The gym itself is nice and has good equipment, but it’s almost always packed. For how expensive it is. There are tripods and people filming everywhere — phones set up in the middle of walkways, recording every set - mind you that’s like 3 guys workingout together taking 5 machines at a time. It makes it hard to just focus and work out without feeling like you’re in someone’s video, also its definitely a tripping hazard and makes it hard to move around.

Not sure why the reviews are so low on this lifetime facility - I’ve been to dozens of lifetimes and this might be my fav one (if you’re ok with a parking garage and elevator).

It’s spaced out so there’s tons of space - great gym floor - spaciousness and all great equipment (I do find men hit on women at this location more than normal, but that doesn’t effect me too much as a married man lol).

Menu is great - staff is on it - and i never see equipment or saunas down.

Good feel, community vibes, upscale aura, awesome staff. Fav lifetime in Georgia.

The steam room is consistently so hot to the point that your fingers and toes feel like they are about to explode. No matter the number of complaints reported, this matter is never addressed

While the sauna doesn't get hot at all, a baby can sleep in the sauna for hours on sheer comfort due to the mild temperatures. Also, the whirlpool is often closed

Lastly, they are often out of towels and washcloths

I’m at a point whereas I am rethinking the membership because it’s certainly not worth the cost

The rooftop pool at Lifetime Buckhead is such a peaceful escape, especially on weekdays—quiet, clean, and perfect for relaxing or getting in a focused swim. The women’s locker room is also a standout: always clean, spacious, and feels truly luxurious. Great amenities and a calm atmosphere make this location one of my favorites!

I literally go to Life Time just to train with Michelle Cobb. She’s an exceptional trainer—knowledgeable, motivating, and incredibly attentive. Michelle takes the time to explain each movement with clarity and purpose, making sure you understand proper form and feel confident throughout the workout. Every session with her is both challenging and empowering. Plus she’s really fun.

Don't buy pool pass it's free. Cancelling is a big process. They keep charging until you go through some hoops. But even with zero visits for the month they still want to keep the money and no refunds. If they get the money they keep it no exceptions is what they said. Never went cause it's super basic, drinks and food and amenities are not worth it imo.
Again the pool is free y'all lmao.. do not buy a pool pass. They don't check, they kinda can't anyway with how it's set up.

I have been going to the Alpharetta Lifetime Fitness basically my entire life but the buckhead location blows every gym I have ever been to out of the water. Front desk and employees are very helpful and nice and equipment/amenities are over the top. If you’re looking to get your money worth for a gym this is the place to go.

I typically go in the evenings to the Buckhead location and it's always so clean. Evelyn is awesome! and always ready to assist. Always replenishing towels, cleaning the restrooms, the sinks, the mirrors, the SHOWERS! I can’t give a 5-star review to any business that does not exceed my expectations. This particular LifeTime does that by all accounts: Everything is ALWAYS squeaky clean and well maintained, the facility itself is beautiful, the staff is incredibly polite and helpful—and this afternoon one of the ladies at the front desk greeted myself and my partner by name before we had even signed in, which I thought was such a nice touch. I think details are key to elevating any experience, and this LifeTime seems to be meticulous in those little things that make it a superior fitness club in every way. Every inch of every space and piece of equipment is always spotless, they swiftly address any small concerns we voice, anything in need of repair (which is rare) is promptly fixed, towels and wet wipes and other provisions are always well stocked, the staff are professional and well trained and attentive, I never feel like it’s overcrowded even during peak hours—which is really important to me—and there just seems to be thoughtful attention paid to other details I’m probably forgetting right now. The pickleball program could use some improvements, but I’m honestly struggling to think of any other cons. As members since this location opened, my partner and I have been consistently impressed with our experience at LifeTime Druid Hills, and genuinely look forward to coming together every day. I honestly like it way better than my dad’s country club, which is several thousands more a year. Any time I bring a guest, they always want to become members, too. We love it!

