Its an experience that is worth the cost of admission if you have the time to make it so. 3 different pools, a sauna, a steam room, a cold plunge, a hottub, private showers, warm towels, pickleball, basketball, rock climbing, and a bunch of classes that are included in your membership including yoga, pilates, group bike/workout sessions.

I came to lap swim and was in the water when staff told me to get out; by 17:25 (5:25 PM) the swimming team had taken ALL indoor lanes. There was no posted notice or app/website update that the pool would be FULLY unavailable. When I asked about lane access, the coach replied, “those children pay more than you do.” That comment felt disrespectful and made paying members feel disregarded. Please post accurate schedules, reserve at least 1–2 lanes for lap swimmers during practices, and train staff on customer service.

This is a great gymn. I have been a member for many years. It has been good for me and my son. It gets crowded in the evening and the basketball court space reduced as one half was converted to pickleball. Gave 4 stars because it IS a great gymn with all the ameneties one would need. Removed a star for cost- 200 usd a month for a Gymn membership is spending I just cant justify at this point. For the right person with the budget-this is still an excellent gymn.

I canceled my membership on 7/25/2025 because of repeated negative experiences—mainly due to a staff member named Addison in the child center. Every time I came to pick up my daughter, she intentionally ignored me, even though she clearly recognized me. The last straw was when she asked me to show an “American ID” despite the fact that I provided photo of a valid Chinese passport. She knew who I was and that I was there for my child—yet still singled me out in a way that was unprofessional and discriminatory.

As if that wasn’t enough, even after canceling my membership, I was charged $3.30 at the Lifetime Café on 8/16/2025. This is not the first time I’ve seen random small charges appear when I wasn’t even at the gym—especially while traveling. In the past, these errors were resolved at the front desk, but it’s disturbing that they keep happening. $3 is not much, but it showed how careless they are with billing integrity. If you value professionalism, respect, and transparent billing, I would strongly caution against joining this Lifetime.

Excellent gym, and great staff. The instructors like Mike and Savon are among the best I've seen. Ultrafit is an amazing class. The recent refurb with the work area waa a welcome boost. The cold plunge is the final touch. Removing one star because I would prefer a more modern feel to the interior and the showers can get a bit dirty at peak times.

Before I even get into my actual complaint, let me save Life Time the trouble of responding. I already know what they’ll say: ‘We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how frustrating this must have been. We strive to provide accurate communication and quality service, and it seems we fell short this time. We’ll take your feedback into account as we strive to improve. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.’

There you go — copy, paste, corporate empathy. Now that we’ve gotten the canned response out of the way, let me tell you what actually happened…

Damaged health at Lifetime: If a strange large man is following you around, putting his arm around you, jabbing you in the back, don’t talk to staff, just go ahead and call the police. On August 5, 8:23am, I asked the lady at the front desk to calm my friend’s nervous system by making a 1 min call to reassure that lifetime doesn’t allow this, that this is “not okay.” She was very annoyed that I was bothering her for this when she just started her shift. If you’ve ever experienced unwelcome touching, it could leave you with trauma. If you could’ve just made that phone call, you could have stopped mental damage being done. But you allowed it to linger and stew. I tried to explain that it’s not healthy for your customer to let it linger. You knew mental trauma was continuing to happen to your customer, but were too annoyed to deal with it. You’re partially responsible for mental damage and you were aware of what was happening. Is saving a minute of your time worth a LIFETIME of trauma for your customer. Also, people are filming at lifetime, you all have a daycare at your facility and a responsibility to keep your paying customers safe. You’re business is literally health focused. Why are people filming, is it a publicity thing, because most people want privacy.

My advice to the others who are ignored is to contact an agency like the federal trade commission, consumer protection agency, BBB, State Attorney Generals Office (AG Consumer protection division), local health department… Hope this helps.

Had the pleasure of coming to this gym and meeting the “owner” of Lifetime.

While obvious sarcasm, the utter unprofessionalism and mismatched policies between gyms leads to continued confusion for members and guests.

We came here with guests passes and were provided with perhaps the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Not all members will know about policy changes and arguing with potential members about said changes rather than solving the problem at hand will only continue to turn customers away.

What’s even worse than all of that, threatening to bar members and guests from the gym and claiming to have the power to do that is beyond jarring.

