This place deserves 10 stars!
A beautiful yoga studio curated and led by the incredible Sava. I took his four-week intro workshop and several individual classes, and I can confidently say this studio outshines all others.
Sava teaches with precision and care — making sure every student knows what they're doing safely and confidently. In just a few weeks, I’ve gained both skill and self-assurance in my practice. He’s personable yet direct in his feedback, always focused on helping you improve.
If you’re serious about building a strong foundation and enjoying the process, this is the place to practice.

Wow, Mysore Yoga Atlanta has been definitely the highlight of my first time visiting Atlanta. Was randomly looking for an Ashtanga Shala to practice and ended it up being the most life changing yoga experience I have in the last 8 years practicing yoga.
Sava is truly an amazing teacher, and I’m grateful to say I FOUND the Guru to follow for advancing my practice. Not only his attention to his student, and his dedication. I never knew how to properly do Ujjayi breath until I met Sava.
The studio is beautiful designed, located the basement floor of building 15. Sava and his wife welcomed me and makes me feel so at peace and belongs.
Thank you Sava for your time, and your beautiful community. Can’t wait to come back everytime to visit.

Sava is amazing! He was so patient & informative. I left the class having a huge appreciation for the practice of yoga and how transformative proper breathing can positively effect my body mentally, physically, and spiritually. The facility is breathtaking! You walk in and instantly feel a sense of calm. After class I participated in the tea ceremony which was an added cherry on top to an already amazing class! I highly recommend Mysore Yoga. Thank you Sava!

I was in search of a traditional Ashtanga yogashala in Atlanta and felt incredibly fortunate to have found Sava and MYA. Proper guidance and instruction are essential when learning Ashtanga yoga as this style cannot be taught by just anyone. Sava is the real deal and if you are looking to take your practice to a deeper level, then MYA is where you should be. Sava has an uncanny ability to understand where you are and how to gently push you forward to advance you in your practice. Classes are conducted in the Mysore style so I can move through the sequence at my pace and work on getting into the postures. Sava is always there to guide and gently correct me. He has helped me to understand the proper techniques to bind, to breathe and to slow down to cultivate mindfulness. As a beginner, I consider myself fortunate to have found a teacher who shows patience, even when I occasionally fail to recall certain concepts he has already taught me. He patiently shows me again and this gives me confidence to explore and challenge myself further in my Ashtanga journey.
The yogashala itself? A beautiful space with large windows that overlook into a lush green garden. It is quite an inviting atmosphere! Highly recommend for those looking to expand and challenge their mind and body.

I was introduced to yoga at a very young age by my grandmother. While I’ve forgotten many of the poses she taught me, her words have always stayed with me: “Yoga unites mind, body, and spirit.”
Over the past fifteen years, I’ve practiced at countless studios and retreats, but Mysore Yoga by Sava stands out as a place that truly embodies the essence my grandmother spoke of. This practice has deeply impacted every area of my life—calming my mind, strengthening and toning my body, and nurturing a deeper spiritual connection.
If you're looking to learn authentic yoga techniques, uplift your mood, improve focus, navigate life’s ups and downs, live more mindfully, connect with the divine within, and be part of a genuine and supportive community, I wholeheartedly recommend this studio.

I started Ashtanga with Sava back and 2019 and have just come back to the studio to get connected with the community after a long time of self-practice. Honestly I was a bit nervous! But I immediately felt at ease and am excited to see where this goes. The new studio space is breathtaking.... think of a high-end spa with floor to ceiling views of nature, warm woods, and everything designed to keep you relaxed and energized. Sava is a master of meeting anyone where they are and not applying pressure to be perfect. if you have ever wanted to try this style of yoga I cannot imagine a better place.

A sanctuary for true practice🙏🏼
Embarking on my Mysore journey here has been both grounding and transformative. Though yoga has long been part of my wellness routine, this is the first time I’ve felt deeply held not just physically, but energetically within the discipline.
Sava guides with a genuine reverence for the lineage. This space is more than a studio, it is a home for heartfelt sādhana.