Lifetime has completely raised the bar for what I expect from a gym. The energy here is always positive—from the friendly staff to the members who truly seem to value health and wellness. The entire facility is spotless, which makes such a difference when you’re spending time in the locker rooms or using the equipment.

What really sets Lifetime apart are the group classes and events. There’s always something going on—whether it’s a high-energy cycle session, or a weekend fitness challenge, they keep it fresh and engaging. It’s not just a gym; it’s a whole lifestyle community that makes working out something to look forward to.

Highly recommend if you want more than just machines and weights—this place feeds your body and your vibe.

And let’s be real anyone leaving a negative review is probably just miserable and looking for something to complain about. Lifetime is that good.

(Edited) Salon is missing Q. Haircuts stay late which will make a customer wait.
Making them wait the same time is deemed unacceptable and gives a 50% late charge.

I can tell they put a lot of work in this facility.

It no longer gives high end luxury club.
The times I’ve been there and seen people drunk is kinda weird to me.

Upgraded to have access to North Druid Hills location and its so classy, luxury, and quiet.

Buckhead location gives me hookah lounge/club vibes

I’ve been to many Lifetime locations, this one is a downgrade

Hopefully when Club Studio opens up in Brookhaven, gives better “gym” vibes

I have to admit, I was initially hesitant to expand my membership to this location due to past reviews. However, I can confidently say that the management and team have done an incredible job transforming the space into one that’s both energizing and supportive of a holistic wellness journey. The class offerings are diverse and the staff is exceptional.

I recently took my first spin class with Instructor Markus, who was nothing short of phenomenal. His energy and motivation truly set the tone. Following that, I had a recovery session with Coach A, who took the time to thoroughly educate me on the recovery process and its benefits, especially for lower body care, using the gym’s specialized equipment.

For 300$ this place isn’t worth it. “Rejuvenation” sauna area is always full of loud and entitled women who don’t care for you. They gather in clicks to yell, gossip, curse and just be extra loud. So you won’t relax.

The water stations ran out of filter the first 3 months of the building opening, so all you taste when filling up your water bottle is doodoo. And yes, on all 3 levels - straight doodoo water.

The staff at the font desk are not friendly, they don’t look you in the eye, don’t say hello or goodbye. And if you ask them for any help, they act like you’re asking them to loan them 10k

The only people that are nice are the ladies who clean up the women’s locked rooms.

Do yourself a favor and read the other reviewed and DONT JOIN

I have a love-hate relationship with this place. It’s walking distance from my office so it’s super convenient/the only reason why I go nowadays.

Over the past few months I’ve had minor inconveniences and issues which I’ve overlooked including trainers showing up late to appointments, instructors canceling appointments last minute/same day, class instructors arguing with LTPT trainers during sessions, and even drunk texts from a trainer (nothing inappropriate but just weird and awkward).

I’m writing a review today because someone went into my locked locker and stole credit cards out of my wallet yesterday. Lifetime has a horrible and lax locker lock-out policy and basically anyone can go to the front desk and ask for any locker to be opened claiming it is theirs. I reported it to the front desk in which I was greeted with an attitude of inconvenience.

I know there’s not much staff can do about stolen property but I at least wanted them to acknowledge their flawed locker lock-out policy and take ownership of committing to do better with security and safety.

With lifetime fitness, you’re paying for a “nice” facility and that’s it. Cleanliness is subpar (though this is more on the members, I see staff cleaning all the time but a lot of the members who go here have zero respect for the space and just throw their trash and towels on the floor), staff is unprofessional (not all staff but personal training, front desk and dynamic stretch teams could be greatly improved), security is a joke, and management doesn’t seem to care about or take any feedback/concerns seriously.

Holy after one year, this gym has deteriorated tremendously. The men’s locker room is disgusting. The lockers are all chipped. Some doors are broken. The men’s locker room bathroom smells like urine. The top of the urinals are dirty and have not been wiped down for what seems like months. For the price this gym It’s not worth it. Please get better management or a general manager that can make changes. It shouldn’t be hard to maintain this place with the right person in charge. Especially when the membership is on a waitlist, money isn’t the issue.