Lifetime Alpharetta is literally 1000x nicer, more professional, more courteous, and cleaner. I typically maintain my calm and composure but when you’re threatening to bar myself and my family for a policy change, then I’m going to be aggrieved. Especially when my wife was willing to join on the spot, but Salma was intent on telling my wife she can’t enter when my 2 and 3 year old were in the pool with their aunt essentially trying to keep us from getting our kids. What if something happened to my kids while she was holding us up? No logic. My wife entered anyway to tend to the children and Salma ran off to get the manager… manager didn’t say anything and probably had to tell her she’s wrong because he told me to go ahead and enter. You’re not going to tell my wife she can’t enter when both of our kids are in the pool. Terrible customer service on her part. Seems like a kid because wasn’t taking the fact that my 2 & 3 year old weren’t with us.

Well, this is a nice club, and the gyms are clean and the facilities such as the pool and sauna are good, in the snack bar or restaurant is well run, and they have great Childcare, and great classes too, a number of the machines are in a state of disrepair and have been so for a while now, about a month in the case of the stationary bicycles. Considering the average cost of this club is 5-6 times the cost of Crunch or other clubs in the area, this is disappointing.

I really do like the club. They could use some new machines. It's large, the staff is really nice. My issue is the kids at the pool. OMG, it is literally like daycare. Ppl bring not only their own kids but all their friends! Tons of kids are there with no adults. Yes, they leave or just drop them off. Imagine how well behaved middle school kids are without parents. There were a group of at least 6-8 there last night no parents until about 10pm.
Adults get one guest a month and you can only bring the same person after 2 months. Kids can throw parties, and bring unlimited friends. Not kidding!

People complain wayyy too much. Life Time Johns Creek is hands-down one of the most well-rounded fitness and wellness centers in the area. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a clean, modern, and upscale environment that makes working out feel like a treat instead of a chore. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the overall energy of the place is positive and motivating. Not sure why all the negativity. It is run by humans who are not perfect . Yes every now and then you’ll get someone with a poor attitude or maybe a rushed cleaning job but overall a bice gym

The gym floor is spacious with a wide variety of machines, free weights, and functional training areas. Even during peak hours, it doesnt feel overcrowded. The equipment is usually clean and in great condition, and the layout is sensible

Like all the ones I been to the indoor and outdoor pools are both beautiful and well-maintained, perfect for laps or just relaxing. The sauna, steam room, and hot tub are excellent for post-workout recovery and are kept spotless. The locker rooms are also top-notch, with high-end finishes, towels provided, and even toiletries stocked—small touches that make a big difference. How can you complain unless you’re entitled

Group fitness classes here are fantastic even though I dont go but I hear from my wife and others. The instructos seem knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely invested in helping you get the most out of each session. The schedule is packed with options, so there’s always something that fits your routine.

If you have kids, the childcare (Kids Academy) is amazing depending on the time of the day. The staff is attentive and professional, and they offer fun and engaging activities that go way beyond basic babysitting. It really gives parents peace of mind and makes it easier to commit to a healthy routine.

The cafe is another plus—healthy food, smoothies, and snacks with plenty of options that are actually tasty and satisfying. It can be a little pricey but you get what you pay fir here. Very quality eats

Overall, Life Time Johns Creek feels more like a wellness resort than a gym. It’s a place where you can focus on your physical health, decompress mentally, and even enjoy some family time. Yes, the membership is an investment, but if you’re someone who values quality, cleanliness, and a full lifestyle approach to fitness, it’s absolutely worth it.
Add the fact that they added a work space now this just went up a notch

What's the point of paying for such an expensive gym if none of the equipment ever work. The treadmills are broken. The towel fridges are broken. The massage chairs are broken. The upstairs men's bathroom stall has been out of order for days. A water fountain won't drain. some day lockers won't close properly. The customer service is a hit or miss. They're either really nice or incredibly dismissive. There's this one guy who prioritizes flirting with female colleagues and guests over doing his job.

BEW BEWARE: Rampant Theft and Poor Standards at Johns Creek LifeTime Club

On June 26th, 2025, my son visited the Johns Creek LifeTime Fitness club for a workout. He securely locked his belongings in a locker in the men’s locker room. After just one hour, he returned at 9:00 PM to find the lock on his locker visibly broken—and all the cash stolen from his wallet.

He immediately reported the incident to staff, only to be told there was essentially nothing they could do. They dismissed the idea of involving the police, claiming a report would be pointless. In other words, he was expected to simply accept the theft and move on. Apparently his incident is not unique at this club.

This response is deeply troubling and highlights serious safety and accountability issues at this facility. The club’s standards have clearly deteriorated, and it’s alarming that member property can be violated so easily—with no recourse or support offered.

