virtual classes. I started out with the 30 days for $30 introductory offer and it’s a great way to try a variety of classes and learn more about the studio. I highly recommend it!

I thought that it was important to come back and edit my review over a year later to say that I am still LOVING this place! I've met some wonderful people on this journey and this place has been so important to me these last few months. I feel so much better, so much healthier and happier mentally. Please come along to a class, you won't be disappointed.
I’m so glad I found this place. I was starting to struggle with my injuries and needed to get moving again. Mentally it has helped me re-focus and feel good about life again. This wonderful space is perfect, I feel safe and secure. Heather and her instructors are doing an amazing job under very difficult circumstances. I urge you to try it, you won’t regret it.

I attended the Open House event on 8/21 to learn more and try out classes. The studio is amazing. They offer a wide variety of classes for people at all experience levels of yoga. I am a beginner and feel comfortable in all of the classes I’ve tried and I’ve been to at least 10 in the last 2 weeks. They also have a virtual option if you are unable or prefer not to attend in person. I attended virtually twice when I couldn’t make it to the studio and appreciate having that flexibility. The studio is very open and a comfortable place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you are local or interested in virtual options you should definitely try them out, you will not be disappointed.

I love the classes at Gruvn although I have only done chair yoga with Heather. I started going after I had a shoulder injury and couldn’t do my typical vinyasa/power yoga classes and Gruvn is the ONLY studio that I know of in the Atlanta area that has chair yoga. I am looking forward to trying other classes when I am able to. Heather makes yoga fun and she is amazing at letting you know modifications you can do to make the practice accessible to you depending on your limitations. I highly recommend her classes and her studio. I have also taken classes with another teacher there, Rachel before my injury and Rachel’s classes are amazing. Yes her classes are power yoga classes but she encourages you to do what you can. She also has an uplifting message that she shares in class which relates to the theme for class. I always feel better after I leave her class than before I came in.

I've been joining the Gruvn' classes virtually from Florida, and absolutely love them ! Each class has a different flavor from the sweat inducing Power classes, to the gentle Flow classes that help with strength, balance & focus, to the Yin & Restore classes for stress relief and relaxation. Heather, the owner, has created an uplifting and encouraging space, with instructors who are supportive and provide clear directions. No matter your skill level, there's a class to fit !

I referred to by a friend to check out Gruvn Yoga. I took one classes and their sound healing workshop and I was hooked. Not only I enjoyed the class but the staff, the teachers are a joy especially the owner Heather Peace who is just full of uplifting energy and joy. Something about Gruvn encourages me to come back and gives off positive energy just by walking in or taking virtual with them. Each teacher has something new to deliver with a variety of classes to pick from for anybody. I love their restorative and yin classes the most especially Barbie’s class because I really need a stretch release and relaxation in my lower body.

gruvnYOGA is a special yoga studio owned by one of the most loving, caring and amazing woman you will ever meet, Heather! Opened right as the Pandemic hit, Heather adapted and pivoted to bring yoga to the people! Gruvn provides a welcoming atmosphere to all, with wonderful & experienced yoga teachers. gruvnYOGA also offers a weekly Y12SR class, one of very few that do in the metro Atlanta area. Whether you want to practice in Studio or join online yoga classes, Gruvn provides a variety of classes for all levels in a safe, comfortable setting. Come check out the gruvnYOGA community!

Gruvn Yoga is exactly the kind of studio East Cobb needed. I have reaped so many physical and mental health benefits since I started regularly attending yoga classes at Gruvn, and it truly has become my local “happy place.“ I love the friendly, inclusive, welcoming atmosphere, the fun vibe and the music, but most of all, the yoga is fabulous. The teachers are so very knowledgeable and kind. The studio is extremely clean and very comfortable. I also am impressed with all of the active safety and cleanliness/disinfecting measures they’ve taken since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, ensuring safe social distancing during in-person classes and offering virtual options for those who want to take classes from their home. I would recommend Gruvn to anyone and everyone, from beginner to seasoned yogi alike.

I love this place!! It's refreshing to finally have a yoga studio in East Cobb that embraces the more pure aspects of yoga. I've done a few different classes and here are my observations...
The Hatha class with Andrew was challenging without being overwhelming. His focus on proper alignment and form helped me correct many mistakes I didn't even know I was making.
The Yin class with Deb was unlike anything I'd ever experienced (and this wasn't my first Yin class). The way she leads the class, along with the lighting and sound, made me feel like I had been transported to some mystic place where I could forget the outside world and just focus on my mind & body. Amazing..
Vinyasa with Heather (the owner) changed the way I view flow classes. She uses music to enhance the experience without being a distraction, allowing the different songs to set the pace with both movement and emotion. Her teaching style feels like art and it's easy to see that she genuinely wants to help people.
Overall, the studio is beautiful and welcoming. I'll definitely continue to take yoga classes there as I continue my efforts to be fit and happy.