Founding member of this location but 20+ year member of LifeTime in the ATL area. This location upon first glance is really nice, however sadly the STAFF and the MEMBERS really dim the experience.

The staff are rude, unprofessional and have allowed this new facility to become the DIRTIEST of all LifeTime locations I have been to before (10+). They also allow class instructors to take over the general fitness floor and blast their rap music so loud you can't even hear the music in your headphones.

The members are also a problem. 'Influencers' and their tripods are EVERYWHERE on the gym floor, many gazing into their phone to look at themselves repeatedly. In the locker room, the men talk on their phone or FACETIME (what in the actual?). Relax in the sauna? Nope. Some dude is going to be scrolling IG with sound on. Many take calls in the sauna. Unbelievably crass. Rooftop pool? Be prepared for more very loud trashy music and thongs galore.

Given the VERY steep monthly dues, I'll be canceling.

Equinox, please save us here in ATL!

Added: men's locker rooms regularly missing towels and toilet paper. Gross.

The gym is seriously under-equipped for weightlifting. There are constantly classes in the barbell area and you aren’t allowed to use them when they’re going on, even when class participants aren’t using the barbells. Given that barbell lifting is my priority (it is a gym, after all), I will likely have to cancel my membership if they don’t improve the barbell situation.

Staff are very unfriendly and not willing to help. Good luck canceling your membership once you join. Facility is not kept clean. The studio floors are covered in a layer of hair and dirt, I won’t walk barefoot on any of the studio floors cause i kept getting athletes foot. Underwhelming experience to say the least. They are overcharging for the amenities they provide, especially considering the condition they are in. Just received the rudest treatment from the front desk staff while trying to sign up for a membership. I walked in and requested a tour. I was told that there were no tours available and then received a blank stare. Then I asked if I could sign up for a tour later. I was given the run around for awhile then *suddenly* she was able to find an available tour for the same day. I asked if we could just look the following day. So the next day I show up for the tour. I’m given the tour where she shows me around the entire facility and when we make it back to the front desk she simply shows me the door. Absolutely no information on membership or next steps to sign up. I ask her if she can provide the next steps and *suddenly* the systems down and she offered no further solutions besides “have a good day”. I got the point that I was not wanted as a member and left. Overall I felt completely unwelcome. Hopefully management reads these reviews and addresses their staff.

This is an expensive gym with small facilities for the number of people which pack into it during peak hours and it’s PACKED so hard to find weight equipment and basically have to wait for machines, which is a waste of time when your workout should be efficient.—basically before work, after work and weekends. The sauna is SMALL and usually barely any space to sit or stretch out. For such a popular benefit, you’d think the gym designers would have placed a larger sauna for gym members. It probably fits max 5 people inside at one time and that’s with very close contact too…
Their jacuzzi and steam room are small too but those aren’t as popular.
Not enough lockers during peak hours! In the men’s locker room, good luck finding a locker at 5:30–and bags aren’t allowed on the gym floor..

This gym has taken on TOO MANY CLIENTS and it’s over capacity during peak hours—-SUCH a disappointment for paying such an expensive membership….why would they do this?????

Firstly, this gym is decent considering the price. Somewhat overprice for sure, but that doesn't matter really.

What matters is some of the staff. Specifically, Eric Manthey. There was a promotion given out for $100. I fulfilled the promotion requirements. I followed up with him three different times to ask him when I'll get my money. Each time he pretends like i'm a new person and says email him. I emailed him each time. I finally caught him again, and he tried to delete the email just so he could be right. He then says, he is doing me a favor by giving me the $100 dollars. I don't see how he's doing me a favor when i fulfilled my obligation for the promotion..........I have receipts and documentation on all of this as well.

Overall, it's not about the $100. I could care less. I pay $300/month here, do you really think I'm stressing over $100. It's the PRINCIPLE behind it. The fact that I have to even explain that is hilarious. Eric Manthey seems like a terrible human being. Don't let power blind you man. God is watching.

