I’ve really enjoyed upper body Mondays with Jamie. He’s personable and always shows us how to perform the exercises properly. He mixes up the workouts so there’s enough new movements to not get bored. It’s an intimate class that I hope to continue attending 💪🏾💪🏾

Truly a great facility and great instructors. They've been extremely accommodating to make everyone feel safe during the COVID crisis and even offered remote support when it's not safe to be out and about in Atlanta. They've been a huge part of my fitness/health turnaround story!

Easily my favorite gym in Atlanta! Classes are super fun, always changing, and easily scalable. The trainers here genuinely care about their clients and have gone above and beyond to sanitize and socially distance.

Everyone on the Lion's Den staff is very knowledgeable and supportive, which makes the classes worthwhile. If classes don't work with your schedule, personal training sessions are an option. I work out with Jamie. He's consistent, thorough, reliable, and creative in making sure you get the result you want. I would not hesitate a moment to recommend Jamie if you’re looking for a personal trainer.

tl;dr: Fantastic coaches worth every dollar for me with a genial atmosphere
After being disappointed by 2 other personal trainers in midtown, I was skeptical coming into Lion's Den, but it happened to be walking distance so I gave it a shot. Jamie spent 30 mins understanding my goals and what I valued in a PT and then subsequently really put forth the effort to get me to my goals without overwhelming me or pushing me uncomfortably beyond my limits. He espouses consistent hard work, which paid off over months and taught me how to do lots of different movements to get good at moving, which I am very grateful for.
What I needed was someone that would have everything ready to go so my limited motivation doesn't run out and Jamie did exactly that - he had everything set up for me the minute I walked in. There was never contention for equipment or space.
I've only trained with Jamie, but all the other coaches are also very friendly and the atmosphere is very amicable. I never feel like I'm disappointing my coach even with the setbacks of living a fun life and always walk out of the place feeling proud and like I am progressing.

I’ve been training at Lions Den for over three years now. Shawn and his team offer a different training experience, one where there’s no comparison to other clients but sole focus on you, the individual and your goals. Ben has helped change my life and helped me achieve fitness goals I never thought I would conquer. I wouldn’t consider training anywhere else.

LDF is an awesome space and community where every class is a refreshing start or end to a day. The trainers are personable and ensure proper form and provide modifications if you need them. I've been going to their classes for over a year and no two classes are the same. That's the BEST part of LDF. I began training with Hannah in July of last year and could not ask for a better experience. Hannah makes each session challenging and is always bringing something new to the table. She provides guidance and feedback which are truly motivating. I’ve found myself going through work routines I never thought possible. Been a member for almost 2 years now, fantastic gym! Regular classes M-Sa, with each day focusing on specific muscle groups, so very easy to plan your workout schedule. Coaches are very encouraging, other members are friendly and supportive, and there is absolutely zero judgements all-around, whether you're lifting 5-lb curls or 30lb. The exercise routines are constantly rotated so you're never bored. As someone who has never had motivation to go to a gym for more than a few months before losing interest, this gym has kept me going and i can't begin to describe the improvements i've made!

Lion's Den is my daily stress relief! Also a great, group workout for which I can choose the intensity level. All the instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable. Always enjoy the music too! Lately they have expanded the number of weekday and weekend class options which makes it easier to attend. Super conveniently located in the heart of midtown.

Hello! When I recently moved to Midtown, I was searching for a gym, and I happened to find Lion's Den close my apartment. I've been working out at the gym now for a month, and I just extended my membership to even longer. Shawn and Jamie are great coaches that keep you encouraged and make sure you are doing the exercise in the correct form. They actually get to know you on a first name basis and care about what you're trying to achieve. After a month of attending regularly, I've seen great progress from weight loss to gaining muscle and strength. Whether you're a beginner or a person who is into fitness, Lion's Den is one of the best gyms I can recommend.

Enjoyed an amazing squat burnout to Moby "Flower" as final piece of EXCELLENT Back/Biceps/Butt class taught by Shawn G. It's brisk, circuit style and very challenging yet beginner friendly since there are plenty of different weights and well-explained options to adjust downwards (and upwards). My biceps BLEW UP after just this 1 class. Back only a bit sore. Butt didn't feel much, but Shawn could easily focus on glute isolation in personal training. Environment is masculine, relatively friendly, and ideal for concentrating on your muscles.