Mysore Yoga is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. This beautiful studio is located on the bottom floor of an office tower in Piedmont Center. Sava is a great teacher who provides individualized instruction, allowing students to learn at their own pace. Most classes are a collective of individual practices though there are some group sessions. Sava is good about making modifications based on one's current level and letting the student decide how much they want to push themselves. An introductory session is required for new practitioners to help you initially adapt to the practice. It is well worth it and almost like a private lesson.

This isn’t just a yoga studio; it’s a sanctuary. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner, the welcoming atmosphere and Sava makes every session feel personalized and enriching. Sava teaches you how to breathe and how to synchronize every breath with each movement. At the beginning it is hard but the further it goes the more mesmerizing it gets. I could never imagine my body would be capable of something more than jumping jacks. Anything is possible at MySore and anything comes gradually with immaculate precision.
The space itself is beautifully designed, with authentic, wooden hand made doors, amazing plants and tea party area. Every piece of furniture, every detail has its character. The view from the windows is just mind blowing and the ivy landscape behind is almost speaking in tongues, being blown by the wind.
MySore is definitely the place that is going to leave a trace in the history of Atlanta, GA.

This is hands down the best yoga studio in Atlanta!
I am so grateful to have found this place. Sava is an amazing instructor. He is knowledgeable, patient and truly supportive.
Earlier this year, I decided to focus more on gentle movement like yoga and was curious about Ashtanga because of its structured approach and the potential progress. After doing some research, I typed "Mysore" in Google and found this studio in Atlanta. At first, I was so nervous to try something new, but I told myself I would never know unless I tried the beginner course. Once I finished it, I told myself "This is it!" haha
Sava has been incredibly patient with me, even when I am forgetful ;) He encourages the students to push our limits while also listening to our bodies. He would tell us when we are flexible /strong enough to do the next progression. In Ashtanga, having a great instructor is so important especially when it comes to alignment and mastering the detailed elements of each posture.
The studio is also very clean, has a nice interior and gives a very calm/quiet environment. It also has shower if you need.
Anyone can practice Ashtanga as long as you have the desire to see how your body and mind can transform. Everyone starts somewhere, so don't be afraid. This studio is the perfect place to begin your journey!

I've been going to Mysore Yoga Atlanta for a little over a year and can easily say it has changed my life. Strength, flexibility and inner peace are becoming a part of my life because of this practice and Sava's guidance. I highly recommend this unique practice to everyone.
Edited 4/5/25 to add that it’s now been about 6 1/2 years since I started at Mysore Yoga Atlanta and it’s now so foundational to my life. I’ve been in situations recently that in the past would have rattled me to my core. But my ashtanga practice, specifically Mysore, has played such a huge part in calming my nervous system. This practice isn’t so much about which poses you can do (I have to modify a lot of the poses) but more about creating a peaceful calm sensation within. If you’re reading this and have never been, I urge you to come give it a try.

Ya know like in the movie, “Carrie”. When the mom mocks: “They’re all going to laugh at you!”. But nah, not at this Shala! Got the totes peaceful and chill vibes here! Thanks Sava! 🫶

We are long term Ashtanga practitioners. We have traveled to many studios across the country as well as international. This is one of the very best studios we have had the pleasure to practice. The community, energy, and personal attention to the individual needs of each student is so important. When you practice here you can see that they make this a priority and you can feel it. Whether you are a beginner or advanced student this is one of the best places to learn and practice this traditional version of yoga. To learn to breath, focus, move the energy in the body. Bringing all of these together to have more joy, health, and happiness in your life.

This is not a review about yoga, but tea!
Mysore Yoga serves gongfu tea to their students each week, and I was privileged to have a personal experience of gongfu tea with owner Sava preparing and serving.
It was my first experience of gongfu tea, and the quickest way to explain it is "expert level tea preparation with very high-end tea." Think of the experience as combining a somellier with a chef who knows all the ins and outs of cooking.
What surprised me was how, with just one measure of tea, I received several tastings; the first steeping was only five seconds! But there was clearly a delicate fragrance and taste to it.
Subsequent steeps were longer with aroma and taste becoming more robust, but there was a clear distinction from taste to taste.
I don't think you can just walk in and order gongfu tea at Mysore, but it makes a lovely way to cap off a yoga session!