First, I would like to say that I love this fitness club. I used to be a member of Onelife and LA Fitness. However, someone told me about it, and I joined before this club opened (Founding member).

Mrs. Q and her staff provide GREAT customer service in the spa area. I can’t forget Jay (Dynamic Stretch) because she’s excellent. Shout out to the cleaning staff for making sure the place stays clean as much as possible. However, I decided to go out and purchase my towels and washcloths because after placing them on the shelves, I discovered long strands of hair stuck to the towel. This has happened more than five times. This doesn’t have anything to do with staff!

My biggest complaint is the rules are constantly changing. There are signs around the gym telling people not to bring gym bags and backpacks on the floor. It’s only about the money for this lifetime instead of ensuring customers are happy. I spend more than $500 monthly at the club, and I can't bring my backpack on the floor. I'm sure other members like myself carry additional workout gear in their bags.

This gym could be the Michelin Star experience Buckhead thought it would be, but sadly it is not. One of the main issues is the staff sadly. You can tell there is no training or best practices in play. It is just like any other gym that will hire anyone and keep them if they show up. I have seen trainers be rude to members (never me), eat on the gym floor, train members or mini classes that block the majority of members, lack eye contact at the front desk, and honestly the list could goes on. The one area that works well is the Spa/Salon. Q, that I assume is the manager is amazing and communicates to the fullest. Joshua who has cut my hair a few times does exceptional work and if ever running behind addresses it. Patrick, is always smiling and makes you feel as if it is an honor to see you each day. If the Spa structure and model could bleed into the gym as a whole, Lifetime would be a gem, but at this time they are not close to meeting the standard.

Way overrated/over priced. I was a ”founding member“ with locked in rates, or at least that is how it was sold to me. Waited months due to delayed openings, just to find out that after I joined that wanted to increase the already high monthly dues twice! You can’t work out during prime hours because the fitness classes take up literally all of the racks, and they won’t let you use one even if the class isn’t full. People don’t re-rack their weights, everyone sits around on equipment while using their phones for endless amounts of time, and too many “influencers” setting up a tripod to record their workouts.

Every single screen on the equipment is disgusting! On a Monday! 3 of the 14 treadmills in the main area out of service.

At any given time you might be getting recorded without your consent by someone that’s recording themself. Too many tripods floating around!

This gym needs to double up on maintence and cleaning staff and ban the use of tripod recording.

**update** 2 hours after this review, I received an email that my membership had changed, removing a member on my account. I emailed stating I never requested a change. The response was that it was a "system error" and that they reversed the change. However charging a $10 change fee and increasing my monthly billing by $20 a month!

I called at 4:19pm asked for a manager and they stated they were gone for the day and to email them. I'm still waiting on management to get back to me on what is going on and to undo all their coincidental changes caused by "system errors".

I’ve been a member of lifetime for almost a decade now and have never been compelled to write a negative review until my encounter today at the Buckhead (Phipps Plaza) Life Time Fitness location. For a gym that claims be a top-tier “country club” level gym and charges premium pricing (currently $299+ monthly) it does not offer the same level of equipment upkeep, service to members or managerial experience & professionalism. In a little over a year since opening, the equipment is deteriorating, accessory bands, jump ropes, etc are always missing and slow to replace, has a roof that will be leaking without any sign around to notify you, showers and steam rooms that have been closed for months at a time due to poor construction (had to be properly water proofed and re-tiled and instead of issuing apologies & some form of credits they instead increased rates - even for founding members!) and more often than not, towels are nowhere to be found and bath areas a mess due to the hardworking operations team always being grossly understaffed and all this in an already small locker room space due to management overselling memberships far beyond what was promised to founding members as “exclusively capped” so we would not suffer the daily overcrowding that is the current state of affairs and worst of all, management allows staff to stay on that will be outrageously disrespectful towards you! Just yesterday, their trainer Kelly that was teaching an alpha class scheduled during peak hours, where 8-10 members of the alpha class will occupy 80% of the main lifting platforms, while the rest of the members are forced to share the remaining 20% (4 platforms! at peak gym hours) decided to go out of her way to rudely yell at me and aggressively demand my name when I tried to use an open platform in the corner that was NOT being utilized, AFTER class had already started. When I tried to speak to management, they were no where to be found and staff did not know where they were either (often commenting that they leave early on the daily). I found this to be unacceptable and proceeded to call the head manager Mishkat to inform him of this outrageous incident and how I’ve never experienced such a disrespect in my life let alone at an establishment I pay top dollar at and understandably expect a top level environment & behavior from all - I’ve been a member for far too long and have such a supportive community of members and employees that can vouch for my respectful behavior and etiquette. Yet, not only did he not provide anything close to an apology, he was very dismissive of my complaint and advised me “to not even bother calling corporate as they would just in turn call him back to handle it”, I was blown away to say the least. So I asked Mishkat if he could at the very least ensure that the trainer who harassed me would never approach me or speak to me again, but instead was quickly told “he can’t promise that either”! I was extremely dissatisfied with the local management and their seemingly lack of care for such outrageous behavior within the very club they are supposedly “managing” but in reality rarely ever physically present when the bulk of their members are on-site.

