I've been at LEGA since they opened and have loved it ever since. I trained up until level 10 with Bridget and have had the best experience!

Trained at LEGA from when they started and was a level 10 here. I love LEGA, and I will forever be thankful for the ways Bridget poured into me and made me into the gymnast I was. There is no better place than LEGA!

I’ve waited a long time to write this review because of how emotional this experience was for me and my daughter. But I believe it’s important for other parents to know who they’re trusting with their children.
My daughter attended this gym for over four years—three of those on the competition team. She was dedicated, passionate, and even began interning and helping coach the younger girls, who she lovingly referred to as her “littles.” The gym’s motto is “Ohana means family,” and for a long time, that’s exactly how we felt. We didn't go to alot of practices so we didn't see what was happening.
Unfortunately, things began to change and we saw for ourselves how she was being treated. At the end of her last season, all the girls(with parents)were pulled into a individual meeting in the middle of practice. There, with owners Alicia and Bridget present, each girl was asked about their plans for the next season.
The previous year, my daughter had been moved up to Gold level without discussion, and we had voiced concerns that she wasn’t ready. Despite her hard work, she didn’t place at any meets (other than participation medals), and it deeply affected her confidence. Still, she was always a supportive teammate, genuinely happy for her friends, and never showed her tears until we were in the car or at home.
During the meeting, my daughter said she wanted to stay on Gold. She was told there would be no Gold team the following year, and that she didn't have the skills to move up to Platinum—so they had no place for her on the team. This had never been done before no child had ever been dropped. She was crushed and looked at me in tears. We walked out, and I promised her I’d find another gym.
What hurt even more was discovering later that the gym did bring back Gold the next season—and even reinstated Silver. I also learned, after reaching out and being contacted by other parents, that several families had left for similar reasons. Many had also tried to raise concerns about how their daughters were being treated by Coach Bailey but felt ignored.
To make matters worse, months later my daughter took a private tumbling lesson with a coach who uses the gym, afterwards one of the owners, Stephanie, had voiced outloud why was my daughter even still training—saying she had “no skill” and would “never amount to anything.” That an adult, especially one with daughters of her own, would speak about a child like that is appalling.
We never expected our daughter to become an Olympic gymnast—but we did believe in the life skills and confidence she could gain through the sport. And she did: she kept her head up through disappointment, endured being ignored by a coach who clearly favored others, and remained a kind, uplifting teammate. That’s something no medal can measure.
Her dream at 13 was to become a coach at this gym. Leaving her “littles” was the hardest part for her. I wish I had realized sooner what was going on, but I’m grateful she was welcomed into a new gym where she had a wonderful season. Unfortunately, the damage was already done. Her love for gymnastics faded—not because of the sport, but because of the people I had paid to help her.
I also afterwards requested a partial refund, as she was dropped mid-month and I had paid for a full month of tuition and a uniform she never got to fully use (it was supposed to be for two years). I was told no, that she could still come to practice for the rest of the month with the teammates who were no longer her teammates.
I share this not out of bitterness, but out of a desire for transparency. I have emails, videos, and texts to back up everything I’ve said. If you're a parent considering this gym, please know our story—so you can ask the right questions and make the best choice for your child.
I should add that there are several Coaches at this gym that were positive, uplifting and helped my daughter in so many ways. So a huge Thank you to Coach Gabe, Coach Angel, Coach Kennedy, Coach Tori(no longer there), and Coach Ashlyn(no longer there) you are what it's supposed to be like!

The coaches at this gym never except accountability for anything that they do. My daughter was here for 2 years, treated like dirt and the moment I called their feet to the fire to ask them to admit that they have things against others. Even us having three more witnesses, saying the same thing wasn’t enough for them to admit when they’re wrong. They will defend each other even if they’re wrong please don’t send your daughter through this mess or your son.

My daughters came in here very happy, but one of them came out crying, and the other came out very sad. The youngest one didn't express herself very much, but I understood everything, and the older one explained everything to me. I'm so sad for my daughters; I regret bringing them to this place. 🥹💔💔💔

We joined because they had a beginner boys class. No pre-requisite beginner class. My child was very new and the youngest in class but still fit the class description. The co-coach was gone one class and the head coach said my son was not following directions on purpose and kicked him out of class, demanding he leave and not come back that day. He wasn’t able to keep his legs straight and touch his toes at the same time, had a hard time with other stretches as well. There was no offer to modify anything. Somehow this is a USAGYMNASTICS gym yet they don’t clearly follow, certain rules. I did reach out to the gym owner for a meeting but everyone was continually too busy for an in person meeting. This was over a year ago but my now 5yo STILL brings up the coach that was mean. On our way out that day the parents that saw it apologized to us and said the coach was out of line.

Great experience so far! The best gymnastics facility in the area. A lot of different programs to choose from with flexible times to work with your personal schedule. There's something for everyone interested. You're not locked into a contract or fees if you decide to stop for whatever reason.

My daughter enjoys the place. She is a beginner. She come once a week. They are flexible when it comes to switching days. It took me a little getting use to as a parent on week. Communication is little unless you had to ask questions. I had to get use to the smell. Some of the teachers are hands on and correct the kids or help with gymnastics practice.

We moved to this gym in May after a not so great experience at another gym. My child is a level 4 competitive gymnast and I don’t have enough words to say how amazing this gym is! The staff, environment, other parents and gymnast are wonderful. It is truly a family here. The environment for learning is that of expectations and teaching with lots of love and care. We were welcomed here with open arms and it feels like we’ve been here forever. The progress my gymnast has made in such a short time is unbelievable thanks to the support of the staff and teammates and the hard work she puts in. We would highly recommend this gym and so happy to be a part of this amazing gym family.

Excellent place for kids bday. Staff was nice, helpful, and ensured all the kiddos sanitized their hands before eating. Facility had several different age specific areas, each with basically the same equipment (trampoline, beam, etc...) just difference in size. Gym appeared well kept and clean throughout.

My daughter started last year in their butterflies program and moved to their class 1. She's had a great time and still enjoys going every week! The coaches are fun, engaging, and flexible. They're so many different types of personalities and skills in each class but the coaches do a great job at handling each child. We enjoy it here and I hope families who are considering will take leap and try it out. They allow your child to try a class for free!

My 16 month old started in a beginners class last week, I was nervous because I didn’t know how she would interact or if this would even be something she would like, But the environment was more than comfortable and the teachers were excellent with her. They made learning fun. We are excited about what they can teach her and looking forward to the next class.

Fantastic gym with amazing coaches. The coaches look out for the best interest of the gymnast! The recreation classes are designed to help the gymnasts advance their skills from where they are. Team helps the girls to do their best and excel with new challenges and harder skills. This is truly a great place for recreation or competitive gymnastics!