I regularly come to Sava’s morning Ashtanga session and I couldn’t recommend it more! He’s incredibly attentive to all the students, with amazing adjustments and points to develop your Practise. Plus, he’s never forgotten a students name, which is such a classy touch 💅🏻. If you’re already an experienced yogi your Practise will deepen and develop with the expert guidance of all the teachers. If you’re new Ashtanga then you couldn’t be in better hands to begin the journey with teachers who support you with skill, patience and a bit of humor!
They recently moved locations to a bigger studio in piedmont centre. Gorgeous space, parking right outside the building, and showers if you need them. Everything you want basically.

SAVA Mysore Yoga is truly a gem among yoga studios. It offers one of the most refreshing, calming, and fulfilling yoga experiences I’ve ever had. The practice isn’t just exercise; it’s a holistic journey for the body, mind, breath, and soul. Sava's teaching style radiates positive energy, encouragement, and a uniquely motivating approach, making each session feel both rejuvenating and accessible.
The studio caters to practitioners at all levels, but the highlight is undoubtedly the "Mysore style." This approach allows students to practice poses at their own pace, with individualized guidance from teachers until they master each pose before moving forward. There’s no pressure to keep up with others or to worry about making mistakes, creating a stress-free and supportive environment.
I highly recommend visiting for a class or trying the beginner's month-long session to experience this transformative practice firsthand. For me, I’ve found my ideal self-care routine at SAVA Mysore Yoga—this is my daily practice from now on.

I am currently attending the Beginners Course at Mysore Yoga Atlanta - it is a birthday present to myself :) I have practiced various forms of yoga for over 20 years and am YTT 200-hour certified, but was still intimidated by Ashtanga yoga. It seemed too rigorous for me - too fast, too difficult, too long, too advanced... - of course I was judging it from an online class I took once (literally one time), which I had to stop halfway through because I couldn't keep up. Flash forward several years, I saw the beginners course advertised and for some reason felt drawn to it. I do believe we are drawn to certain things for a reason, so I signed up to see what it was all about. It is nothing like I expected! You learn the breath work and poses in the course sessions each week, and then you practice it during the week. Go to the practice sessions included in the course! The instructors are there to make gentle adjustments, reminders and suggestions. The Mysore style class is unguided. It is a set sequence, however you practice at your own pace (not too fast) with a focus on correct breath, breath-to-movement and alignment. Sava does such a fantastic job teaching, breaking it down in bite-size pieces (not too difficult), only adding more when you are ready (not too long). You only go as far or as deep as you can continue your breathing for the full hold time of the pose (not too advanced). With regular practice, your form improves and you can flow through the sequence a little easier, going deeper or adding more challenging poses along the way. At Mysore Yoga Atlanta, they accept you and meet you where you are, without judgment or expectation. It has been a great experience, I have learned a lot and I am so glad I enrolled in this course. I definitely recommend giving it a try! Your mind, body and spirit will thank you!!

I'm very thankful for the 4 weeks of Ashtanga beginner’s training in Mysore!
I enjoyed the depth of the trainings, ashtanga wisdom shared, friendly and knowledgeable support of the Teacher, the intensity and energy of the practice and people I’ve met who share the same enthusiasm and respect to this discipline.
I admire Sava’s professionalism and very grateful that he didn't lower the expectations for me and gave me tasks for me to grow and challenge me.
I highly recommend Mysore. They provide the perfect environment to support your personal journey, based on your body’s capacity, to look inwards rather than follow general instructions and directions, and they provide a very knowledgeable support adjusting and assisting you to deconstruct your body’s and mental limitations. If you take your yoga practice seriously- you’ll find your Teacher and the perfect space for your practice to evolve here!