Have now spoke to corporate and awaiting their response. Will update this review with the follow-up I receive.

I like this place a lot. Plenty of equipment and workout options. Clean facilities, including hot tub, sauna, steam room. Even at its most crowded it does not feel overcrowded. I haven't observed any of the negative things commented upon by some recent reviewers. My understanding is that some of the staff members that may have had negative attitudes no longer work here.

Find another gym - it isn't worth the money and the staff here couldn't be worse. This facility is grossly overpriced with some of the worst service that I've received. Additionally, it is absurd that you do not have access to the rooftop pool as part of what is already an incredibly expensive gym membership.

Lastly, Life Time needs to find a new manager because Mishkat Lightwala is one of the most unprofessional and rude customer service "professionals" that I've come across.

I was really excited for this gym to open but it’s been an huge disappointment. There are not enough treadmills and you have to wait for machines often. It can also be difficult to find a locker during busy times. All around overpriced for what it is. They try to sell you on all these amenities that aren’t actually included unless you pay more. The pool in the summer and Pilates are not included. LifeSpa & Cafe are also overpriced - you might as well go elsewhere. It is such a hassle to get in and out of the location. They’re not enough parking spaces and the garage being so many floors doesn’t make me feel safe as a women coming late evening alone. There influencers galore here filming - on the floor but more worryingly in the women’s locker room.

It’s very disappointing and displeasing that you pay a ton of money(378) for something that supposed to take pride in their service !!!!!! I do not come to the spa area to hear individuals chump on ice, play loud music or talk on their phone !!!!

Proper etiquette when it comes to the sauna is to have peace and calmness !!!!! That is just like me going to a yoga class and talking on My phone when I went to the front seat they just pass it off like it’s okay to do these things…. I understand everyone has rights to do what they want but at the same time their rules everywhere you attend and we should respect people space and the things we pay money for… it use to be a sign on the front door on what to expect in the sauna area. I will be looking for another gym !!! You’re just paying for the location there is no Quality there!!!! I agree sandy springs is a better location

Been a lifetime member for 20 years now... This facility by far is the worst. It's not worth the premium cost. It's dirty and the staff seems to think that they are the commodity. It's not worth the membership. SANDY SPRINGS, ALPHARETTA & John's Creek are better locations and cheaper. Out door roof top pool. Looks like a kiddy pool. No basket ball court. This location is more of a spa then a gym.

Dear Lifetime Gym Management,

Since staff and management are not interested i'll share my extreme disappointment with my experiences at Lifetime Buckhead here. As a long-time member, I expected a higher level of service and commitment to member satisfaction, but my recent encounters have left me disheartened.

First and foremost, I have witnessed a rapid decline in the gym's overall cleanliness and maintenance. Equipment frequently shows signs of wear and tear, with some machines out of service for extended periods. This not only hinders my workout routine but also raises concerns about safety. This is not the standard I would expect from a gym with a premium monthly Membership fee.