If you’re considering visiting or are already a member, be extremely cautious. Security appears lax, and management shows little concern for member safety or loss. Very disappointing experience.

Update: evening YOGA classes don't match the skill level of attendees especially on specific days like Tuesday and Friday. Hiring more advanced instructors and expanding the space would better serve the demand, instead of focusing on a salon or working space which is very highly priced or not required and not make takers.
Owner please listen!!!!This gym in comparison to the one in Alpharetta doesn't even come close. It's overcrowded, shower areas are dirty with hair all over, steam rooms are dirty and plenty of uncultured ppl talking loudly in the steam room and around! Like some ppl mentioned forget about the swimming pool, all lanes are reserved for coaching. I've seen ppl getting into the spa/jacuzzi fully clothed. This place is filthy and overcrowded. The staff and instructors are very professional and friendly though!!!!

Ridiculous level of unprofessionality. I drove 40 minutes to take my daughter swimming. Called to ask when family swim was. The front desk told me it ended at 8:00. I get here turns out it ends at 7:00. For a place that tries to be premier it's an absolute joke. Even their own materials at the front desk say it ends at 8:00 but they wouldn't let my daughter swim. While other kids were getting swim lessons. To say I'm disgusted would be an understatement. Closing family swim at 7:00 makes it near impossible for working families to actually use the pool on weekdays after work. Way to alienate your biggest customer base lifetime.

Next day morning I brought my three kids, they didn't allow them in, because there's a certain number of kids allowed in Kids academy. Manager was unhelpful and not able to solve the problem.
Conclusion: Missed my group class, and left with dissapointed kids, wasted time.

I pay to go to the gym to workout and play basketball but mainly to play basketball. I enjoy going with my friends at an average time of 3-8 but lifetime always holds events at the basketball court. Lifetime has a kids court they can use as the kids birthdays, playdays, etc and they can have more fun on the playgrounds so why not move it there. I hope lifetime gets rid of these events because paying 190 a month to wait for some kids to get off the court is ridiculous. Lifetime better fix this. Whats the ceo’s name btw.

Update 3/25/25: The new lounge is open! Absolutely beautiful and people are already using it! Thank you so much!

Absolutely love Life Time. I first joined 15+ years ago as a teenager with my family. I just rejoined this month, and it’s still in pristine condition. I love the yoga and dance classes, and the facility is clean and beautiful. The locker room, pool, pickleball courts, rock climbing wall, studios. Awesome.

I left off one star for now because Life Time Johns Creek desperately needs a coworking space with a few phone booths for private work calls. There are four of us individual workers sitting in the cafe right now, and it’s way too loud. The echoes from the gym fill the busy cafe, which has happy chatting staff members and crying kids. Great cafe ambiance, but not conducive for work.

I’ve been told that a coworking space is in the works, but Johns Creek is low on the list because it’s “more family oriented.” Most families have at least one worker, though. More people would join and stay with Life Time if they could more easily integrate it into their lives.

Overall, I am so glad I joined Life Time. Shoutout to the wonderful staff who’ve made me feel welcome: Miles, Candace, Angela, Renate, Wen, and Dana! The people who work here are so kind and good at their roles. I’m glad to be a member.

It’s quite frustrating when people block the gym entrance while waiting for their kids from swim class. This situation creates congestion and pose safety concerns for everyone trying to enter or exit the gym.

It’s important to think about the flow of traffic in such areas. A clear communication from the gym staff could help by reminding people to wait in designated parking area.

Waiting with hazard lights on and blocking the entrance and clogging the traffic is a shameful behavior!!!

This is a big turn off to sign up at this gym location. It’s an everyday hassle I didn’t want to deal with.

Visited this Lifetime with my wife after upgrading our membership to a higher tier as it's closer to her work. My wife is getting started in her fitness journey at the gym (and Lifetime for that matter) so it was nice to have such nice and clean facilities to work out with.
Lifetime Fitness Johns Creek largely has a similar layout as the Sugarloaf location so it wasn't hard to find everything which was nice.
The differences between my home club in Duluth and the Johns Creek location is that the JC location feels a little more premium and refined but the Sugarloaf location is excellent as well so I think they are both great.
My wife and I had a good workout in the weights area and cardio and enjoyed the showers and locker area. One note that might be important to some: the showers in JC are not as hot as the ones in Sugarloaf so that was one area where my home gym is superior.
I look forward to bringing my son here to try some of their children facilities and programs as well as the swimming pool.
Overall, I'm a fan of this location and look forward to visiting in the future.

