Tonight I went to this gym that I pay monthly membership, I haven’t been there for more than a month due to traveling, when i got over there I tried to get in using my pass the door didn’t open, from behind the door I saw someone setting on the front desk I asked him to come out to help, then he looked at my phone and said there is an annual maintenance fee is due , they charged for the monthly fee directly from my account, I told him I am going to talk to my son because he is the one handling my account, he refused to let me in , even my monthly payment was paid , he was so nasty and impolite in the way he talked , I asked for his name or position he refused to give it to me
I don’t believe this is right behavior,
This is a wrong business practice , instead to say you can get in this time but please be sure to fix this issue , he refused completely to let me in

I think it’s a good weightlifting gym but anything after that, it’s below mid. There are a lot of people filming content so if you’re worried about that, this is not the place for you. For $50-$60/month, you think there would be more amenities like showers or nice bathrooms. Definitely not worth the hype. Gym is new but there are a lot of old used equipments. People don’t really re-rack weights or tidy up after. Parking is very limited. Music is louder than my headphones and you get a free T-shirt if you write a review (basically bribing customers) but hey! Got a free tank top!

This is an excellent gym and a great value. For bodybuilders and general fitness it has all you need. Since opening they’ve improved a lot in amenities and music volume. My only concern is that there are only two TSS racks and for powerlifters they are massively superior to the many rogue racks. Having to wait for a TSS rack for bench especially is annoying. Get a couple more TSS or Eleiko racks and it would be perfect.

My one major con is they don’t have very good lightening outside of the building, so when it’s dark it definitely feels sketch at times. I switched from onelife. I like this one more but it’s a little more pricey. The initation fee is average , and they charge another $50+ after 90 days for a “maintenance fee” which is common among gyms in the area. The locker room is iffy. 1 stall, 1 urinal and 12 lockers. Door lock system getting in is good but half the time the push to get out is weird. Parking situation is iffy sometimes and the front parking lot floods bad when it rains. I got out of my car and my whole shoe went under so I had to workout with a soaking wet shoe and socks. Other than those things, it’s a good gym. It’s got a good atmosphere and good community.

Love this gym! Finally a real gym for more serious weightlifting enthusiasts. I’ve been training for over 40 years and must say this is the best equipped facility I have trained in. The War Strength line of equipment is phenomenal with unique angles not found in other lines. The gym is never crowded and there is always plenty of available equipment available at all times. The members are more serious and focused than your average fitness center member. My workouts have been great since I started there with no waits and no packs of kids monopolizing the equipment. Open 24/7 is amazing. I love it. Parking is minimal and it’s a longer drive for me but well worth it. I look forward to my workouts there.

The 5-star ratings are only because they hand out free t-shirts for reviews. The men's bathrooms is a joke (1 toilet, 1 stall, no paper towels), there are only 10 tiny lockers, and most of the equipment is cheap WarStrength gear with awkward handling and small grips that hurts your hand if load the machine. The cable machines are too light, the calf raise is useless, and when it rains the front parking lot floods. On top of that, they charge everyone an extra $50 per year for ‘maintenance.’ Definitely not a true 5-star gym. I hope management gets their act together.

I just signed up and went for the first time. My prior gym closed down, so I was looking for something new.

I signed up online, drove over, and was let in through a Bluetooth reader at the door. Super easy..

The place is like a football field of equipment. Crazy huge, and packed with anything you could dream of.

It is a very lifting heavy gym though, so I would caution those who do mostly cardio and pulley/weight stack machines. There are tens (many 10s, or tons, whichever, a lot) of plate load machines (similar to hammer strength, but a brand with War in the name).

I've been working out hard for over a decade and there are many things I've never seen.

Not worth a star deduct, but the music is very loud and fairly poor rap/HH. There is a lot of great rap, but this is modern top 10 mumblers... Headphones :)

Great gym! If your focus is lifting weights this gym is for you. They have almost every plate loaded machine imaginable. Plenty of cable machines, benches, free weights and power lifting stations as well. The only major draw back is there is no sauna and the locker room is mediocre.
I also wish they had a dumbbell spotter machine pressing heavy dumbbells. When I toured the gym they had one and they promised they would have one when it opened but they have removed it and from what I was told they don’t have any plans to bring one back in. Big disappointment there because it’s one of the reasons I joined.

Came here from Texas and was really missing those warehouse-style gyms that Texas is known for. Some folks have recognized the need in Georgia and now that is changing. I walked into Icon and immediately felt at home. The space is large, open-concept, “hardcore” and 24/7 with tons of equipment including several squats racks, platforms, benches and Olympic/powerlifting equipment, even the competition plates. They have tons of machines as well including several esoteric ones. They supply their own chalk…nothing was missed! Didn’t have to wait for anything. Plenty of parking and building entry is via a phone app. The place is a resort for serious lifters no matter their goals or level of experience.

Very disappointed with my experience of ICON gym. I would like to restate the concerns others have had of the poor parking situation, poorly constructed/poorly assembled machines and equipment, and an overall low quality experience dressed up as “luxury”. This is was advertised as a more serious gym where bodybuilders and powerlifters would go to hone their craft but the equipment provided makes that impossible as it is cheaply made, unable to handle moderate to high loads, constructed off centered/unbalanced/crooked, and most people who have lifted for a few years will be able to lift the maximum amount of weight on these machines with very little effort. The bathroom situation is also concerning as there is one stall and one urinal in the men’s locker room to cover the needs of 25-75 men at a time. I signed up for the year membership as the gym as it was advertised was a great deal at those rates, but after two days of attending I decided it’s time to cancel and I was met with a $300 charge to cancel which I obviously did not pay. Thankfully the Attorney General of Georgia provides customer protections here where you’re allowed to cancel within your first week and receive a refund, however any and all attempts to cancel membership through email and certified mail have failed or been ignored so I will have to take action through my bank. Please take the time to consider the risks of getting a membership here as they have shown a pattern of false advertising and unreliability!

Good gym- lots of equipment. Great environment. Only negative feedback is that baby powder is not allowed for powerlifting and there are only two tss racks. Multiple machines have been broken already. Music is hit or miss and tvs are rarely on. Cleaning stations are frequently empty and far away.

I've been having super awesome workouts since coming here. The gym is always clean and there is enough equipment to make waiting virtually nonexistent. Ive come at a few different times and never had to stand around for 10+ minutes waiting for one machine.

The lighting in the entire gym is superb and the two posing rooms adds to it! I like to practice posing and having a room dedicated to just that is awesome.

Super impressed with this gym — love that it’s open 24/7. The equipment is next level, a lot of pieces I’ve never even seen before. Only thing I’d upgrade are the leg ext/ leg curl machines, but honestly everything else is on point. The vibes here are amazing and the posing room is a game changer.