One of the other big issues at this location is the fact that group class Alpha and GTX have the music playing at such high volumes that it becomes impossible to hear my own music or even engage in a conversation with your workout partner or even a trainer. very uncomfortable

The frontdesk staff is focused on their personal conversations, on their phones or meals, coffee that it feels bothersome to them for members to want to be checked in which results in getting checked in with no greeting or even a smile!!

The lack of management being on site or even caring shows throughout the club - Very disappointing!!

This place was nice.....on day 1. Operations here suuuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkksss. It's supposed to be a luxury gym and LifeTime is trying to have all of their Life TV show some exclusiveness to the experience, but it's not here at Buckhead. Buckhead Atlanta location is one of the worst locations for Lifetime I've been too. They don't replenish their dispensers in the men's room, they turn off the steam room b/c they don't to have to maintain it, there are floating pieces of toilet paper in their "exclusive" roof top pool and it's not from the wind blowing stuff into the pool as mentioned by the staff, they don't take pride in offering a luxurious experience to their members and i'm DYING for Equinox to come in and offer a true luxurious gym b/c 90% of people that want a refuge and get away to relax, and work and shower in place that is not looking like a $5/ mo gym vs. the hundreds of dollars one pay for the location. Equinox, here me out, if you come to Buckhead, tailor not to those that have money, but that those who know how to behave with money. Respect, cleanliness, and people will open up wallets. I travel to dozens of their nationwide locations and can name my favorites w/o a problem (Nashville diamond location is one of the better ones IMHO) but this place is a total rip off and waiting for a legit, luxurious gym to open up in Atlanta where Ops quality of service matches the monthly fees being charged.

Most gyms conduct loud, music-infused classes inside a room. Here, they conduct classes out in the open with the music blaring. The people who work out in the cardio section adjacent to this area have to contend with glaring music and incessant shouting.

When they opened, they promoted the place by offering a unique machine not found in other gyms - a novelty and selling point for membership -- the lateral elliptical. Days in, the machines were removed for… wait for it… even more treadmills. They never brought those machines back. They lied and said they would.

The gym is extremely loud. It’s unnerving. You can’t focus or concentrate and have to turn up the volume of your headphones/earbuds to dangerous levels.

Cheap treadmills. Planet Fitness’ are better – and Planet Fitness is $10 month – not $270. These treadmills don’t even let you track your heart rate and have no built-in fan.

If you’re looking for a gym gym, this is not the place! They don’t like weights being dropped, loading machines heavy, not allowed to have backpacks, etc. it’s definitely not worth the monthly membership, I’ve been to several gyms that have a price 1/10 the cost and are much better. It’s more of a seen be seen gym, you want a gym where you go for pictures. Sure go for it but I’m telling you even the trainers there don’t workout there 90% of the time. NOT TOO MENTION THE GUEST PASS! You are only allowed 2 guest passes a month and you’re not allowed to bring the same guest more than once within a 3 month period!

EDIT:
After being a member for several months, it has become increasingly frustrating when I come for a workout to find that an ALPHA class has taken over a large portion of the weight area. They blast awful remixes of hip hop songs like it's a college frat party, and the trainers (pridefully) kick you off of any racks or benches or anything in their "area" whether it's being used or not. You might be wondering, don't they have an entire floor of studios for group exercise classes? Why are they taking over the general workout space, blocking normal members from using it? I'm wondering the same thing.

Original review:
This place is pretty legit. Obviously everything is new, but they really have some top notch equipment, and a large variety of it too. Whether you want dumbbells with half-pound increments or 4 different type of elliptical machines, this place has it all. Not that I'm any kind of fitness club aficionado, but I like it. Lots of benches and barbells and stuff. I've never had to wait for a machine, even during peak times, even the week after New Year's. I expect it will get even better once the lazy losers realize their resolution to get in shape isn't happening and they quit lol. Locker rooms are big with DIY combo lockers. Never used the showers but they look nice too. The cafe is real convenient, though I wish they had a bigger selection of protein and sports drinks. I guess they want you to buy their freshly made smoothies. That's just fine but I'm a busy guy and don't always have time to wait for all that! I did overhear some guy in line telling the woman behind him that the chicken salad they make at the cafe is the only reason he joined this gym, so I guess there's that.