I'm on the last week of the 4-week beginner's course and I’ve been recommending it to my friends and neighbors! It should tell you something when a large chunk of the course students are present/past yoga teachers. There’s so much good information and foundational techniques/tips that even teachers/seasoned practitioners are finding value in this course. And it’s not too overwhelming or intense for beginners like me, too! This is coming from someone who did Youtube yoga here and there and a random yoga class once in a blue moon.
Sava teaches in a way that makes me excited to go practice and also gives me the courage to face my insecurities on the mat. He really knows what you can handle (even when you don’t think you can) and will push you in ways that make you feel more confident in your practice. It’s amazing how he remembers every students’ sequence progression as well as manages to stay attentive to the individual adjustment needs of everyone in a Mysore class session.
There’s so much to learn that I’ve found it super helpful to get the spiral book that he recommends!
Come check out a class, you won’t regret it!

I taught myself some yoga for several years before I happened to see Mysore_Yoga_Atlanta add for beginner’s class in March 2023, which I signed up immediately. I was so excited about this because I had been looking for a certified authentic Ashtanga yoga teacher after reading Yoga Mala by Sri K Pattabhi Jois , the book tells us to practice under certified Ashtanga instructors. I was amazed by the welcoming and beautiful atmosphere of Mysore_Yoga_Atlanta, and this was the very first time I stepped into a yoga studio! But what impressed me most is the teacher, Mr Sava, he is so professional, so serious, so passionate and yet so friendly and humorous in his teaching. I found out that I couldn’t even breathe correctly despite of those few years’ self-teaching! So I started all over again from the very basics: breathing! After I finished the second beginner class, I felt I was alive: I can breathe! During the past almost one year, I have been practicing about 3 times a week under Mr Sava’s instructions, I keep making mistakes, but above all I keep making progress. No mistake is too small to avoid Mr Sava’s professional sharp eyes. No shortcut, but all strict practices pay off. I never thought I could accomplish up to three quarters of primary series in merely a year. Mr Sava instructs and inspires me to do what I used to think “mission impossible “. Mr Sava is magic, he knows every student’s uniqueness and has his magical methods to instruct each of us students to the asanas. I become a stronger, more confident and happier person ever since I practiced at Mysore _Yoga_Atlanta, there’s no word to express my deep gratitude for Mr Sava, who keeps inspiring me in this life-changing and life-long journey. I am so blessed and honored to be his student. God bless him forever. Namaste ❤️🧘♂️🙏

I am about 5 years into my Yoga journey and nearly completed my first year learning Ashtanga and committing to a daily practice. The rewards of a healthier body and steadier mind are so satisfying. The Ashtanga practice has physically opened my hamstrings, hips and back while improving balance….Sava sought to understand and learn my body’s needs and made progress helping/guiding me each week, each session. His assists are healing and different. My understanding of Breath with his teaching is dramatically different than a year ago and this has carried to my days where I breath more consciously and am more present with less thoughts and improved mental clarity. It is a demanding practice, but the impact to my nervous system, spiritual development and life are worth the effort. I find Sava’s firm/disciplined and caring approach effective for me. My wife also enjoys her practice with Sava and while she arrived more advanced as a former instructor, she too has grown remarkably in this year w Sava’s guidance. We appreciate the community of like mind souls doing their work. I plan to be a lifetime Ashtanga practitioner and will advocate this journey to each person I speak with.

I had been hitting a wall with yoga. I completed YTT 200-hour training. I had been going to a studio and went to classes 5-6 times a week, but I was not making much progress. I was doing poses, but I was missing the body-mind connection.
The artificial heat depleted my energy and I couldn’t give the actual yoga practice my 100%. I dislike music in today’s modern yoga studios. I find it distracting and unnecessary.
Since when yoga classes have become a Hollywood production? There must be music playlists, theming, and peak poses. I am yearning for the basics without smoke and mirrors.
Then I found Mysore Ashtanga. I’m ever so grateful that a friend recommended that I give Ashranga yoga a try. I signed up for the new student intro session and I knew I’ve finally found my holy grail. This is what I have been searching for——an introspective, structured yoga program that has been passed down from generation to generation. No music, no artificial heat. Just yoga. I’ve experienced more growth for past two months than what I have had in years.
I appreciate Sava and other amazing instructors at Atlanta Mysore studio. Thank you for your guidance and mentorship. Thank you for keeping the Ashranga yoga lineage alive.