Thank you Lifetime for making such a premier gym which makes working out feel outstanding.

5 stars as this is as good as it gets for Fitness Centers.

If the front desk rep is trying to NOT get them sales he’s doing a phenomenal job!! If he is trying to get people in the gym then wow is he dismissive. What’s even more dismissive is when I asked if I could try the gym, like any other reputable gym would let you. Nope it’s $50 for a day pass. Membership for one person? $199!!!! Have kids? $40 on top of that per kid. I get not being a 9.99 per month establishment even 99.99 ok. But 199$? He quoted me $288 per month for myself and my 12,7 year olds. I grew up going to lifetime and went over to CrossFit for some years. Wanted to get back to my roots but at that price with that quality (or lack there of) of service I think not!

Not the lifetime I remember where I paid $140 for two kids and two adults.and by reading the other reviews the charge is not for quality or customer service

I had a disappointing experience with this gym. When I called with a membership question, person at front desk was dismissive and unhelpful. The gym feels overpriced, with inconsistent billing practices that can lead to unexpected charges. Rather than directly addressing concerns, they often redirect you to other departments, which doesn’t inspire confidence in their customer service.

Although they offer appealing tours and emphasize their facilities, the experience changes once you become a member—staff seem less attentive, and the welcoming atmosphere disappears. The pool area is poorly managed, with swim instructors changing frequently, making it hard to rely on consistent training. Overall, it feels like the priority here is simply ensuring the monthly payment, rather than offering members a valuable experience.

I was around when Lifetime was first launching, and I loved it. It was such a nice club. I’m sure this club once was great also. It definitely isn’t nowadays.

Sure, there’s a lot of trash that works out here. That can’t be blamed on Lifetime, but the consistently lazy and rude staff absolutely can be blamed on Lifetime. I once had a staff member try to push the towel cart into me because I dared to walk in her same general vicinity.

The rock wall probably closed during COVID, and because they don’t care about their membership, they have never reopened the rock wall.

I am member of lifetime for 15+ years , I usually go to the sandy springs location where I’m a diamond member- since my friends hung out there … I went to check out the John’s creek location - the gym seemed okay but the studio manager I think his last name was Neal something - I knocked at his door to ask him a question about Pilates since I was interested in learning more about personal training - he acted like I dint exist and did even say hello or respond to my question - he was busy on a phone call - I dint expect that my first in this location would be so condescending …for such a hi-end gym I’m unsure why lifetime would hire unprofessional resources…. If he calls himself the studio manager - I wonder how he would be his staff …

They have increased monthly fee around 30% but the quality has been drastically degraded. I have to agree with one of the post below about disgusting situations in shower rooms with dirty towels all around the floor, soap and shampoo dispenser is almost empty if you visit after 9pm, the swimming pool water is so dirty and stinky that you don't even want to be close to the water, one of the two Hot Spa (Jacuzzi) is out of service most of the time. I have complained to front desk staff at least 4 times but yet to see the quality of care improve.

Note: I am talking about Lifetime facility at Johns Creek, GA.

On 04/29/2023, I reported the management about dirty swimming pool with possible human waste floating on top but as of now nothing has been done yet and swimming pool still open for use.

I have not received any acknowledgment of my email about complaining dirty swimming pool require immediate attention.

This place is getting poorly managed day by day.

1) Water extractor is out of service for several days.
2) No plastic bags for placing dirty and wet clothes after swimming
3) Swimming pool is stinky
4) Several lockers break-ins were reported recently.

This place needs better management for day to day operations

I called the front desk a little before 7 am asking the lady if I could cancel the class because it was not allowing me to cancel on the app (requires a 2 hour cancellation period.) Under circumstances like this, I believe there should be some understanding to just cancel the class for me. We can’t schedule classes if you have 3 “no-shows” a month. I called as soon as I found out that morning. The front desk being rude and short about not canceling the class shows that your club would rather people bring in their feverish kids after popping a Tylenol in them in order to make their gym class. This is not safe for any of the club members, much less the children. A 1.5 hour notice is plenty of time to let it go and just cancel the class for members whose child got sick. This was in general a very bad experience and in bad taste. Other front desk people were more than willing to work with me in the past because I got sick or my children got sick last minute. I have to schedule these classes ahead of time because they get full too. The fact that a gym that is supposed to value a healthy life style definitely does not help with mental health or physical health of their patrons. We get stressed unnecessarily over something that just takes a little human consideration.