-I workout here at different times 6 days a week
-Equipment NOT AVAILABLE certain hours (massage guns, normatec boots, etc).
-Join now and you’ll pay for the pool extra while everyone else is included
-Trainers: GTX coach takes the rowers even though they have some and none left for normal people training. Doesn’t put them back.
-Alpha class turns the music so loud it conflicts with the other music coming out of the overhead speakers. It’s like edm vs rock at times and super annoying.
- Ab (blue) mats all broke and are still BROKEN.
- Squat racks are always taken since class uses theirs during peak hours
-The squat pads are always missing and they only have one smith and one sled press and are always taken.
-All the Stairmasters face glass while treadmills face outward and TVs.
-Jump ropers are everywhere even in the aisles and you can’t walk around.

Overall good club but unfortunately many areas to work on
- everyone is always trying to sell you add ons like the ridiculous price for the membership wasn’t enough.
- It’s not an all inclusive membership as it’s portrayed
- products in the bathrooms are pretty bad
- machines frequently break and they take very long to fix them
- Pilates should be included in the membership
- the mats and jumping ropes are nasty looking, all teared up
- stay away from all “complementary” services. They’ll try to sell you pills, $300+ facials, solo Pilates sessions, etc and be VERY pushy about it.

Overall a nice looking facility that for many is convenient in terms of location but is lacking many things for the price tag

This location is beautiful with wonderful amenities. Unfortunately, we are rating it one star because like other members have complained of, this location is NOT family friendly. Kids can only use the pools from 10am-1pm on Monday-Friday and not at all on Saturday AND Sunday. Most children are at school or Summer Camp during those hours. Instead, on the weekends they rent out the cabanas near the pool where non-members who are guests of members are able to enjoy the pool amenities as if we are in Miami at a day party. Smh. For the amount of money we pay in monthly membership for a family this is ridiculous. Instead of catering to the members it seems as though they are just trying to make extra money. We’re hoping their policy in this regard will quickly change. Also, the nursery staff are not CPR certified and hardly have any training in childcare which is concerning. Last, reformer Pilates (and some other classes) are not included in the monthly membership fee (which is North of $450 for our family). The extra cost to purchase a pass is almost double what one would pay to take Pilates in the Buckhead area. This should definitely be something that is included in the membership.

I recently joined LifeTime Fitness at Buckhead and overall the club is quite nice. However, there are a few inconveniences that could be improved upon. Firstly, the spa area's whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms have no hooks to hang anything - this would be very useful! Secondly, they do not accept Gpay or Apple pay as payment which is a bit of an issue as many people do not wish to carry wallets to the gym. Since I could not pay I could not eat lunch today. If these two issues were addressed it would greatly improve my experience at LifeTime Buckhead.

My 8-year-old son and I were taking a shower in the family room at Lifetime Fitness around 7pm and were traumatized by a male security who was a former police officer, loudly knocked on our glass shower door while we fully naked and aggressively told us that I was not supposed to be in there. I replied that my son was in the shower with me. He then waited for us to come out and entered the bathroom to explain why he banged on the door. I tried to accept his apology but later realized that if he was listening at the shower door, he would have heard me and my son talking.
The next day my husband called GM to explain happened and he asked me if the security touched us and because he did not touch us, there was no grounds forn termination. Then I asked if I should cancel my $ 400-a-month membership he replied "what's my member number". I told him that we were comming to speak to him in person. When we arrived he was introducing himself to another member in front of me but he realized I was the person, he told me to make an appointment to speak to him. I was outraged.
We no loger feel comfortable with this business because of the disregard for women and children.
I feel when he saw an Asian woman and a black Man that he disregard our membership to the gym. There was no de-escalation process knowing we were upset and needed an explaination or apology for what happened.