I am so thankful to Mysore Yoga Atlanta for offering virtual classes that I can use to support my home practice all the way out in rural-ish Michigan. Sava and the other teachers have adapted to the needs of virtual students so expertly....I am amazed at how precisely I've been cued in my postures and breathing over Zoom! Sava and Clarence have taught me several self-adjustments that have already made significant changes in my practice. I am so very thankful to have a connection to Sava's Ashtanga community, it has truly revived my practice.

Mysore Yoga Atlanta is an authentic Ashtanga studio dedicated to preserving the original style and form developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. Sava and his teachers start you at the beginning, teaching you via the Trishtana Method (poses, breathing and gaze) and you progress at your own pace under their watchful eye. Sava’s adjustments are next level intuitive and my practice has grown so much since I’ve been practicing either with or next to Sava since 2013. 🙏

My wife and I joined Mysore around a year ago. It has been wonderful for my mind, body, and soul. The mediation of my practice has been great to calm my mind. Before I started I couldn’t touch my toes and my knees hurt all the time. Now I love stretching, my knees don’t hurt, and I’m far more resilient. I’m able to keep
Up with my 3-year old now. The Mysore process of self-practice allowed me to start where I was at and to uniquely progress for my body. Im far more athletic too. For my soul, my wife and I love practicing together and our relationship is stronger because of our shared journey. Although we do and can practice at home because of the program. We love going to the studio. The team is professional, supportive, and motivating with corrections. I’ve come so far in a year, but I’m excited to see what a longer term impact this will continue to have on my life.

Ashtanga is incredible and a perfect compliment to my flow practice. Sava is one of only 3 licensed Ashtanga instructors in Georgia. This is so critical because of the difficulty of the practice. He knows what your body is capable of from a mental and physiological standpoint, giving you poses only when he knows you're ready, and provides alternates until your body is ready for the full expression. As he says, life is hard, but with Ashtanga, it is easy! We are going to sign up up for unlimited

I started my Ashtanga Practice at Mysore Yoga 5 months ago and it has changed my life. During my 1on1 with Sava, I learned how Ashtanga could improve my life and the ujjayi breathing technique. Both Sava and Jamie are welcoming and outstanding teachers and attentive to their student’s individual needs. No music, mirrors, or excessive heat here. Instead, Mysore Yoga is a spiritual space with an incredible community that promotes your wellbeing. After just a few weeks of regular Mysore self-practice, I am far more flexible, self-aware, and much less stressed. If you want to explore the amazing benefits of yoga, I cannot recommend Mysore Yoga highly enough!

This yoga studio happened to be close to my house so my son and I started taking private lessons with Sava. I didn’t realize I was walking into the most authentic yoga studio in Atlanta! I am Indian and remember watching my grandfather practice yoga at the age of 70. I feel I am continuing with a pure and disciplined practice here— no pop music, no incoherent blending poses and movements per the teacher’s whims, as I found at other yoga studios in the city. Sava has studied with the father of Ashtanga yoga in Mysore, India, and the significance of learning the pure form of Ashtanga is the discipline, the calm and the peace of mind it brings. I love this yoga class! During the stressful time of the pandemic it is helping me achieve internal balance.

From my very first yoga class at Mysore Yoga Atlanta, the instructors were so warm and welcoming they made me feel like family. Currently, I am taking the Yoga Therapy 1 classes; and, I absolutely love them. The instructors always offer modifications on the poses so that I can practice yoga in a safe manner. In each class, breathing techniques are highlighted which is major; I love having assistance in matching my breathing to the yoga vinyasas. Sava, one of the instructors, often begins the class with a mini tutorial on a certain pose or transition to help us out during class. Plus, Sava explains the deeper mind, body, soul connections of yoga during class.
Even the studio itself is quite charming. With Tibetan Singing Bowls and Hindu Statues lining the front and back walls, and comfy Indian furniture in the reception area, it feels like a slice of Mysore, India has been transported to Sandy Springs. Fresh cut roses always grace the reception area and powder room. And, the studio itself is impeccably clean, with a fresh lavender scent. Even the outside of the studio has beautiful rose bushes lining the front.
Along with terrific yoga training, Mysore Yoga Atlanta has something for all your senses. It is visually beautiful with lovely decor. It smells divine from the fresh cut roses. And, sometimes during Savasana, the final resting pose, Sava will treat us to the sweet sounds of the Tibetan Singing Bowls. All in all, I highly recommend Mysore Yoga Atlanta; it is literally a slice of Yoga Heaven!