Every day something new is broken. Either one jacuzzi is off/broken. The swimsuit dryer is broken. Half the towels have brown poop stains on them.
Homeboy kicked out of the steam room @10:45 PM because they close at 11. Smh.

The price monthly continues to go up. I joined for 120 a month when they were 24 hour. Now they are charging 180 a month per person and the facility is dirty.

You charge extremely high rates already, but then you add the cafe. We DON NOT ACCEPT CASH however, when I pay with my card which is the only other option, you CHARGE A FEE.

What the hell? Only other option…don’t buy things in the cafe.

I will now save my money for other places.

This location is always messy and seems like they are understaffed. The men’s locker room is always dirty and the showers are all very moldy. The steam room always has hair and dirt on the floor and seats. I never see anyone cleaning. There have been several times that there were no towels causing many people to have to use the blow dryers. In the evening there are a lot of kids and teens for swim class which in itself isn’t an issue but they seem to be uncontrolled; crowding the hot tubs and using all the swim lanes. The actual gym portion is as you would expect. Still a bit dirty and older machines but certainly not the worst part. They really need some renovations and deep cleaning.

I’ve been a member for 6 months now and I haven’t had many issues. I’ve noticed that the cleanliness of the club, especially of the pool area has been lacking lately.
I got the membership for the pool, I’ve been disappointed at the lack of swim lanes due to swim team. Tonight this facility had one lane open, the rest of the lanes were occupied by swim team. I brought this concern to a staff member and the staff member was extremely rude and unprofessional. The employee didn’t seem to care about my concern or value me as a member. Very disappointed in this interaction & will not be returning to this facility until I receive a resolution.

I have been with Lifetime for a longtime, originally started my membership in Long Island, NY. In Georgia I used to go to the Alpharetta branch for sometime and even though the quality of services and cleanliness were much lower than NY. It was still acceptable.
After we moved to Johns Creek, I found the Johns creek branch unacceptable for the quality I expect from Lifetime branch. The facilities were dirty. However, the worst was the attitude of administration and the Frontdesk staff. I discontinued my membership about 2 yrs ago when Covid hit.
Recently, My wife approached the branch last week to see if there is any improvement in the facilities and to renew our membership, however she was treated very poorly by the lady at frontdesk (not sure about the name but started with B). I feel that they get our business for granted.
I will be looking for another gym for me and my family.

The towel service is a great convenience. Price is creeping up, though. And when you give your notice to cancel, it does not align with your billing date, so you pay for days after which you can no longer access the facilities.

I was a little skeptical at first switching to Lifetime from a mainly weightlifting gym, but we really needed a childcare option so I took the chance and honestly never looked back. I enjoy all the extra amenities way more than I thought I would. Not to mention literally every person who works here is super friendly and really good at what they do, from the class instructors to the daycare staff and even the front desk. I love going to this gym!

Love this LT compared to others in the area. Loved from NY last year and this place help transition down to the South with their customer service and overall upkeep of even the small details. Good Pickleball community. Pickleball is probably the highlight of this club. However, compared to other clubs that I have visited across the country over 25 years, this is more sub-par of a facility. They should bring in cold water plunge in the men’s locker room.

I have been a lifetime member for years now. i even continued my membership through covid. I am a huge fan of life time gyms around Georgia.
Pros:
1. big Gym Area.
2. couple free classes available to take.
3. personal trainers available for a price.
4. health supplement and food area inside the gym.
5. Sauna, pool, courts, steam room, hot tub, showers, lockers etc.
6. Accommodating staff.

50/50 Pro/Con
1. Not 24/7: For the price i pay i would expect to be able to go when i want whenever i want. This gym is surrounded by many 24 hr gyms that I'm sometime jealous of. Sometimes i have to do some odd hour training at 1am due to jet lag coming from an overseas trip or something. HOWEVER. if they are using this time to clean the gym equipment and lockers and bathrooms and stuff then I'm all for it. its okay just make sure everything is clean please.

Con:
1. When its busy, its VERY busy. Don't even try to come to the gym during peek hours. you wont be able to find a machine without a huge queue. Some people will take up 2 gym equipments by placing their stuff all over an unused machine for their "supersets" or something. Another group of friends will take up 2-3 equipment to swap with each other to do their own sets and hog the equipment during their 1min rest between sets. its just annoying. Its not like they have employees around to monitor gym etiquette. so it is what it is. So when google says its busy they mean BUSY.

