This review is for summer camp only. We signed our 5-year-old up for a week of summer camp here because she had been interested in starting gymnastics lessons. She really wanted to learn how to do a somersault and maybe a cartwheel. She learned neither and told me that no one taught her anything. She said the kids basically ran around in the morning and then watched a movie in the afternoon. The hours are horrible for working parents (I think it was 9:30-3 with the after care option) but we signed up because they are around the corner from my house and we really wanted to like it and continue year-round. They also over-billed me by $59 and then charged me $10 to get a refund, which took 2 phone calls, 2 emails, and a series of text messages. Maybe the camp would be better for kids already doing gymnastics here but overall I was extremely unimpressed and we will definitely not be returning.

We LOVE jump start! My son just had the best experience at their “schools out camp” with Coach Chuck and can’t wait to go back. They are highly aware of different school’s schedules and try to accommodate all of their families. Coach Courtney is incredible and works so hard to run this special place!

Coach with the glasses is super rude not only to parents but students as well. Will yell in the girls faces and tell them to “shush” when they try to encourage their friends. Doesn’t have anything positive to say to them. They look miserable and defeated whenever she says anything.

My daughter has been a gymnast with JumpStart for the past 4.5 years. Its a wonderful place to learn gymnastics in a positive atmosphere. The coaches truly care about the emotional and physical well-being of their gymnasts while maintaining the high standards and expectations of a strong competitive program. My daughter looks forward to practices, truly enjoys her time learning at JumpStart, has made many friends and even more fun memories.

Coach Courtney really has a handle on gymnastic techniques for young children: coordination, balance and skills. I'd recommend to all parents with young ones. Start them early.

We’ve been coming here for a few years now. We’ve tried 4 different gyms in Atlanta area but JSG is the one we picked.

Whether you want to keep your kids active or train them professionally, JSG is the place to go.

The owner is friendly, supportive, and accommodating. Coaches are friendly and professional.

You can’t go wrong with an Olympics gold medalist coach, if you want to get your kids trained professionally.

Im a little concerned about the hygiene of this place. The equipment is old and the gym is very dirty. Matts are nasty and it smells. Some coaches are not very enthusiastic and honestly you can tell they don’t want to be there. Others are great. My son has learned a lot for sure but staff is just not very Pleasant. Unfortunately, we don’t have too many options around here but they need to step it up when it comes to the overall cleanliness of the place and staff attitude.

They offered a Satellite program at our Elementary school and I was VERY disappointed in how they conducted business, spoke about their employees, addressed parents concerns, safety procedures and had lead teachers who used a tone so rude to students I asked them to leave on the spot when I sat in. I have contracted with over 40 extracurricular vendors for schools over past 7 yrs and I only write this review to give others in my boat a heads up. Even though all tuition was already paid out to Jump Start at the end of the semester I ended up crediting EVERY one in the class $100 because I was so embarrassed. Maybe they offer good program at the actual gym but if you are looking for satellite vendor..... RUN.