The virtual Mysore and led classes offered here have been a godsend to help me keep up my Ashtanga practice during the pandemic. Even though they offer classes with masked adjustments, I'm not ready to make the leap back into a studio environment, so feel very fortunate they also give students the option to practice virtually. I am always impressed with the level of attentiveness Sava and others have shown in keeping up with me on the large television screen that is situated in the studio on a wall to the side of the other practitioners, who don't seem to notice or mind the folks on screen. Minus hands-on adjustments, I feel like I am getting the same level of instruction as if I were physically there in the studio and feel like I am part of the community. Over the past months of practicing virtually - from my dining room - I have definitely grown in my practice and have even overcome a few obstacles in postures that have been eluding me for quite some time. Sava's suggestions are always spot-on. I look forward to joining everyone in the studio soon.

After years practicing different styles of yoga, I tried Ashtanga with Sava, and was hooked. Sava's private lessons are great, especially if you are new to the primary series; led classes are fantastic (typically sold out if you don't reserve early); and Mysore style classes are where I've experienced the most growth in terms of balance, strength and flexibility. I have come to the Ashtanga yoga for a month now and this is completely different experience than any other yoga. First of all, Save is wounderful teacher. He is very patient to teach you every single move that is meet with your physical ability. I am also amazed by his attention division for each student (So don't worry if you walk in and see a full house, and yes, he is watching your moves and will correct you). And the sweet Jennifier also give you lots of detail tips that help me move better. I came in to the studio and hope the yoga can release tension at my back muscle; however, I feel the Ashtanga yoga gave me more than that. I start learning about myself, learn more about my body, and aware how I move with my breath, and through the process I feel more confident about my body and feel good by what I can do with my ability. The most important thing that I like is everything is going with your own flow. Also, you will be AMAZED by some awesome people in the studio of what they are doing with their body or the video clips you found. I feel very excited and motivated to learn new move to challenge myself and eventually achieve those moves that is "out of my mind". With all that being said, come to Mysore Yoga Atlanta studio and try for yourself and you will feel the difference!!!
P.S., love what they did with the interior of the studio!

I wish there're super stars I can rate for. I'm so grateful to find this place after searching so long for such a place to get me deep into what yoga is. I'm so honored to have Sava as my awesome teacher and my guide into Ashtanga which I would love to completely commit myself to. Not only Sava sets you an unique way to get yourself step by step achieve what you could have only admired before, also the principle/essence behind each postures he would generously share with everyone to let you learn more about Ashtanga and more overwhelmed about who you would become to. Besides, we have awesome Jennifer too. she showed me how you would appreciate the beauty of Ashtanga, from every posture, to every breath. Sava and Jennifer have set a perfect bar for me to practice harder and harder whereas more importantly, I've enjoyed it so much and I'm absolutely finding myself different from a few months ago - more happier. (btw, this is probably my very first Google review, because I have so much to share).

I looked up Traditional Yoga Classes. I have always wanted to study Ashtanga. Sava is an extremely knowledgeable teacher. He is strict with the practice itself, but also very kind. He meets you where you are. He is so aware of everyone that is in the class and when they need help. When we are in that practice space, he is fully present to each of us at all times. Also, it is important to note that the people who practice here are very kind and welcoming.
Ashtanga yoga can be very intimidating and this particular practice is no exception. It is an extremely traditional practice based exactly on how he learned in India and is passed down to us without deviation from the original tradition. The Mysore method is really incredible in that you don't have to get there at an exact specific time and you do not start or finish with anyone else. It is your practice. With Atlanta traffic there is nothing more disheartening than finally arriving at a yoga studio and not be allowed in because you were late. This is not the case with this particular style and for me this eliminates a lot of extra stress and anxiety.
Each person is receiving private instruction even though you share the space with others. For anyone who wants to pursue a yoga path that is founded in deep tradition with a teacher who is the very best of the best, this is the place for you.