Besides that great gym i really like it.

They charge so high price but the pool service is so bad. The competition pool is often reserved by swimming team, and the leisure pool is often reserved by swimming class.
Leaving regular guests no room for swimming.
I bought membership for my whole family including small kids for the indoor pool but often got kicked outdoor because they were short of lifeguards. I could go to my community pool if I want to go outdoor, not paying hundreds of dollars and driving long way to get kicked out.
The pool for kids are only open short time during the day and leaving me not much room for taking kids there..

I like the lifetime fitness Club very much. I always like to relax in this place with my friends, but what makes me angry this week is that I was refused entry when I went to this place. The reason is that members I applied for in another place have to pay extra fees to enter here. I am very strange that I have paid extra fees since I chose to spend my time here. I have been in a club in this area for more than a year. Just because I added a member in my account, everything changed. My membership fee was asked to add 50 dollar more to enter this place. This rule is really absurd and unreasonable. The receptionist in front has a very bad attitude, which makes my mood even worse. I hope the attitude can be better.Anyway, we're here to play, and what we need is to keep a good mood, so I'll just complain and hope it will change.

Love the LifeTime Johns Creek! The staff is always cheerful and greeting. Even though the Parking usually looks packed, inside, the space is very accommodating. Huge indoor pools (for lapping or exercising). A bit too early still for 2 outdoor pools. Saunas (near the pool & another in the Men’s Locker area) + 2 great big Hot Tubs + a fantastic Steam Room à la Eucalyptus help wind down the session(s). I had a membership for a couple months and canceled it as I moved closer to the city. I had no issues with cancelling the membership and didn’t get charged afterwards.

I enjoyed my time at the gym. It was always clean and well equipped. I enjoyed the amount of machines and weight racks. I used the sauna and hot tub frequently. I mainly went at night and stayed until close.

My only complaint was the aggression of one of the cleaning staff when it was close to closing time. But once a friend of mine spoke to management about her, things got better.

I joined Lifetime because of its two great basketball courts. This was that I never found in other gyms like LA Fitness. However, they recently changed one to pickle ball court. What even worse is that they begin to made lots of reservations for some events (maybe birthday party) which will make the floor slippery and further increase the risk of injury. So bad for members like playing basketball!

This gym has deteriorated real bad over the years. Rude staff at the front desk and member services treating members very disrespectfully, with sarcasm and laughter. The music at the gym along with some trainers are so loud it hurts ears. Saunas, showers and studios are filthy with clotches of dust and hair on the floor laying for weeks. Swimming pool oftentimes gets closed due to poop accidents and broken glass. Swimming pool area is so dirty with black dirt on the floors. Jacuzzi is over chlorinated so much that makes you cough and suffocate. White towels are old and grey color and not well washed. Theft is a very common thing at this gym. Lockers are broken into very often. The child center staff do not look after children at all even when they get into fights. The swim team is very weak, coaches rotate a lot and could care less about coaching. Customer service is literally non-existent, they tell you to send an email but no-one ever responds to emails, never returns your calls or voicemail. The membership fees are real high and not worth it at all, save your money and find another gym.

The front desk people, especially this lady was extremely rude. I do not know her name but she’s an African American lady with dyed braids. Me and my friend walked in and she was going to use a guest pass for me. The lady asked how old I was, and I just didn’t really know why she was asking my age because I was unaware of this whole lifetime policy thing. I tried to answer but my friend answered more quickly, telling her my age. She then goes, “can she not speak?” even though I was clearly trying to reply. Then, she proceeds to ask again specifically to me so that I can say it myself. So rude, I was shocked because I have never gotten this kind of customer service and the guy next to her, who is a bald white man with beard wasn’t any better since he was kind of going with her attitude and honestly the whole situation made me feel disrespected. After that, they asked if i had an ID, and my friend, who was probably also totally unaware of the policy said I was visiting from Virginia. Then, either the bald white man or the lady with braids said, “does Virginia not have an ID?” in a very sarcastic way, and I could just tell that they were embarrassing us. We didn’t even do anything to them, we just wanted to experience the yoga class there, and we just didn’t know the policy. They treated us so harshly without trying to kindly guide us through the process. Very unprofessional, front desk people should be willing to help their members and new people coming in with kindness and friendliness. Disappointing. Apparently, she has a bad reputation since the people I asked about her all said she is mean and rude. The only reason why I gave this place two stars despite the treatment I got is because of the facility and the good quality of the yoga class.