In my two and a half years of working with Sava, my Ashtanga practice has really blossomed. I would highly recommend practice with Sava at Mysore Yoga Atlanta 🧘♂️!

If you want to correctly learn, practice and incorporate traditional ashtanga yoga into your life, I highly recommend Mysore Yoga Atlanta. Sava is an incredible teacher who is patient and works individually with each student to help them get the most out of their practice. Jen is also a wonderful teacher and a great complement to Sava. The classes are authentic and unpretentious.
As with anything in life, to get the most out of it, you must commit to it for a length of time to truly evaluate its benefits and whether you should stick with it (probably a few months minimum). This is not a yoga class to mix into your routine of other workout classes.

Sava’s teachings are a real gift for any yoga practitioner of any level. He is a seasoned technician who uses a kind but firm approach to help you pinpoint areas of your boy that want attention. Thanks in part to Sava’s detailed instruction I was able to master drop-backs after 10 years of trying. Ashtanga is a challenging style, but Sava helps you navigate the challenges with precision.

I'm so grateful to be able to practice Mysore Yoga again! Even after practicing for years i've learned so much from Sava. His adjustments are firm without going to far and he has so much knowledge of how the body works and of the Ashtanga practice. The studio is a very comfortable and a welcoming place to start my day. Sava is very patient with all his students and does a great job making new students comfortable.

Mysore Yoga Atlanta is a wonderful and relaxing place. As a true beginner (I have never done any type of yoga in my entire life), I was afraid to try something new and hesitant about what the experience would be like. Fortunately, Sava has the unique ability to teach multiple students at once and still make you feel like you're the only person in the room. He is a patient and intuitive instructor and I'm so grateful for his guidance while I continue to practice. This has been a challenging and exciting experience so far. If I can do it, anyone can! Thank you Sava and MYA!

Sava is without a doubt the best teacher outside of Mysore I’ve had the pleasure to be a student of. I’ve studied with teachers in Japan, Malaysia, all over India, and Europe. His style of teaching and knowledge of anatomy and the asanas is amazing. And is adjustments are all individual not general. Thank you Sava! See you in class!

Highly recommend this studio for both beginners and advanced ashtanga practitioners. The place has a cool vibe and Sava is a great instructor who pushes you but instinctively knows your limits. He also has a great sense of humor which makes the classes fun.

Mysore studio is a great place to practice ashtanga yoga. The classes that are taught include full primary series as well as advanced individual practice for those that are ready for it.
The group classes taught by Sava are excellent. His style is confident and he is by far the most experienced ashtanga teacher I know. For full primary series Sava paces the class really well and keeps everyone on track. I used to come only on weekends but realized that weekday evening classes are perfect since the group is smaller and everyone can receive individual attention and special guidance.
If you decide to embark on the path of being healthy, ashtanga yoga is the way to go and Sava is the person that can lead you.

Sava has created a wonderful space for students of Ashtanga, teaching both Mysore and led classes. His excellent knowledge and dedication are readily apparent, and he works diligently with students of every skill level to help them access the practice of Ashtanga. Jen also brings terrific enthusiasm for the practice, and the overall feel of the studio is welcoming and comfortable.

Great space, great people, and a phenomenal teacher! Sava is one of the few people (perhaps the only one) who are authorized to teach Ashtanga Yoga in Georgia. He is incredibly knowledgeable, open to students of all levels, and encourages new people. And for those that don't know Ashtanga - it's not like other yoga and if you are into yoga and haven't tried Ashtanga - try it here!

Sandy Springs was in much need of Mysore Yoga Atlanta. Sava has such a gentle, but powerful and authentic way about the practice, it is beautiful. Jen is wonderful too and both of them are here to share the lineage of Ashtanga and support the student in anything they may need. It will become my new home for my practice. Mysore Yoga Atlanta holds true to the lineage of Ashtanga and can share those traditions and pass them on to us as students. The practice is taught in a very supported environment, Sava and Jen both go over postures for correct alignment along with supported adjustments. I am so excited for the great things to come for MYA.
